You can try and take part in different promising ICO projects, whose general idea and road map will be attractive enough and the token costs less than $1. The market is very unpredictable, you never know. But as I see it today, all the altcoin just "want" to go up.. I believe the altcoin season has started..

12000$ is quite a lump. To be on the safe side it's better to diversify your portfolio. I would invest 50% in Bitcoin and make it a long term HODL for a couple of years. Other 25% I would transfer for purchasing promising coins like Fusion (FSN) or Tezos (XTZ).. The remaining 25% I would invest into various ICO project; my picks are: Quark Chain, Merculet, Neonexchange

Sorry to hear that.. Recent market crash from January till April has destroyes a lot of portfolios as well. The best thing to do is to stick to your altcoins and wait for the time when market recovers. It may be difficult if all your money is only in crypto but that is the best strategy that insures you against losses. The market seems to start recovering now. Profits to all you, guys!!

As for me I would add Fusion (FSN) to your bag. It has all the chances to beat Wanchain. It is currently traded on Bibox, IDEX, Cobinhood. And soon will be added to Qryptos platform..

I believe most new-comers in crypto had a rough time from January and up till now, the time when the market was crashing. Watching Bitcoin fall from 20000$ to 6000$ is not an easy thing.
