Seems like coinmarket has removed the exchange!
Cryptocompare keeps listing ExtStock as top exchange based on volume for many pairs. I've written them and sent them the link to this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5209608.0 to urge them to report their fake data which allows users to fall into their trap. I got this really unsatisfying reply:

Quote
Hi Harold,

Thank you once again for your feedback.
Please note that its not a rank B, its D, and this is based on our internal evaluation.
None of these points that you wrote is solid evidence that the volume is fake.
We will keep monitoring the situation and if there is anything else that we can do for you, don't hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,
CryptoCompare team

Go sell your coin CryptoCompare and you'll see most buy orders are fake + for the extra you surely won't be able to withdraw your funds.
Maybe they have an advantageous deal they don't want to break.

Hello guys;
the same hepened to me, fortunately i only deposited  10$ because i didn't trust them actually since i saw all most all token in there exchange traded in high prices so it's weird, and i didn't send alot of funds.  any way i find a nother platfrom it's just launched about 40 days i think it's another huge scam since they are similar to old Hshocean i want you guys to pay attention, i did some searches and i find that they are running a bounty brogram so every positive review in Trustpilot (5 start review) you will get 0.5$, that's why when you search about this platfrom reviews you find hundreds of positive reviews and it's all fake, i chat with them pretending  i want to invest by buying Hashes so i told them i lost money in HashOcean and i'm afraid to go ahead they said " you can trust us " lol as simple as that, really? so 90% they will scam since they give a contract of 2 years and ROI 100% every month and that's imposiible, no information about this company not regestried. there platfrom is https://crypto-mining.biz/
if you guys have any information please share it!
God bless you all!

As stompix said their bank details could help investigating who are behind all this.
If you've deposited dollars to your account you must have their bank details, do you?
I don't and I guess most don't as it says I must have the qualified trader status (lol).

It would be huge help if someone could provide those bank details (could be through pm).

Dear Trader,

Unfortunately, our lawyers received a repeated Europol request to suspend your account transactions until the end of the proceedings.

We continue to participate in the investigation of your case. We sincerely hope that the situation will clear up this week.

Thank you for your patience.

Same (surely bullshit) story.
Next step is to call Europol because my local police not the more proactive one. I've called today unfortunately public holiday in Holland so they'll be back tomorrow.
I'll keep you informed.

Meanwhile we should let know everyone to stay away from ExtStock.

Got the same answers as nemo.
I also asked to talk to their lawyer, let's see what they say.

They have until the end of this week to show they're acting in good faith if they fail to do so they should be considered as scammers by the crypto community.

Update on the case:

ExtStock today's mail:

Quote
We seek legal advice to clarify exactly how we are required to contribute to Europol.
If your words are confirmed, your account will be restored.

We would like to reassure you that your funds are safe and will be returned immediately upon completion of this case.

my reply:

Quote
What do you mean by "If your words are confirmed, your account will be restored.".
I'm sorry but I've been extremely clear. If Europol could track down my bitcoin transaction and come back to you, they should also be able to see where it came from. As I said, it comes from directly from my Liquid and Coinbase accounts which are under MY name.
What could ever be suspicious in this? Again this makes no sense to me and shouldn't make much to you as well. I'm in constant contact with the American guy who is in the exact same situation as me and we both think the same.
If you're saying the truth, let me ask you: are you sure you're dealing with Europol?
It's time to act fast, you should get this solve by tomorrow if you want to avoid any trouble because you are buying you one week as best.

I still want daily updates about how the case is going and what you're doing to make it moving forward. It's been two weeks and it seems nothing has changed.
This is an urgent matter, I hope you realise this.

We've received a letter from a Romania Police Officer Nicolae Ciontescu.

That's what they said, as per your quote. Nicolae Ciontescu is 100% a Romanian name, I can assure you. If they would be registered in another country (no matter which one), what jurisdiction would have a Romanian policeman (remember a policeman, not the Romanian Police) to contact them?

Therefore, I assume they either are, or pretend to be Romanian, since they mentioned that Romanian name. And this is the shady aspect: why would be a Romanian company registered on another country? Why wouldn't it have an address or a phone number?

Yeah definitely that's the strange part and that's what made me create this topic. Agree 100% that it is extremely bizarre. What jurisdiction does this policeman have and how can my transaction suspicious if it's a transaction between different accounts on my name (can easily prove that).

All you were asked was to show proofs for your allegations, nothing else. Failing in doing so led, as you could already see, to flagging your account for scamming.

Regarding the fact that you say you are Romanian, can you prove that? Do you have a Romanian phone number / address?

It's a UK company. Well that's how they are registered at least. So they are not Romanian I believe.
They say that they are asking Europol for the permission to disclose some document and they say they are confident they will be able to.

If they're buying time they're not buying much at all.

Time has passes and I see the exchange didn't say anything anymore.

Meanwhile, Coolcryptovator flagged the exchange: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1009. Feel free to support it. I also mentioned the flag in the Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! topic.

Maybe DT members will also give them negative feedback.

This is all this forum can do... From now on the scammed members should file a Police report.

Yes, action has been taken on my end. I won't let them get away.
Their explanation makes absolutely no sense.

If this is true, can you post a proof on this matter? A Romanian member would be able to analyze if the documents received from the Romanian Police are authentic or not. Thus, it will be clear if the investigation really exists or not.

Agree

Dear Harold Terwagne,

Thank you for your requests.

We understand your concern and do our best to prove your involvement in criminal transactions.
Unfortunately, this will take some time. We cannot influence decisions on this case, but we will keep you informed.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

"to prove your involvement" lol

my unequivocal reply:

Quote
There is nothing to prove.
I can ask Coinbase and Liquid exchanges to certify that these bitcoins and that address do belong to me if screenshots aren't enough for you and for that "police officer".
And that I bought these bitcoins with fiat currency that came from my own and personal bank account.
This is as easy as that. I have got absolutely nothing to hide and that's obviously not a good news for you.
What kind of fraud could that be? Are you being serious with this -surely- fake police officer?
If there is some suspicions of fraud he should file a case against me and contact Belgian authorities not freezing funds without any reason.
I'm not afraid.
I will not give up. I need this money I will not give up and I'll make you regret to steal my funds.

Act NOW ExtStock.

why you deposited 6 btc? ( this is a big amount) why you not tested at first by sending 0.2 or less ?
i even not ask why you not googled and not looking some feedback about this scam exchanhe

AlexSimion and Vod right

they scammed you but anyway go to police

Yeah of course that was stupid. I should have sent a smaller amount. I've done that many times with other major exchanges and I guess I felt safer. I just don't understand why a major exchange would scam people when they get 1mio in fee per day.
Through google it doesn't appear as a scam exchange.

Thank you AlexSimion and Vod Smiley I'll do that if they don't let me withdraw within a  week.

Don't let ExtStock scam you.
Once you deposit crypto they won't let you withdraw and will invoke some fake police officer from Romania to justify their decision.
