Re: tokens.txt or tokenlist tokens.txt

I have a couple of words in my token list but i know the the password is more then X amount of words, so i can i tell btcrecover to only try combinations with 3 or more words (or combinations) in the passwords
You can simply add the commands --min-tokens and/or --max-tokens to your command line entry. So in your case, add the following to the end of your command:

Code:
--min-tokens 3

You can read more here: https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tokenlist_file/#token-counts
thanks i did this and tried it on a combination of 26million passwords and it only shaved off about 50k passwords?

I personally wouldn't invest in ripple for its tech. Gains yes but not tech. Litecoin i e would infest for both gains amd tech. I hate the centralisation that surrounds ripple. It goes against everything that crypto was intended for in my opinion

Re: Will Bitcoin's Lightning Network destroys alt coins(currencies)?

I dont think it will destory alt coins at all. Other alt coins offer different solutions with in the crypto currency space. There is so much variety that one coin cant solve it all.

Whales are playing and are trying to accumalate as much bitcoin as they can before the next bull run. Unfortunately they have the biggest say and we have to wait for them to stop playing

All you need to do is hodl and stop stressing. The amount of people actaully involved in crypro is so minimal compared to what it will be when its mass adopted. Sell now and then stress then becuase you didnt hodl or didnt buy Smiley

I dont understand how people can still try and predict bitcoin. Ffs there has been such movement over the last 6 to 12 months. It is such a grey area right now. I highly doubt it will take 2 years to recover

Re: Market can be manipulated?
by
RichardBTC

of course the market can be manipulated, i dont think we realize of few people hold majority of bitcoin. Only until these gold piles are diluted will bitcoin become more stable and obviously not so volatile. Its actually quiet a shame because people making money are actually making money from noobs joining the crypto world for the first time and then bam they lose everything.

Re: Best way to find new cryptos
by
RichardBTC
on 20/06/2018, 18:25:41 UTC
I would say the best way to find the best new coins is

1) youtube, follow some big names in crypto youtube and see what everyone is talking about.
2) join telegram groups and see what everyone is talking about
3) check bitcoin talk announcement thread
4) check top gainers on coin market cap

Happy hunting Wink

Re: can bitcoin would actually be overthrown?
by
RichardBTC
on 19/06/2018, 04:00:03 UTC
Bitcoin will always be there because of 1 thing..  There is no devs to alter any supply of bitcoin. Bitcoin works and cannot be manipulated in anyway. That makes it pretty unique in the crypro space.

I dont think there will be a currency to replace bitcoin. And i really hope this as well.

by

I dont think icos will ever die... There are so many ideas and use cases for cryptocurrencies. I think this is just the very begining and it will become even bigger as mass adoption starts happening
