I can feel your pain. The flood is something else. My friends have to leave their houses even there is no road to crossover to continue your journey. But as an individual can u really change it? We u can if u have a strong backup and force but can't if u are all alone. Nigerian Government will not deny the fact that they were not aware that the flood will occur because National Weather service forecaster do give all necessary info about that. Also within these forecasters solutions to remedy this situation has been presented in one way or the other yet they didn't value it because human lives means nothing to them.
My own suggestion is allow the government to seek for the right remedy from the subject themselves then u gather ur and send. If not u are just thinking in vain because they won't value it.

Full time is assigned to crypto because of the ways the economy is today. The people in the government prefer to do selection and retain their seat and position even as they grow old while children in nursery, primary and secondary school are busy singing that they are leaders of tomorrow, yet the old men can give room for the young leaders to rule.
Look at Educational system in Nigeria, they say "education is the key" yet the government changed the padlock and took the key turning education to scam for younger minds in the country.
Infact what is the joy celebrating independence when we are still in captivity. The independence isn't wroth celebrating because there is no joy.

Drugs when abused serves as stumbling blocks to positive ambitions. Government, communities and parents have alot to do to curb drug abuse. But the work should start from parent because charity begins at home. Parents must have an idea of these drugs that are abused, the effects of the drugs including the signs and symptoms exhibited by people who abuse drugs. They also need to observant, create time for heart to heart discussions with their children as this will enable them observe they closely, avoid stigmatization and been high handed that could harden the hearts of their children who are victims of drug abuse but rather develop and provide a compassionate grounds for corrections .
The community also has alot to do because it serves as the environment where the abusers grow up. The community has to work hand in hand with the parents and the government to make sure that the strategies mapped out can be achieved. they can do this by giving approval for  interventions to be held, volunteering there facilities, personnels and resources to initiate change.
The government on the other hand should to mention a few enforce laws that will ban or restrict drugs illicit drugs and  empower agencies that will do so inoder to prevent bribery.

Financial education in indeed necessary to inculcate at a prime age because it will help children understand and use their financial skills effective both in management, budgeting, saving, investing and also in giving. But I think this financial education is imbibed in most subjects taught in schools such as business studies, social studies and well as civic education.
