Hey there fellas.
Haven't been here for a while and just noticed that so-called Russian has become a moderator of this section. Things are so bad here that Russians aren't only not banned but are allowed to moderate serious topics by the standards of this forum?

Invest in your education. That is investment with best returns...

You can apply for Coursera courses for example.

Second this clever senior.
It's never too late to get some education. Now you have the opportunity to get almost any education or al least some new knowledge without leaving your home. Even if you don't become a certified specialist new knowledge will never be superfluous.

Re: Sell bounty token at a loss?
by
Risoruni
on 28/10/2018, 19:24:06 UTC
when I get a token from the bounty campaign I will hold the token that I have until the price of the token reaches at least the ICO price because I want to get maximum results and I know when sold at the price when I just registered in the market will lose because it will definitely exposed to dumps by other bounty campaign participants.

This is the right strategy and I try to stick the same. However, sometimes there are cases when coin after dump is not recover and will not be recovered in the future since the project is dead.
So you never know what to do in this or that case.

First let me warn you against buying on the advice of strangers.
I'm not ready to put money on it, but there're persistent rumors that XRP will show good growth by the end of the year. I decided to risk even there're no special prerequisites.

Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies?

On the one hand, fraudulent ICO can seriously affect the reputation of a famous person. So I hope his/her assistants explained the essence of the project at least in few words.
On the other hand, the presence of a famous person doesn't affect the potential success/fail of the project, since he/she doesn't take part in it except promotion.

Re: Why Most ICOs Sales are Failing?
by
Risoruni
on 27/10/2018, 08:32:17 UTC
To my knowledge, I learned a lot about ICO last year and this year. If and in 2017 with a project no matter what you do about it, I'm sure it's easy to hit the soft-cap. Now, after investors understand the ICO more and more, they do not easily spend money on a project, they patience to learn and when they know it is not good, they will not invest in it.

I assume that the problem is not quite that. In 2017 there was no such amount of fraudulent ICOs.
Now there are some statistics that potential investors are probably viewing, and it is disappointing. So I'm for tight regulation in this field.

Re: Project without team members

I believe that if someone asks you for money online without showing their identity-it is 100% fraud.

On the other hand, if you know the team members, there is still no certainty that the project will be successful.
Nowadays there is nothing difficult to impersonate another person, especially on the Internet.

Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters.
by

on 24/10/2018, 09:47:46 UTC
The main problem of kyc in bounty is the team says about kyc after all work done. It is really cheating. I never go through a campaign which asks kyc.

That's a problem especially if you participated for 3-4 months. In this case you have two ways: pass the KYC or just leave campaign without any tokens.
Managers and the company insure themselves by pointing out that the rules may change any time. So if at the beginning there was no KYC it may appear at the end.

Re: Why is Russian President "Putin" talking about world war 3 ??
by
Risoruni
on 24/10/2018, 09:03:43 UTC
I think it is necessary to clarify the situation a bit.
Firstly, there will be no nuclear war because every Russian official (I mean EVERY) has real estate in the US or his kids studying in the US or his money in the US banks or his ex-wife lives in the US and I can continue.
Secondly, everything Putin says is designed for the local public. All this is solely to distract people from real problems.

Re: Use case of anonymous coins?
by

on 22/10/2018, 15:10:51 UTC
Its not only about those use that you are thinking, everyone who wants to remain anonymous when purchasing online that's all.

That's not about illegal use but its just someone that wants to remain private.

Agree.
Anonymity doesn't mean that user plans to engage in criminal activity. Anonymity is important for those who want to protect their identity under any circumstances.

There are also some exceptions that work if you're lucky enough.
I know a few people who versed in cryptocurrency even less than me, which doesn't prevent them from successfully trading.
But don't try this at home.

Re: December is coming no real growth for alts yet...

We all became pessimists here watching this sad market situation.
But a few days ago there was news that one of the largest investment funds in the world, Fidelity Investments, announced creating a platform that will become some kind of door for the organization’s clients in cryptocurrency. I find this news extremely positive because they manages $6.9 trillion of assets globally and funds like this don't enter the new market without assessing the situation first.
So fingers crossed!

Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency?
by
Risoruni
on 21/10/2018, 15:19:59 UTC
It's usually recommended to keep your funds in different coins. If on one of them you lose due to price drop, then the other/others may override these losses.
Holding everything in one coin makes sense when you have reliable information about its rapid growth.

Re: When to turn away from a KYC process
by
Risoruni
on 21/10/2018, 07:29:49 UTC
On the one hand I would never submit my personal informations for eg. bounties or airdrops. Chances are high that the info will be missused. On the other it may actually be a good sign if an ICO requires KYC, especially if there is a aerious, long lasting company behind the ICO.

Don't quite understand how it is may actually be a good sign.
Absolutely not important so serious company looks from the outside. Even if you spent time researching it and found it appropriate there is always a chance that you will fall for scammers.

Re: Exchange Security Ratings and Ranking
by

In general, you shouldn't trust such ratings as well as different icos ratings because they don't mean anything.
Nowadays you can buy yourself a place in almost any rating, so it makes no sense to pay attention to them.

Re: More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM.
by
Risoruni
on 18/10/2018, 19:05:15 UTC
Absolutely agree with you. Now it is difficult to distinguish good ICO from SCAM. Scammers keep pace with the times.

I agree, I’m even having a hard time picking a good bounty campaign since 2018 has started. They’re more likely scams. It’s either they’ll extend for a long period of time or won’t give any rewards.
You must visit the bounty platform called Bountyhive. Most of their participants are satisfied with what they are getting fro the bounty they participated in Bountyhive. Also, their projects has low probability of turning out to be a scam.

Doesn’t sound very realistic tbh. You mean there no scam at all? How come?
Campaigns premoderated or how do they get rid of potentially fraudulent ones?

Re: Which company do you trust the most with your data?
by
Risoruni
on 18/10/2018, 18:52:04 UTC
Facebook probably is one of the last companies to trust.
You can't even imagine how many companies collect your data right at this moment. This concerns not only advertising as we know from the Cambridge Analytica case.
All you can do is reduce the amount of information collected, but for this you have to sacrifice a lot of things that you use every day.

Re: Did bounty hunters really get token for free?
by
Risoruni
on 16/10/2018, 06:38:16 UTC
Bounty hunters are ordinary workers who receive money for ICO advertising. They get paid for their work, but for a reason.

Too bad that some companies doesn't realize this and consider the distribution of tokens as a gift to the participants. it really annoys me but there is nothing to do about it.
