I think that Bitcoin has, in the mean while, gained traders' confidence. Therefore, it is though to threaten Bitcoin's existence while it has polished up the market of digital decentralized payment system. The least effect that too many Altcoins can do is to denigrate the market coverage of Bitcoin for a certain period, but Bitcoin won't take a long to recover its market coverage.
Although too many Altcoins cannot become a threat to Bitcoin, it scams are a greater threat while the more there are scams in Bitcoin, the more traders will lose their confidence on Bitcoin. Therefore, it should be under shield to reduce scams and strengthen its market coverage. Taking steps to reduce the number of scams will popularize Bitcoin in a great extent. So, Bitcoin's future depends on the reduction of the number of scams that are causing people lose their confidence on Bitcoin.

There are many possibilities for the part of Bitcoin to become mainstream in the next ten years. In fact, Bitcoin is on the way to be mainstream while people are rushing to know about Bitcoin although most of the people don't have any idea about Bitcoin. It's difficult to say whether other crypto can replace bitcoin or not while both of them have polished up a strong base in the market. Therefore, we can say, for sure, that there may not be any chances for the part of crypto to beat Bitcoin. However, as the future of the Bitcoin and Crypto market is all unknown, there may be change in the future, but it should not occur in the next ten or 15 years. Actually, they both have earned so established a foundation in the market that, probably none of them is capable of beating each other. If you come to know them, probably you must say so.

I won’t say whether crypto currency can succeed or not rather I would like to ask you why cryptocurrency won't succeed.  In fact, it has already gained success and would see more successive future while people in this era prefer digital decentralized global payment system to manual payment system. I think it’s natural in investment. People who can’t know about crypto and without research they invest and get scrams that’s why they leave this market. There is so many scammers they offer ICO with attractive profit people without investigate or without research on them they invest and get scrams.
There is so many scammers which makes it more difficult to find a good project. Investors are just afraid of being abandoned. There have fake and fraudulent projects, some projects use a fake document and some do not give a good token.
Some ICO prices are much higher then when the list is on the stock exchange but after that they can’t reaches their goals and they scams. actually better to discuss how to find good ICO than this topic that you create OP another thing we see a lot of users, traders and investors here in forum like many campaigns running here so that's the example of many people that taking risk if the project is good enough for investment.

There some altcoin are shams and they have no real life product except few. Cryptocurrency world is most competitive market there are so many altcoin doing their business but most of them become unsuccessful and wipe out from the market. most of all altcoin are worthless and really cannot do anything or solve a certain problem.
Only few coins have a real solution for a real problem and in addition most of the other's coin has little to no use cases.  There is a logic that nobody can dominate any market or anyone can rule alone, as bitcoin can’t rule alone. Because cannot be impossible to carry out the crypto market without altcoin. If Bitcoin survive then of course altcoin will survive because bitcoin need of altcoin if bitcoin wanted to survive. But it’s true all altcoin won’t survive who has no good vision. All the altcoin’s targets are not the same.

I think that altcoins are already very important in the crypto world. Take for example the same Ethereum. As you rightly pointed out, alternative cryptocurrencies compete with Bitcoin and thus make it develop. It's hard to say whether a currency will be more important than the BTC. Bitcoin price is high everybody can’t have enough money to buy bitcoin their first choice is altcoin or token. Sometimes they work as bounties so that he can earn some token and later he can exchanged with bitcoin.
Everybody’s target is bitcoin that’s way bitcoin price is high, Its quite impossible to replace altcoin instead of bitcoin. Do you think any mobile can replace instead of Iphone? It quite impossible. There has many mobile in the market but Iphone is exceptional that’s why it took the market. Like this Bitcoin is the pioneer and till now have in leading position in cryptocurrency market, Last 9 years nobody can beat him. Altcoin would be as important but it would take time.

Individuals make money in cryptocurrency in different ways some make money by providing value for others in exchange for cryptocurrency some are making money by work of bounty campaign and some others making money by illegal ways. Its depend upon you. There are many way to earn money. Your friend want get in crypto? then welcome. He can get into this business but before start this business he advice let the pay his debt. Because crypto market is no predictable and isn’t sure success it’s high risk too invest. In this people how many people study in economics but they are successful in economic sectors. But if you know economics then it’s your advantage. Finance helps us to spend our money in right way.
  People who know finance he can understand about bond, stock, derivatives enormously especially the corporate finance. Economics is very important when it comes to money management and invests your money into the market. Until studying a course like economics not a lot of people are aware of how the world works, including industries, businesses and governments. So people buy coin at downtrend, People have many strategies, some bad people spread panic so that weak hearted people will sell their coin in low price then they will buy those at low price.
