GPU-Z PowerDraw and memory speeds:

Sapphire Nitro+ RX470 8GB: 119W - Memory Clock 2000 MHz (stock)
Sapphire Nitro+ RX470 4GB: 116W - Memory Clock 1750 MHz (stock)

Just running stock for now.
Afterburner and the AMD settings app won't let me change the Memory Clock over 2000/1750 MHz.

I have both RX 470's working now (4GB and 8GB) with latest Claymore's Dual miner.
Running it in ETH mode only atm, but both are mining without crashes.

8GB card is running at 24.xx Mh/s (drivers v16.8.1)
4GB card is running at 22.xx Mh/s (drivers v16.7.3)

-tried dual mode ETH+Decred:

Decred speeds:
8GB card is running at 369 Mh/s
4GB card is running at 321 Mh/s

Both Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470's at stock speeds.

I'm having a bit of trouble finding info on how to fix my problem.

I can mine fine on my RX 470 8GB.
My RX 470 with 4GB refuses to mine cause it has insufficient memory?

Using ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.1.7 on Win 10 with Radeon-Crimson-16.7.3-Win10-64Bit.

I tried looking for parameters but I'm having a hard time finding any information on how to set it all up.

On my working 8GB card I use something like this:
" ethminer -SP 2 -G -S pooladdress:port -O wallet.user:pass "

Any idea what parameters to use to mine with my 4GB card ? Or any link with all available parameters? The mining files come with no help file or readme

Haven't touched the 4gb card for mining since the weekend (launched NiceHashMiner and it just crashes windows during any benchmark test).
Also haven't measured power usage on my 8GB card. Last time I checked my watt meter was way off when I tried to see how much my old KNC Jupiter used.

I just had a look for these instructions you're talking about ...
And either I am blind or there is just about NO instructions anywhere to be found.

Everyone just posts their speeds and hardware... not command line parameters to be found anywhere ... (or they are super old and don't work).

ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.1.x post says you can mine with 2GB card ... I can't even get my 4GB card to mine ..
But others are mining fine? What parameters are they using? Can't find any info ...

I have 2 Radeon RX 470 cards, a 4GB and an 8GB one.

The 4GB one refuses to mine, saying it has insufficient memory when I load ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.1.7

The 8GB one mines (DaggerHashimoto) ETH at 23MH/s.

My card is the Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ OC 8GB, mem clock speed is at 2000 MHz, Core clock 1260 MHz.


Not sure why my 4GB Sapphire Nitro+ won't mine it .. as many people mine with 4GB or less ... weird.

And we're back to 1 sat sell order ...

That 1 satoshi buy order tho :/

Been solo mining since block 171, seen the network hashrate go from my own speed to 228+MH/s but don't seem to have any luck getting anything :/
Hope the pools are working soon or I'm out.

My 0.0022 seed staked 0.00001 yesterday. But today my wallet keeps saying i don't have mature coins.

Suchpool is taking its time posting my mined coins to me.

Yes I'm using wallet 1.0.4.0

I had my miner run till block 10100 then switched it off.
I had to wait x hours for all my shares to confirm and then I send them to my wallet.
But I think this will take a while to happen with the reduced rate at which things are confirming.

There's some seed in my wallet from earlier in the week tho
