I am not targeting any religion, but I am Muslim and I thought maybe some Muslim members might be promoting betting websites, maybe it could be haram earning.
As I already mentioned that I am it targeting any religion. In our religion betting is a big sin and in signature many websites are Betting. So maybe some Muslim are earning from these compaigns.
I don't know if betting is haram in Christianity or not?

Re: Learn And Earn Through Bitcoin Investment.

In life you must learn, from Pre-Nursary to College (Tertiary level) and when you have learned, you removed the  "L" from Learn and use the remaining word "Earn". Every learner aim to earn at the end of his learning. I am still learning in the forum.

Where did you earn from bitcoin? It is the investment of bitcoin, though there are others too. When you invest in bitcoin and hopefully you must earn from it in the long run. I am on the DCA investment of bitcoin and my investment is for long term and not short term so I can remove the L from the learning process and keep the E in the earning process.I have invested more than $600. And these are some of my investment in this year.

Ok man but you are investing so small and you cannot lear and also earn.
I will say invest at least 100 dollars to earn and also learn.....
That's my opinion what will happen.

Re: How do we know there are actually only 21M BTC?
by
Ruhila7
on 07/04/2025, 05:32:07 UTC
Sorry for clickbaity title, obviously there will only be 21M BTC.

But with more banks, institutions, and CEXs trying to custody the BTC and creating ETFs, options, and perhaps other derivatives in the future, how can we be sure there won't be an "infinite" supply of these synthetic "shares" of BTC?

I have a feeling the mass adopters will ultimately trust big banks to custody their BTC for them especially if some yield bearing instruments become popular. I fear the banks may engage in shady behavior to manipulate prices further.

Thoughts?

I only became aware of what synthetic shares are by studying how GME investors have explained how the stock markets actually work. This is all related to BTC in the sense that I'm trying to see how to play $GME as it transitions to MSTR 2.0, but the synthetic shares for GME is interesting....wondering if this is possible for BTC and IBIT etc.
That's for sure a clickbait. You know contract address where it is locked supply for 21 million and it cannot be increased or decreased because it can only decreases by sending to null address.

You are right first I thought that's not true and than I monitor stock market especially gold and when gold dumps than crypto market also dumps. So this is somehow not fair.

Re: As a bitcoin enthusiast is every dip worth buying?
by
Ruhila7
on 07/04/2025, 05:28:35 UTC
Many will say DCA is their strategy. This DCA strategy of a thing is only for those who  have huge capital or an amount that is sufficient for them to ignore and possibly has other sources of income in that the can choose to neglect what ever the market does and focus on their other stream of income.

Now for an average investor, one who is hoping to take profit soon, I don't mean those who have enough to spare.  It's best we don't lead people into regrets and pains with our contributions. Not everyone can afford to buy at intervals.

As we all can see for the past two to three months the market has not chosen a direction, it is neither buying or selling and some persons are waiting to take profit it price rises a little. So my question is judging by the range market we currently experience is it every dip and average Bitcoin investor should buy?
Buying dip is good but still if there is a bearish season than you can avoid. I will say always DCA is good to know and also your financial conditions too. Be cautious by the way.

Miners are dead now a days. Because mining is tough and single miner cannot earn. So will say if you invest 1 million dollars dollars for mining than you might generator your APR In 5 to 10 years and after that all will be profit.

Re: Crypto market manipulation by the government to cover budget deficit!

Donald Trump and Elon Musk are only part of this year's bull market; the FOMO surrounding them will fade and be replaced by someone else.  In fact, politics can have an impact on a variety of factors, including the cryptocurrency market, equities, and so on.  After all, market manipulation has been discussed frequently, so it's not surprising.  The most important thing is for each investor and holder to be realistic about the future and not put all of their eggs in one basket.

Re: [POLL] Do you know or use Bitcoin Lighting Network?
by

I've utilized the Lightning Network a few times to send small sums of bitcoin.  But, to be really honest, most people I talk to have no idea what it is.  They're all stuck on buying and hoarding bitcoin.  So, at least here, lightning is barely on anyone's radar.  That's a great shame, if you ask me.  I have a hunch the experiment was a flop.

Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻
by
Ruhila7
on 07/04/2025, 05:12:57 UTC
That's how it is! This announcement was left for the end of the 2021 Bitcoin Conference with the participation of Jack Mallers.
Among the most impressive that helped me understand why bitcoin will be the currency that will lead the country of El Salvador is this.

Quote
"Over 70% of the active population of El Salvador doesn't have a bank account. They're not in the financial system." -Jack Mallers

https://twitter.com/TheBitcoinConf/status/1401279373223866369?s=19

At the conference the president of El Salvador makes the announcement.

Quote
President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele: "Next week I will send to congress a bill that will make #bitcoin a legal tender."

https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1401279550538108933?s=19
El slavedar is small county and that's why it's not big impact on crypto as I think. If there are 1.5 billion people that are not crypto than it will be good for crypto community. So let's hope for the best.

Re: Is it possible to buy a house with BTC in your country?
by
Ruhila7
on 07/04/2025, 05:11:33 UTC
In some countries, you can buy or rent a house in bitcoins. But what are the tax and administrative implications?

In France, you can, in theory, buy with BTC, but you have to pay taxes and notary fees in euros.

Since you also have to pay capital gains tax and (unless I'm mistaken) prove the origin of the bitcoins. Justifying the origin of funds when you won cryptos with games or airdrops and then sold them to buy btc 15 years ago is almost certainly impossible.
In the end, it doesn't seem so attractive to buy in btc in France because of the administrative and tax complications, in addition to the 30% capital gains tax (unless I'm mistaken).

How is it in your country ?

Same repetitive questions. Still crypto is not fully acceptable. In our country many people are illetrate and they also do not accept digital payments, still in our country that's not going to happen.

Re: My friend thought TRUMP would be 500 dollars before trump presidency
by

on 07/04/2025, 05:06:59 UTC
My friend invested $100 in the TRUMP token, which was worth $56 at the time.  However, he was optimistic that the token would soar to more than $500 before the election.

Well lets just say he was thriving based on self sensation estimating potential values of the coin without being sure of the coin market liquidation may become in the future.
It's really hard to determine a reliable potential values of a coin when it hasn't officially been listed in the exchange.
So I think that your friend was really dreaming with the expectation. As much as I know, the $trump coin accumulated values around the corners of president Trumps inauguration after the US election.
So your friend was only anticipating and was ignorant to understand how easily manipulative meme coins could be.
He bought in spot and that's why he might have not got liquidated though. I will say that memes are memes and trade with care.

My friend invested $100 in the TRUMP token, which was worth $56 at the time.  However, he was optimistic that the token would soar to more than $500 before the election.  Unfortunately, the token's value has declined significantly, and it is now selling at around $10.  Even if the initial forecast was not met, the friend was able to break even and avoid losses.  It is crucial to consider the unpredictable nature of token price and the volatility of cryptocurrency exchanges.
Predicting the current price of TRUMP.  According to certain projections, the TRUMP token's price could rise by 226.74% to $33.52 by April 28, 2025.  However, the Fear & Greed Index shows a score of 26 (Fear), reflecting a negative outlook.
