Re: Before trading know this about cryptocurrency

As long as you keep trading in a volatile market, losses are uncontrollable. There are even times that no matter how positive your trades are, that you anticipate for a good trading outcome, but still end up losing due to sudden market changes. That’s how unpredictable trading is.

The only key here, never trade if you aren’t prepared to lose. And once you lose, make sure those amount aren’t essential for you. Otherwise, you will ruin your finances without even having chances to gain profits from trading.

I’d say take that -7.5 early because there’s a good chance it goes up to -10.5 before tipoff.

Good luck, everyone. This SMB spread feels like a sure win.

I hope they cover though, and just as predicted, the line is slowly moving up as it’s already at -8.5 and there’s still over 12 hours left before the game. Looks like it could really climb to -10.5. Thanks, and good luck to you too... hopefully, we’re on the same side here.

Re: John McAfee and his $100k to $1 million prediction
by

Sad that he wasn’t able to witness it happen. While he did predict that price would eventually be reached, it’s worth noting that aside from the $100k prediction, he also made other forecasts back in 2017, and not all of them were accurate.

Professional gadfly John McAfee made headlines in July 2017 when he predicted that the price of Bitcoin would rise to $500,000 within three years.

It’s been three years since that prediction, and while Bitcoin finally hit the $100k level, we still haven’t seen the $500k he predicted, so he was wrong on that one.

Re: Should I depend solely on Bitcoin?
by

on 24/07/2025, 22:04:13 UTC
Even the highly successful bitcoin investors these days have learned to diversify their investments, which only proves that bitcoin alone is not dependable still.
That applies if you have enough money to invest, but if you're aiming for higher returns, then high-risk investments are the way to go. Some investors still choose to diversify, but they do it within the market itself , for example, they might put 50% of their portfolio in bitcoin (less risky asset), and then spread the rest across different altcoins (high-risk assets).

So that’s how it went, if Game 5 was “meant” for TNT to win, then I think the script flips next game and SMB takes it. Game 6 is already tomorrow and the spread opened at -7.5 for SMB. A bit higher considering TNT just won, so this line clearly suggests SMB is expected to bounce back hard. I’d say take that -7.5 early because there’s a good chance it goes up to -10.5 before tipoff.

Last game was low-scoring, but i have a feeling this time it’ll go over, especially if SMB dominates.

The total is set at 192.5.. I think that’ll be broken if SMB dictates the pace.

Re: Does covering user withdrawal fees work better for casinos?
by
Russlenat
on 24/07/2025, 13:12:11 UTC
There are probably only a few casinos now that offer free withdrawals, but I don’t really see it as a big issue as long as the fees aren’t overcharged like some exchanges do.

Especially with Bitcoin, network fees are pretty cheap now, so paying something like 0.001 BTC for a withdrawal would be way too much. I’ve heard exchanges charge that before. With casinos though, I usually gamble using USDT, and the fees are just around $1, which is very reasonable.

Re: Has El Salvador been lying to the world?

But regardless, the fact that El Salvador made Bitcoin legal tender before, even with the pressure from the IMF to reverse it, is already a big move. They’ve also been buying Bitcoin consistently, which is impressive since no other country has really done that.

Maybe they weren’t fully honest about everything, but to me, that’s not a big deal.
Their contribution to pushing crypto forward outweighs that.

Re: 2025 NBA Season
by

Dame is back in Portland, and so is Chris Paul, he's back with the Clippers. He expressed a desire to play near his home. Although the Clippers' lineup is somewhat old, honestly, if the team stays healthy, they still have a shot. Just look at their last playoff appearance, they took the series to Game 7 against the Nuggets. Although they didn’t make it, they still played well. Now, they’ve got Beal and Lopez, thanks to Harden taking a pay cut.
I’m really optimistic that they’ll finally make it to the NBA Finals this time,  I didn’t even know CP3’s back with the Clippers.. I’m actually happy for him. He was a big name there back in the day with DeAndre and Blake Griffin. It would be great to see him finally win a ring, same with James Harden. The Clippers are fully stacked now, all they need is to stay healthy.

Re: Trading business vs. gambling business in crypto
by
Russlenat
on 20/07/2025, 21:56:18 UTC

But in crypto, is it the other way around? Are casinos making more money than trading platforms?

The gambling market is actually bigger than the trading market. That’s why some businesses end up shifting or expanding their business into casinos, 'cause they can’t really compete with the big players in trading.

With casinos, the market is wider and it’s not as heavily regulated, so it’s easier to run. And, unlike trading where you only earn from fees, in gambling you’re the house, you’re playing against the players, and with that edge, the profit can be way bigger.

That’s why I didn’t hesitate to take the spread, currently at -6.5. Hoping SMB wins by double digits again. And as usual, Williams will be gassed out.  Cheesy

Good luck… TNT had a strong start again, 11-2, but it’s still early so can’t really say they got this.

Right now SMB is at 2.10 on the live odds, solid value if anyone’s looking to back them to win tonight.
Still no Erram, same lineup from Game 3, so I’m kinda expecting the same outcome.
Erram actually played, but you can tell he wasn’t 100%. I thought my bet was safe after seeing that strong 2nd quarter run by SMB, they had a solid lead and looked in control. But then in the 3rd quarter, TNT flipped the momentum and took the lead. Still, SMB didn’t let them even the series. They bounced back in the 4th, stuck with their usual starters, and closed it out strong. In the end, a dominant win by SMB and yeah, my bet cashed (spread covered).

Re: Banning gambling, would this solve the problem?
by
Russlenat
on 20/07/2025, 14:38:52 UTC
A boy stole from his parent and wasted all the money on gambling, when he was asked why he said he wanted to make his parents proud of him, the money was meant for their one year house bill. The kid thought he was doing the right thing all along.

I was there to confuse them that the kid aim was never to hurt the parent, this happened in 2023, if I was not there I am sure the dad would have taken his anger on the child.
In this case, it’s really the parents’ responsibility to monitor their kids and they failed to do that, which is why the kids were able to gamble in the first place. you can’t just blame the casino they’re just doing their marketing like any other business.

you know, if they’re regulated, they’ll follow the rules set by the authorities, but sometimes, there are people who still find ways to gamble even if they’re not allowed or not capable.  That’s why stuff like this happens.

Re: How is wealth distributed through Gambling
by
Russlenat
on 20/07/2025, 11:31:14 UTC
From the start, it's already wrong. the poor shouldn't be losing money in gambling just to make the operators rich. that goes against the basic principle of "gamble only what you can afford to lose." If you say someone is poor, it means they’re already struggling financially so they don’t have that kind of freedom to gamble.

But the sad part is, they still do. And yeah, the government collects taxes from casinos, but does that mean the issue of poor people getting addicted to gambling isn’t a problem? Of course it is. So if you really think about it, the money the government earns from gambling doesn’t seem to be helping the people who need it the most.

Re: [Boxing] Mario Barrios vs Manny Pacquiao WBC Welterweight Title - July 19
by

To sum up here this is the report on how much money earned by both Pacquaio and Barrios https://www.sportingnews.com/us/boxing/news/manny-pacquiao-vs-mario-barrios-purses-salaries-2025-fight/e4da02f98c7d4c50579f2658
Pacman still earned way more here, even if he’s not the champ and that’s expected since he’s the one pulling the crowd, you can even hear the fans chanting “Manny! Manny!” the whole time. The support is still there, And even though he didn’t get the win, since it ended in a draw, a rematch would make things even more exciting. This time, people won’t have any doubts anymore.

💰 Base price starts at 15 BTC — but custom deals can be discussed depending on scope & interest.

You’re selling this for $1.7 million? Good luck with that...

Honestly though, I don’t think anyone can beat the casinos even with a tool like this. If you really believe this thing works, why even bother selling it? Wouldn’t it make more sense to just use it yourself and keep making money?

Re: Over £30k stuck in bc.game account, can't pass advanced KYC. What now?

I played in UK using VPN, deposits and withdrawals fine til now. Should have done my research, and now I can't upload UK documents to verify myself.

Is there any action I can take to get this money? Any forums where I could sell the account? Could I move countries and pass it that way?
I think they don’t have a license in the UK, so what you’re doing is basically using a VPN to get around the restriction. Now that they’re asking for documents, you can’t provide legit ones because your location doesn’t match what you submitted. From the start, you already knew it wasn’t allowed, so this might just be the consequence of that. You’d honestly be lucky if BC Game still releases your money, but if they hold it, they have legal grounds for it.

Re: BTC as means of payment is a looking more possible than before?
by
Russlenat
on 19/07/2025, 12:57:47 UTC
I don’t think bitcoin can handle such high load unless people use lightning network. Is it possible? Yes, but so far businesses aren’t showing LN any love.

So far, this looks like the best solution to make Bitcoin more acceptable as a payment method. But there's still one big issue, volatility. Some people might still be discouraged to use it because of that. Unlike USDT, which is a stablecoin, you don’t have to worry about price swings. That basically removes the risk. So yeah, with that in mind, I don’t really see Bitcoin being feasible for wider daily use.

Re: Crypto Betting vs FIAT Betting
by
Russlenat
on 19/07/2025, 11:05:24 UTC
I dont think so they are struggling with the crypto betting because before they are the well known and not all the people are aware with the crypto and how to navigate and operate it so I don't see they are losing against on it, another thing here is they are just offering with the same services and events so still its just seems usual like with the crypto. Just recently people choose where to bet with a higher number of rewards, rebate and bonuses of course most of the player want to feel in favor with them the odds of the casino.
Crypto betting is really convenient nowadays, especially with how popular crypto has become. The growing number of casinos also makes the competition better, which is great for us players.

If I had to choose, I’d still go with crypto betting, even if it’s starting to feel a bit like fiat casinos because of the KYC requirements imposed by the government. But it is what it is. At least we’re still in the crypto space, and we should continue supporting the crypto industry as a whole.
