I almost held a position in Electra on the other small exchange that was trading it known as coinhouse.eu. But I changed my mind when I saw red flags.

This is completely my own theory and opinion and should not be taken as fact.

I believe that Electra coin is a scam and the people behind it used their new found coin wealth to create the coinsmarkets.com trading site. They used a lot of hyp and marketing on Twitter, Youtube, Reddit and their own Telegram chat group to make people believe they were preparing for some kind of technology release.

Their objective has been to steal as much Bitcoin from people as possible by using a mix of the fake exchange and fake tech coin/ fake hype.

The coinhouse.eu another small exchange launched recently, I do believe this is a legitimate exchange and they gave me successful withdrawal on my Bitcoins. However that exchange is very new and obviously still a risk.

Of course it's possible that Coinsmarkets is not a scam and just run by really incompetent developers, in which case it would not have been too difficult for competent hackers to break in and steal all the cryptocurrency. An occurrence that WOULD be consistent with the DDOS attacks suffered by them.

Interestingly.. I believe they had Cloudflare setup to protect the server from DDOS attacks which leads me to believe the DDOS was likely directed towards a non HTTP service running on their server.

Hackers like to DDOS sites while they conduct their attack because it makes it harder for sysadmins to login and stop the attack not to mention they would have got bombarded with customer complaints to deal with at the same time.

Yeh it's been reversing it's way to $1. All the way from 70 sats to 40 sats on Coinhouse. Guys I wouldn't trust what anyone says about Electra the scamcoin. I don't think Coinhouse has anything to do with Electra though as they gave me back my coins

By the way anyone could fork any of the existing fast cryptocurrencies and then claim to have some amazing tech, don't trust them!!

This exchange is not a scam I got all my Bitcoin back, sorry for the negative posts. As I promised I am going to edit out all the negative posts as I don't want to hurt your reputation.

The exchange interface is quite nice too, I just really hate Electra coin and that made me worried about the exchange, but don't worry guys. Even if something didn't work well it's not going to lose your coins just they still improving it.

Funny how some people are not even receiving their coins and some are. Coinhouse I'm telling you guys if you don't give me back my BTC your reputation as an exchange will suffer. I run a very popular Youtube channel about cryptocurrencies. I haven't mentioned your exchange yet but if I don't get back my BTC I will be talking about my experience on there.

If you can return this BTC to me, then you will get a glowing review from me about your exchange and I'll edit every single negative post in this thread to become a positive post. If not, the opposite can happen.

Please, I suggest you make a careful consideration- 0.034 BTC is a small amount, but your exchange's reputation is worth more than 0.034 BTC right? It's an easy decision.

Actually I'm a programmer too, I would happily be willing to join your team help you recover all these bugs and make a great exchange. That is my offer for you if you need help. I don't think my BTC is 'lost in the ether' it's somewhere in your exchange you just need to find it

Just an update on the situation. I had made two BTC withdrawals and the smaller one was sent, larger one wasn't. The larger withdrawal was worth almost $600. I need an update on this asap, please check your tickets Coinhouse. Another thing I noticed is the TX ID given to the larger transaction in the history was matching the TX ID of the smaller transaction yet the larger amount was not logged/ sent. It looks like a bug where only one of the BTC amounts was sent, probably because they mentioned they were trying to combine multiple transactions into one. Well in my case they combined out most of my BTC, probably still sitting on their exchange.

I got an email saying they will process my Bitcoin transaction maybe tomorrow. I will update this post with a positive feedback if my transaction is successful. Thanks.

Can you explain how a server with Cloudflare DDOS protection becomes extremely slow with barely any trades?

Can you explain why the only coin I have been able to withdraw is Electra?

Can you confidently say you are not part of this Electra scam.

edit: Again I'm not going to praise this until I receive my Bitcoins. Honestly I really suggest you approve my Bitcoin because it's not worth any negative feedback

These are excellent gains. Can you please share your trading strategy with us? Does it involve only selling when prices are near all time highs or 24 hour highs, or is it much more complex. Do you trade only one coin, or a lot of different coins? Thanks.

Today I noticed many large traders sell huge volumes of their coins once prices hit close to all time highs. This sounds like quite a safe strategy to use but doesn't happen very often so there must be a different strategy in play for achieving 70 trades per day. Another strategy I thought about is when the price rises very quickly e.g. 5-10% in a few seconds, it's a good time to put up a sell wall and then quickly add a buy wall when that fills to catch the dip
