We're lack of funds for initiating a similar campaign, but probably we can be in a scale with less incentive.
what kind of funds should be raised for this? we can do a community pot deposit for campaign payouts.
Here is my idea:
Lets say we get everyone who participates to buy in with 5 XMG each person, and the top 5 miners of some criteria will receive the ranking rewards for their efforts. So it gives miners a chance to compete for better performance; thus rewarding them from both mining, and possibly winning the upper ranks of the POT. If 500 people participate in the entry fee of 5/XMG to join this campaign, this will fund the campaign in a total of 2,500 XMG. This can allow for a scale of rewards for the TOP 5 miners that can compete to be placed in the top 5 rewards.
I have someone working on this model to fixture it with Magi's network!

I've thought a lot about how to structure the proof for earning part of the donation pot. This time of year the weather can be very tough and setting any type of quantifiable goal can not adequately deal with the different levels of abilities of people. We don't want to encourage someone in their 90's to go out and ride 20 miles in a blizzard. So do whatever level of commitment feels right for you and your situation. Really this is more about getting the word out.
Please post the results of anything you decided to do. You can share stories, goals, pictures, videos, go shopping by bike, tell your friends on social media, run or walk in the woods, additional things I've not thought of, etc... I hope those in group with be able to encourage participation through some friendly postings, however, if enough people in the group decide that there has not been enough PoB for your share, I reserve the right as acting benevolent dictator not to disperse your coins. You are earning your coins by participation, cooperation and through encouraging each other.
Short metaphor: Some may view the efforts of a small hummingbird carrying one mouth full of water at at time back and forth to put out a forest fire as a futile waste of effort, while others may rally in support and purchase a C-130 to put it out a pond of water at a time.
