At least, right now, the latest rumor of Man United signing is about Nicolas Jackson, He is the big option, because they really wants to put aside Garnacho.

Source: Man United are CONSIDERING Nicolas Jackson as BIG OPTION,
Wait, isn't Jackson a striker and Garnacho a winger who plays mostly on RW and sometimes switches to the LW position! So what similarities does these two players have in common that Manchester United is looking at replacing Garnacho with Jackson? I just wonder what they are thinking. Jackson that hasn't adapted all these while even with the kinds of players Chelsea has, it's that same Jackson that Manchester United wants, lol. If the club doesn't know whom to buy anymore, they should just rest and wait till the season resumes
Nicolas Jackson might have played as a striker for Chelsea but he is also capable of playing on the wing. If I remember correctly Jackson was playing as a winger in his former club before he moved to Chelsea and he was very effective in that role so he can also take on that role for Manchester United if he joins but the question is why are Manchester United trying to do away with Garnacho when he is a very talented player are they going forward are backwards?

The long awaited Here We Go, is finally year.
Sporting accepted Arsenal's last bid of €63.5m + €10m according to Fabrizio Romano. It was a tough battle between both parties, but Arsenal has been much calmer in this window, thereby putting those that they are buying from in very tight corner.

I believe Arsenal fans are very happy at the moment, and Gyokeres should be far more excited to join the gunners. It's going to be a very tough season ahead considering the fact that the top big teams are recruiting good strikers. Let's see how Manchester united respond to this in the coming days.
I was beginning to think the “here we go”’was never coming but fortunately it is here and I am so excited for Arsenal because for years they have sought for a number nine since Aubameyang and they have not been lucky with their search. I believe this addition to the squad will greatly improve Arsenal’s chances at winning the league this season.

Thanks for your insight🙏. Many people don’t realize exchanges can freeze or lose funds anytime. It’s safer to move coins to your own wallet and protect your keys.

But do you think it’s better to use a hardware wallet or a mobile wallet for holding long-term?
If you fit afford hardware wallet then by all means get am but if your pocket dey small you fit dey use mobile wallets like Electrum for storing bitcoin and Unstoppable wallet to accommodate different cryptocurrencies. Nothing dey wrong with using mobile wallets as long as you sabi wetin you dey do.

It's certainly reasonable to hold back on Ten Hag's expectations in his first season with Leverkusen, especially since the team isn't particularly equipped with top players. I don't think we should expect too much next season unless Leverkusen can pull off more unexpected surprises. I also won't judge Ten Hag negatively for those preseason games, as the true assessment will have to be seen in the more serious matches that will come next season. That will be more appropriate to conclude after Ten Hag's first season with Leverkusen.

So, what can we expect from Eric Ten Hag? He hopes he can return to the pinnacle of his coaching career and achieve the same success he achieved during his time with Ajax Amsterdam. This isn't just his first season coaching Leverkusen, but it's also his first coaching a Bundesliga club. He does have considerable coaching experience, but he lacks the experience to coach a Bundesliga club. And if, with ETH, Bayer Leverkusen can't maintain its status as a title contender, then hiring ETH as Leverkusen's new coach would be a poor decision by the club's owners. It's still too early to judge ETH, but the signs of Leverkusen's decline under ETH are already evident.
At the moment the club has lost some really good players, talking about players who were crucial to the club’s success in the last two seasons and to cap it all losing their manager too so I can say that Leverkusen are experiencing a recovery phase and so I won’t be expecting so much from Ten Hag and the team next season because this season will he will be experimenting. Probably from the upper season before the expectations and big objectives can come in.

First pre season match, Manchester United being draw against Leeds United indeed played with full team but can't scoring any one goal yet, new recruitment Cunha can't scoring goal at his debut match but Amorim not priority the winning result and looking for right formation. Upcoming pre season match Manchester United will face West Ham United and Bournemouth.

I didn't expect Manchester United to draw against Leeds. Right from this pre-season, I am expecting good results from Manchester United to show how serious they would be in the main season. I didn't watch the match but as you said, if Manchester United can play with their full squad and still draw against a team like Leeds, I don't really think they have a strong enough squad to compete in the main season.

It looks anyhow for a full Manchester United team to play Leeds without scoring any goals, it’s really bad to me. But let’s wait and see how the rest of the pre-season matches go. I know pre-season is not all about main season form, but I am expecting Manchester United to start showing that they are ready for the season. At the very least, they should give fans some hope by trying to win most of their pre-season matches.
With Manchester United you should always keep your expectations low because they can do anything and it doesn’t matter which team they play against, top, average or low they can be defeated. I watched the highlights of this game and Leeds had the better play throughout 90minutes, makes me wonder what Manchester United have been cooking  Huh

It's getting more interesting, as Man City is back in the hunt for new players in this transfer window. They are currently targeting Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa, whose current market value is around €40,000 million, but Man City is reportedly bold and has submitted an offer of around €60 million. Diogo Costa is Portugal's mainstay goalkeeper, and his performance so far has been very promising and strong, making several crucial saves. And his height of 1.86 m is also quite helpful. Now, we are waiting to see how they are able to win the negotiation.

Source: Manchester City have made an approach to sign Diogo Costa
Good move for City, it looks like they want to create competition in goalkeeper position for Ederson next season. Ederson has been making silly mistakes lately and it appears he has fallen out of favor with Pep Guardiola. I think it will be interesting if they can get Diogo Costa at least that will give Ederson competition and make him improve his game.

Even the Chelsea fans seeing this news they'll have to laugh about it because this player of theirs doesn't worth half of the amount they are tagging him with, unless they are just trying to scare clubs away which I feel is a terrible way to do so, for a player that doesn't know what next to do with the ball in a one on one situation, that's if he has a clear one on one chance of about 10 he will miss 8, hit 1 on the goalkeeper's body and score 1, he is that bad for to me honestly, a striker that lacks improvement to start with, I hope is just a rumor...does he worth that amount £80m-£100m?

It cracks me up every time I see this £80m to £100m price tag placed on Nicolas Jackson. It will be very difficult to see any English club that will be ready to pay that huge amount for Nicolas Jackson so he will be missing chances here and there except maybe one of the Saudi clubs are interested in signing him then such fee can be realized.

https://dailypost.ng/2025/07/20/no-player-should-be-given-absolute-power-al-sheikh-slams-al-nassr-over-ronaldo/

Ronaldo is known from the early days of his career to have had some level of influence on his clubs and national team. He sometimes influences the players and coaches that the club management hires. This is also the case in Al Nassr. It is believed that he was behind the sacking of coach Stefano Pioli and the replacement with Jorge Jesus. He also used his reputation to influence the sacking of the club's CEO Majed Jamaan Al-Sorour and he also made sure the club replaced him with his close friend Jose Semedo.

Former Saudi Arabian Football Federation Spokesman, Mohammed Al-Sheikh, has frowned at this excess power given to the Portuguese captain. Al-Sheikh appreciates Ronaldo's positive contributions to the SPL but he thinks that his powers should have limits.
It is my belief that the outcome of these decisions should justify it all. I believe Ronaldo’s coming to the league has been the turning point of the SPL and him staying back clearly means he wants to continue the good job. I am sure he means well for Al Nassr.

A sports news outlet football.london claimed that Barcelona is also interested in signing the Brazilian international. Rodrygo said he respects Real Madrid and wants to remain in the club. But it seems Xabi Alonso prefers other strikers, as shown in the FIFA World Club event.  So he might want to leave for a place where he would be appreciated more. Real might be open to let him leave for €100m (£85m), and it might be hard for clubs to afford that amount, except there are other agreements, like player swaps.
I think it is obvious that Rodrygo would love to continue with Madrid and fight for his place in the starting eleven but it appears he has fallen out of favor with Xabi so I would not be surprised Real Madrid are open to make a sale if a good bid is on the table.

Because Ten Hag had a very difficult season at Man United, it was felt that he was considered a bad coach. And especially as Xabi's replacement, it would certainly be considered very bad if he couldn't deliver the best results.

Unfortunately, in this opening match, Ten Hag was actually embarrassed by being defeated by Flamengo U20, even though it was a friendly match.
The coach Eric Ten Hag is most under discussion due to his failure in Manchester United and his replacement with the coach Xabi Alonso in Bayern leverkusen. But the main thing is predicting his performance by seeing the pre season matches is completely unfair. Maybe they planned some changes for the season and noticed mistakes in pre-season matches. I think it's wrong to make an image about someone by seeing his previous mistakes. It's not necessarily the same things that will be repeated in another place or with new faces. So, let's motivate him somehow so that he can do well and even more well. He just needs to focus on his goal and avoid the negative things circulating about him. And his relation with the players must be as strong and friendly as possible.
It's too early to start judging ten hang because of his preseasons games which are just for the purpose of practice and keeping fit we have to wait until the new season starts before we can start throwing stones at him and again we should not expect ten hang to replicate what Xabi Alonso was able to do in Leverkusen because anyone expecting ten hang to do so well be disappointed as Xabi was super exceptional while at Leverkusen
The people judging Erik Ten Hag by the defeat Bayern Leverkusen conceded against Flamengo U20 should know that Erik Ten Hag winning his preseason matches doesn't justify that he will do well at Bayern Leverkusen next season; they should wait until the new German Bundesliga season starts, and if Erik Ten Hag fails to do well at Bayern Leverkusen, they can start judging him.
I know it is too early to start dishing criticism out but to be frank losing in that manner to an U20 team is embarrassing and is not something that we can just say okay and look away, it might be a friendly match but he has to do better atleast for the reputation of the club he manages.

I have heard that Bayern Munich is after the youngster Nick Woltemade (23). He is a SS mainly but can play as CF and AM as well. However there is a problem...

They made a huge offer like 55 million euros + 10% sell-on clause to Stuttgart. But it was still rejected.  Tongue  His market value is 30 million euros. However it seems like they have an abnormal price tag in their mind.

Is he really worth that much you think? He had an average season the last time. He started to play in the main squad of German national team too. But I don't think he is worth a huge amount now.
This name is strange to me, I am hearing it for the first time but for the fact that Bayern Munich is interested in signing him then there must be something special about him.
I just read somewhere that Bayern Munich have paused negotiations for the player after seeing two bids rejected by his parent club, they now want to prioritize Luiz Diaz at the moment.

Tottenham has actually been signing some pretty decent players this year. From that perspective, Tottenham's chances of advancing to the next round of the UCL will depend somewhat on the fixtures. Of course, if they have to play eight matches against the toughest teams, their chances of advancing to the next round will be minimal, but they'll face tougher opponents.
Tottenham have also hired Thomas Frank as their new manager, and with the addition of a squad overhaul, Tottenham should be able to perform even better next season. Tottenham actually have a significant burden on their shoulders next season, they must first repair their reputation in the Premier League, while hoping to advance further in the Champions League. Thomas Frank certainly understands the club priorities and the intensity of competition in each competition. Expectations for Tottenham are not particularly high in the Champions League, but I believe they can once again enliven the competition in the European zone.
Thomas Frank is one manager I think I can trust with this Tottenham job, he is not a manager that is used to coaching star studded teams, you know some managers have better experience with stars than grooming a team to top level. Thomas Frank is able to groom a lower/average team so I am backing him to succeed with Sours especially now that they are making good signings to boost the squad this summer.

Here we go! Marcus Rashford to Barcelona. Finally, what he wanted is coming true. He's only a few steps away until he will able to wear Barcelona's jersey. There's no concrete talk about how much Barcelona's offer for him, but i've heard they wanted him for intermediaries loan + option to buy.
That's obvious he must be working harder to win Flick's heart to keep stay in Barcelona once he successfully join there. Wish him luck!

Finally Marcus Rashford has gotten his wish, this is what Barcelona wanted from Nico Williams, for his to be ready to sign for the club without doubts and questions. For quite some time Rashford has indicated his strong interest in joining Barcelona, he has gotten it though on a loan with options to buy. I hope he utilizes this opportunity well this season and proves his doubters wrong.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

I predict Roma will be in a better position next year than this year, as the players will have better chemistry. Furthermore, these two players will provide Roma with a new level of flexibility. We all know Roma will be aiming for the Scudetto. With a little luck, why not? We all know Roma are one of the strongest teams in Italy.
What makes you think Roma will be significantly better this season than last? They also have some of the same players. Neither player is a player, so it won't directly impact their performance on the pitch, unless Roma brings in some quality players to significantly strengthen their squad. Let alone aiming for the Scudetto, finishing in the top three will be much more difficult for Roma if they rely solely on their current squad.

Roma is indeed one of the strongest teams in Serie A, but the rise of Napoli, Inter Milan, and several other teams will make it difficult for them to compete for the title. I only predict Roma will aim for a top-five finish next season, as chasing the Scudetto is no easy feat.
Roma showed good improvement towards the end of the season I believe that with some additions to the team they could be even better next season. I think Roma is one team to also look out for next season. They didn’t spare their opponent in the pre-season game and trashed them 14:0, isn’t that scary?

Currently watching the Manchester United vs Leeds game, first half 0-0 as expected  Roll Eyes And as things stand United not a full squad just seeing how the new signings like Cunha fit in but of course can't tell because youngsters are playing here today as a mixed team...but when all players are back for duty, we should expect to now see how well the team will settle in and hope it's for the best after reinforcements..but the defense needs a few bolts to make it better.
I believe Cunha will make good impact for Manchester United next season, he is not new to the league so it should be relatively easy to blend in. Speaking to some United supporters they refuse to admit their club is short in defense and will rather strengthen in attack alone than split the cash across all aspects of the team.

But if in the end he succeeds in getting them to put their egos aside and switch to a collective game then I think Madrid will really be very well protected in terms of goal productivity because indeed these two players are very solid individually but quite bad when placed together in one club so far.
This reminds me of the time when Zidane coached Real Madrid and they won the UCL three times in a row. Many said Zidane wasn't a genius coach, but he was lucky to coach Real Madrid alongside the prime Ronaldo. His passing tactics to Ronaldo became a topic of conversation on social media at the time. But what's not known is that teams with star players usually have big egos. Everyone wants to be the main character, and that's what can make a team with many star players fail. But Zidane was able to overcome each player's ego so they could play collectively. Real Madrid currently also has many star players, especially in the attack. Mbappé and Vini are two of the best strikers in the world today. They have big egos to score goals, become top scorers, and win individual trophies because they have the ability to do so. This will be Xabi's first job: to make Real Madrid play more collectively as a team, rather than individually.
You are very correct, clubs with star studded team most times suffer this situation of ego amongst their players and when this has eaten deep into a team it becomes difficult for them to play as one and it kills team work. Not many managers are able to manage such team effectively. I think Zidane did a great job managing the team he had with Real Madrid. Xabi will have to find a way around this problem before it ruins his spell.

I'm just curious, how come we haven't heard of this until of recent about Thomas Partey? For 4 years now no issues has surfaced about this rape allegations that's coming up now. His a free agent now after he asked for salary increment before signing a new deal and Arsenal refused that increment. All of a sudden the rape case has resurfaced and his now even charged. Could it be that Arsenal has been the ones shielding this case and preventing it from coming to light? Could it be that as him and Arsenal are no longer in the same camp that's why this case has resurfaced again? Hmmmm!
I honestly believe it is a coincidence that both incidents happened at same time. These things happen, it is hard for me to believe that Arsenal would frame a player just because he refused to extend his contract with the club.
