Xavi Simons is ready to leave... Then what is going to be his next team you think?  Huh

Other than Bayern Munich I mean. I understand their interest in a new AM. Musiala is suffering a serious injury and his return is unknown. Even when he returns they don't have another reliable player in his position too.

They are targeting to sign him or Wirtz this summer. Simons would be much cheaper. He is also a great talent so I don't think they should spend probably double the money for Wirtz.
Xavi Simons was linked with couple of clubs the previous summer but not failed to materialize and he stayed back but since he is said to want to leave at the end of this season Liverpool, Bayern Munich and even Arsenal seem to be interested in his signature, we will see which club will show serious interest in the player as the transfer window opens.

Statistically, Rice is become this “late-game lifeguard”: 3 out of 4 league goals this season popped up when Arsenal’s xG was low, so it’s not even about chance volume, it’s about timing and character. His goal against Newcastle was pure nerve, not a tap-in. But yeah, the defense. That shift after Rice scored was pure Arteta: compact, disciplined, no frills, let Newcastle have the ball but not a sniff at goal for 70+ minutes

Also, Martinez is actually Villa’s keeper! For Arsenal, Raya deserves the credit: five huge saves in the first half. Dude’s saved more xG than he’s conceded and is basically the insurance policy for Arteta’s “total football but with a safety net” approach
Decline Rice has been the standout player for Arsenal this season no wonder he won the club’s player of the season award as well as the best goal. Raya on the other hand has also been outstanding in his performances for the club from last season and has also made crucial saves this season including in the game against Newcastle in the weekend indeed his brilliance cannot be denied.

It’s crazy how Manchester United keeps going down and everyone is paying blind eye to this and upholding their position in the Europa League. I pray they lose to Tottenham so reality will done on them that they are no where close to being good for the last four seasons now including this current season and wake up to forcefully demand a change from their hierarchies.

Yep. Yamal has great performance this season. He contributed many goals and assists. Since he is very young, he will be very bright future in Barcelona. Well, we can say that he is suitable to be the next Messi although he may have a different play style. It is lucky that Barcelona has Yamal because he is a big asset for Barcelona future.
This is Barcelona advantage, when they were experiencing a financial crisis, the La Masia academy became the club's savior. Several young players who were promoted to the first team were able to become important pillars in their domestic Treble Winner success this season.
Yamal is one of the most prominent players among other talented young players, at a very young age he has been able to carry Barcelona to win several prestigious trophies. As time goes by, Yamal will be Messi's successor at Barcelona, he must be himself to make history with Barcelona.
Indeed Barcelona’s academy has been the savior of the season if not what would the club have done being faced with such huge financial crises that restricted them from making some signing for a season or two now they are flourishing thanks to the club’s academy for producing stars like Yamal, Balde, etc who have become pillars of the team.

One thing about games like this is that it's not about your past record, if you can't take advantage of the moment and give it all in a crucial finals as this, your fate is going to be like that of every other big teams that threw away Thier opportunities because they underrated their opponents. Crystal palace hasn't been bad this season but to think that they can get a winner over man city In a crucial finals is what I never saw coming.

We've literally seen it all this season with a lot of unpredictable results eventually playing out. Liverpool losing out in a finals because they understand Thier opponent, arsenal knocking out real Madrid and then crystal palace succeeding in making sure that Manchester city will end the season trophyless. A great achievement for crystal palace 🏆
You are very correct, it doesn’t really matter about your past glory if that was all there wouldn’t be any reason to be playing and competing every season. The reason for the competition is to evaluate and reward clubs for their current performances and hardwork so any season a club fails to perform well they also fail to win trophies no matter the league. Manchester City struggled this season Ana as a result they couldn’t win any trophy.

Vinicius has a contract with Real Madrid until 2027 and the management has a plan want to extended his contract until 2030 but the negotiation hasn't reach an agreement but on the other side Saudi Arabian club rumoured will dare to bid 250 million for Vinicius transfer

This makes Real Madrid a bit doubt about this offer and i know he is important player for Real Madrid but i think 250 million is fantastic offer and good to be considered

Even i starting to thinking probably Real Madrid will accept this offer and Xavi Alonso as new coach can makes those money to buy more potential players to strengthen Real Madrid squad
Whatever the situation might be and the reason negotiations are stalling I doubt Vinicius will even consider moving to Saudi Arabia and abandon his dreams of winning big trophies and individual achievements playing in Europe. Whatever the issues are stalling the process I believe it will be resolved and all parties will reach an agreement.

So this is it lads. The 2024-25 season finally came to an end.
The final table is as follows:

Everything is back to normal, the hegemon of the Bundesliga, Bayern, regained the title, but Leverkusen have nothing to be ashamed of. Some are disappointed at Leverkusen, because they didn't look as good as in the last season, but last season was exceptional and you can't realistically expect them to do the same every year.

Well done to Eintracht, 3rd place is a good result. They really went for it in their last game against Freiburg and won 3-1 despite playing away.

But the real hero of the last few weeks is Borussia Dortmund, what a flawless finish to the season. Looking at their 4th position, it's hard to believe that they had moments when things were so bad that some were speculating they might be at risk of relegation. I guess Niko Kovac deserves credit for setting them straight.
Of course there is nothing to be ashamed for they finished second this season after previously finishing as champions last season so what is there to be ashamed of infact they should be proud of what they have been able to achieve in two seasons. Congratulations to Dortmund for making back to the top of the league table, before now it seemed like it will be a disastrous season for them but good thing they are able to secure Champions League football for next season.

Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - 2024/2025
by

on 20/05/2025, 06:18:23 UTC

Hardly anyone understands why City have such big problems and why they can't get up again? At the moment the place for the CL positions in the PL is also shaky and if they don't manage to qualify for the CL it would be a disaster for next year, because then they can't even recover from this bad season.

Sometimes big clubs need a little break (like Real Madrid this year) but they should at least qualify for the CL, otherwise next season will be a disappointment for the fans.

Two straight FA cup losses for Pep Guardiola and his men which is seriously a thing of concern for them as this was their only shot at Silverware this season, Now Manchester city will end the season trophyless if I am not mistaken the second time under Pep Guardiola. Many people are already blaming it on tactics and the rest but I simply blame it on the squad depth. In the past seasons that Manchester City actually won almost everything they had second team that was capable of winning the league but right now let’s be sincere do we see same team again? I would say, so there is currently a squad overhaul at Manchester city and this things doesn’t just get better at once it takes time and some more signings so for me I think Manchester City although had done by this defeat should take it as a wake up call.

As for Crystal Palace I am much happy they won it just like Newcastle this is their second final in less than ten years in this competition so personally for me it opens door for more lower teams to dream that they can win domestic trophies too. Fans are calling for cheating against Manchester city I will say the referee missed the call and Pope should have been off but sincerely how many controversial decisions have Manchester City to benefit from over the years
I agree that Manchester City’s failure this season can be traced to poor squad depth because they incurred injuries to their key players which affected the team’s performance throughout the season, if they had a good squad depth probably the case would have been different but it wasn’t. The league has come to the an end and the summer window is here for them to recruit and strengthen positions they are lacking in for the coming season.

Re: Why Nigerian should invest in Assets in this present economy, Bitcoin assets
by
SatoPrincess
on 19/05/2025, 14:14:55 UTC
Cars are actually an assets if you decide to make it, we have private use car and business use cars, this simply means that there are people who invest on it to sell it back with a higher price, so since there is a profit it becomes an assets, actually people are making a lot of money on that business especially this time that the inflation has made the cost very high because those cars that was bought long time ago with lower amount can still be sold today with twice the amount that was initially bought after serving for several years. However those are physical business but right now Bitcoin is the real deal.
You could also mean that cars bought for Indrive usage is also an asset to describe such situation your car can be rented and be rewarded to the owner monthly maybe depending on the negotiation made.

Absolutely, unlike before where cars were seen as a liability, companies are leveraging on that to make it count into bringing in more income, its usual now and everywhere.

Cats are not an asset no matter how you want to spin it. In the scenario you gave, it may seem that cars are an asset but in reality they are a depreciating asset. The moment you drive a car out of the car dealership it automatically loses the cost value. Companies like Uber and Indrive can make money from their cars because they have the finances to push the business but you as a person cannot fund that. It’s going to cost you a lot in maintenance and insurance making the car a liability instead of an asset.

I can tell from the comments that people are very happy that Manchester City lost the FA Cup. I don’t blame them for feeling that the villain Manchester City deserve to have a taste of heat if feels like not to win a trophy. But I also think we shouldn’t let the poor referee decision slide, I’m happy to see the underdog but Henderson deserved a red card.

So many strong teams won't want to fix a friendly match with the Nigerian team because they see the Nigerian team as a team that is not strong enough for them to play against, and they believe the Nigerian team can't be a strong test for them if they play a friendly match with the Nigerian team. Nigeria team is a big African team in name and not in playing good football, and that's the reason why the Nigerian team is finding it difficult to play a friendly match with strong teams in the world.
It’s a shame to be reading such comments about the Super Eagles because as our title implies “the giants of Africa” we are suppose to be at the top of the standing representing Africa not being mentioned as a side nobody wants to fix friendly games with it’s so sad.

But the Super Eagles team is still among the best teams in Africa despite having so many poor results lately, I think the major reason why there are no friendly's yet is because most of the clubs in Europe is still on and most of the guys can not leave their teams to travel back to play friendly matches.

Politics in the NFF is one thing that needs to be corrected cause it has affected everything in the national team and unless something is done the poor performances and some bad news about the team will never stop.
The friendlies will come definitely it’s just a matter of time. By the time most of the league would have been over for the season there will be time and the friendlies will happen. The issue of corruption in our system has been a long existing pandemic that will take time to eradicate. Unless this change happens we will continue to suffer with it.

I don't expect anything surprising in the Aston Villa vs Tottenham game tonight. Aston Villa are highly favoured for the win. Tottenham have no target left except the EL trophy.
Tottenham target right now is the Europa league, and as we can see they are performing poorly in premier league, but their performance isn’t so bad in the Europa league, maybe it’s because they haven’t faced any strong club in the Europa, but the Europa final is going to be a difficult one for d two clubs.

Aston villa will be facing Tottenham today, the match should be a easy win for Aston villa because they really need it, they want to qualify for the champions league, and if they don’t win todays match, they will find it difficult to qualify for champions league. Tottenham is at the bottom of the table, and they only want to win the Europa league right now, so they will focus on the Europa league match, and won’t really take todays match so serious.
Just as predicted Tottenham was not a difficult task for Aston Villa. Aston Villa were able to defeat them by two goals to keep their Champions League hopes alive for next season. On the other hand Tottenham are in 17th position in the league table and the only hope they have of making something meaningful of this current season is to win their Europa league final when they face Manchester United.

Yeah, after Manchester city had their way with a 4-2vl victory against Crystal palace in the premiership, the coach of Crystal palace had to make sure such mistake doesn't repeat itself when they meet again at the FA Cup finals. And it's apparent he kept his promise to Gardiola as seen in the image above where he had to reveal that.
I didn't know that Crystal Palace's head coach said this to Pep Guardiola after Manchester City defeated Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Crystal Palace's head coach will surely be proud of himself because he was able to solve the system and kept his word as he said to Pep Guardiola. Since the Crystal Palace coach stopped Pep Guardiola from using the system, it shows that he has known the weakness of Pep Guardiola. If Pep Guardiola is not careful next season, he may not beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Me neither. Crystal Palace played a defensive game. They had two players marking City players whenever they had the ball. They let Manchester city attack and when the attack failed, Crystal Palace immediately hits them with a counter attack. When you look at the stats, Crystal Palace had the least ball possession and shots but they took advantage of their chances and won the game.

Real Madrid is not complete with Tony Kroos, sadly he left on his one accord. The squad is not complete without Carvahal, he is badly wounded and taking alot of time for recover. This two guys can take bullet for Real Madrid with their unending support for Real Madrid. Check most of Vinicious long pass assist, all of them came from Tony Kroos, no player has been able to be replaced his worth in the club and not to brag, not sure they are going to have anyone close like him.

Did you see how many numbers of players that are injured and not present. Bellingham became a regular player the moment he stopped playing as striker role than been a midfield he is. Perhaps he wasn't happy as things were back then but as player, you have to learn how to learn how to adopt, if now seems like playing position that is not your usual did better than yiu. Been long since I saw the mum on my fyp unlike previous seasons, she was their.
Real Madrid might not be complete since Kroo’s departure as you said but they will have to move ahead from it and sort out new signings to improve the team’s performance. Carvahal is recovering and will be back soon and Madrid are making some signings this summer that will change the situation.

Reijnders possible transfer to Manchester City is something I want to see happen. Yes, I'm not a city fan but he is the best fit in replacement of the outgoing IIkay Gundugan who would be joining Pep Guardiola's coaching team at the end of the season. I did watch him close up against Real Madrid this season in the Champions League and I knew he would fit right into that number 8 position. Florian Wirtz should also be that man replacing Kevin De Bruyne.

Manchester City have already began their rebuilding process since January and they seem to be actively looking for new signings to replace outgoings at the end of the season. Securing Reijners signature will do the team good in the absence of Gundogan when he finally leaves.

The Premier League can be humbling. Pep Guardiola is having his fair share of struggles coaching a Premier League club and to be honest Pep has won everything and dominated English football for 4 years with Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is not leaving the club anytime soon, as long as he’s still there Manchester City will bounce back to winning ways.
Don't be surprised if he makes a sudden announcement and leaves, especially if Manchester City continue the bad form into next season. Guardiola is not the kind of guy who sticks around for too long if the team continues to perform badly. Poor performance stresses him so much.

The likes of KDB are leaving, which means he will have to either build most of the team from scratch or pressurize the owners to release more millions in order to buy more players. Will the Owners accept, or will Guardiola have to work with what he has been having? Time will tell.
KDB didn’t want to leave Manchester City, the club didn’t give him a new contract that’s why he is leaving. It’s not in Pep’s character to ditch a club just because they are having a off-season. You make it sound like Pep is just some rookie manager who doesn’t know his onions. Never underestimate Pep, he just needs to enter the transfer market and make some signings, you will see them bounce back next season.
