I appreciated the personal message you sent to me but to be honest I wasn’t sure what you were referencing. So no worries about anything buddy. There’s no ill will here. I wish you all the success in the world and good luck to you with whatever ventures you have going on in the future. Make sure to hang onto some Bitcoin.

Btw, so how is it that these guys are knowing your contacts of business because these aren't people that are disclosed to the public... Unless these people start with those funny messages in the official chat group of who do I contact for marketing purposes etc and when directed to the right person they now execute their scams and impersonation...
That's a mystery. I have recently contacted with Royse777 regarding this and realized the scammer collects enough information/contacts before they try the scam. It was my surprise that scammer knew 3 of my contacts from shuffle and tried to scam all of them impersonating me.

I know one guy who asked for shuffle admin's telegram to solve an issue regarding casino. I haven't shared his tg with anyone else. Maybe he is doing all these, maybe not. I'm really in confusion.

Scammer's are so fucking annoying -.- right bro?

What are some of the most trusted bitcoin link directories?
by
SeeBiscuit
on 04/05/2024, 09:23:51 UTC
I am trying to compile a list of really trusted links and resources for bitcoin to give to a friend.

Don't respond with "Oh there's a thread for that", cuz that's why I'm making this one.

I need the responses fast cuz I'm tryna log off soon and give it to my friend before I do.

Thank you! <3

If anyone logs in after I lock this post, it's not me.

I'm not quitting Bitcoin, hell not even quitting SeeBiscuit as an alias. Just quitting SeeBiscuit on btt.

I'm just moving on, that's all. I've gotten everything I could get from this beautiful place. And for that I thank you. It's just that for some reason, this forum has so much of my attention and I can't explain why I'm so hooked on just being on the website. Wether it's on my phone or my laptop! It's not bad, it's just a personal choice.

Bitcointalk is important and everyone should use and know about it.

Im at work right now but I'm gunna write something I'm way more comfortable with leaving on here forever.

I love you guys. You're my family forever.

I'm intending on ceasing all public activitiy on this account for mental health reasons.

Where is the best place to verbalize my appreciation to certain forum users I've met along the way, and to the forum itself?

It feels like the opposite to me, how are you respecting the founder when you are using bitcoin in a way that is different from what they envisaged.

I think the founder envisioned a world operating on mass adoption of freedom and self custody.

But sure, technically what ur saying is right.

One day I was like "Yo, why can't I have a bitcoin wallet in my bitcointalk.org acc?".
There is nothing like this because Satoshi Nakamoto designed Bitcoin to give us private keys and importance of private keys to secure our own funds (bitcoin).

There is a reminder from theymos, one of two current head admins.
Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

It will not happen in this forum.

Oh, yea for sure. It's clear no one wants or needs a BTC wallet here. To me, it feels as if it is out of respect to satoshi, which I think is sweet. Doing something out of respect to the Founder is something that is commonplace in many changes with bitcointalk.org and bitcoin itself.

Anything else besides bitcointalk.org having a wallet you can think of?

I'm someone that is very interested in the mechanics of social networking and things of that nature. I don't want to argue if bitcointalk.org is or is not a social netowork/media with this post.

From what I understand, bitcoin culture revolves around heavily the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Like, there are always proposed changes or additions to bitcoin software itself that are simply deemed not necessary or too overcomplicated by a higher council. In this case, the high council consists of those with a high stake in the network, the core developers of the software, a few hundred forum users, and satoshi.

And I'm someone hellbent on explaining to the world that bitcointalk.org or any place that is the central public place to talk about bitcoin deemed by the community, is vital to bitcoin itself and mass adoption. bitcointalk.org = bitcoin

So basically, to start that process, I'm curious on proposed changes to the forum itself that people have brought up over the years. One of the most valuable use cases of the forum itself, is the people that use it every day, and the knowledge in their nice little heads.

For example:

One day I was like "Yo, why can't I have a bitcoin wallet in my bitcointalk.org acc?".

Legendary forum users: "Why? Just use electrum xd."?

So I ask all of you guys here,

What are some of the most famous proposed changes that got accepted?
What are some of the most famous proposed changes that still are up for debate?
What are some of the worst propose changes?

Porque?

Are you trying to start a discussion about how there are software developers that hire psychologists and mental health professionals to "limit" users without letting them know them are "limited"?

If so then there are countless examples out there.

Lot's of games are designed that way nowadays too.

We are nothing but electricity and synapses firing in our heads, so people that are masters of that, combined with masters of software development, are scary scary scary lolol.

Re: Is it possible to create a signed message with Binance?
by
SeeBiscuit
on 03/05/2024, 04:39:26 UTC
So Binance is an exchange, and has nothing to do with making signed messages.

To do what you are trying to do, your best bet is to search "Stake your address here." in the google search the forum has available.

It'll take you to a thread where they will assist you in making a bitcoin signed message, while also providing you with proof that you truly own the wallet in your bitcointalk.org profile. It's awesome.

Good luck!

I'll try it on my own first and if I fuck up just let me know pls.

Re: CZ Sentenced, Your Bitcoin in their Custody
by
SeeBiscuit
on 03/05/2024, 02:42:02 UTC
But CZ being in prison doesn't mean that Binance will stop working (especially when we're talking about the global exchange) or that people wouldn't be able to use the funds they have there. I'm all for self-custody and I don't keep funds on exchanges, but I'm just pointing out that this particular news on CZ probably doesn't affect the money on the exchange.
CZ already officially stepped down as CEO months ago, and he did it exactly to prevent any possible bad outcome from the sentence he was going to get.

Do you know how organized crime functions?
Do you know how chain of command functions?

Are you seriously under the impression that there are currently no human beings with similar intentions of money laundering like their leader before them?

Am I bugging right now?

AVP is kinda right,

It is a maximalist-y type of mindset, which is fine, but it can come off as delusional or extraordinary to alot of other people given how many options there are.

Like, yea there are alot of coins to chose from and bitcoin is number 1. That's all clear, but it's things like FTX and BNB that wake people up and make them realize that Mabey the maximalists are onto something.

The whole thing about "if Satoshi comes back" is literally the number 1 reason why maximalism is a thing in this space.

There are a few out there who are convinced that dude is not coming back.

Re: After the dip in crypto, when are we expecting ath?
by

I personally think predicting ATH's is going to get super hard because the general masses are going to soon be woken up to pumping and dumping.

The graph is so young, it's in its infancy honestly.

Therefore, when all the simple minded idiots see the "pattern", who knows what the hell the price will do.

And I mean see the pattern.
