This is another great job at firmware mods!!
I had raised my stock firmware up to 397mhz and was getting about 511mhs but I am sure at more than 800w advertised.  I think I remember initially testing and it was running at 820w stock.

Anyway, now I have it tuned at about 406 freq 5 power level on most of the chains and getting 520mhs and only pulling 755w.   Also running the fan lower and it’s not making a lot of noice, albeit nothing like a d3 before your firmware. Smiley

Thanks!!

what do you think about this?

Fake o really?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLZePO1fIjw

If you're going to fund that guy you might as well fund my liquid nitrogen custom loop cooled D3. Here are the stats.

https://i.imgur.com/C6zngqu.png

Not only will you make easy profit while still using the x11 algo but you will help the Earth by cooling it down and stopping the global warming!

Jokes a side, it took me a minute to adjust the values of the page I see (right click - inspect element).

Anything you see in that video can be faked either by that method or probably hundred others.  Smiley

Of course the guy forgot that the worker name on nicehash is an internal wallet address that anyone can lookup and as you would figure 3PKimGa5VDKazCjo1F5SWvDE9kbsQ28jMQ  doesn’t exist on nicehash.

Additionally, it’s not a real bitcoin address that can be found on the blockchain explorers.

So through this “proof” we can actually say that they did prove something... that they are a scam.
Lol.

We have 10 spots taken only 20 left and we can place order.

Do we actually place the order on the iTopShop site or are we just letting you know here we are on board?

Thanks,

There are no exchanges that accept this coin.... A total waste of mining power.
Not to mention there are at least 2 other coins using BON as their so-called "symbol".

Don't waste your miners on this one.

Guys

5 of my D3 got issue with Chain 1 Chip set temperature TOO HIGH !

Any advice

https://i.imgur.com/c3b19Ce.png

I have the same issue.  I believe that chip is not correctly reporting the temp and it's not the actual temp.   I've also seen it go to 20 before just by changing the ASIC voltage.  (And not necessarily on that chip, they all kind of affect each other).   So if this chain or any of the others don't have HW errors then bump down their volts a level (just 1 chain) and see if that fixes the temp.  or if a chain is getting more than 1 or 2 HW errs a min, bump it's level up.

Hope that helps.

Hello

What do you think about that ?

https://www.power-antminer.xyz

It's possible Huh  Shocked

Seriously if you want to throw bitcoins away on a scam I would be happy to send you a Bitcoin address to send it to.

These guys literally started this site TODAY.   This has SCAM written all over.  Most likely it's the inginer.xyz guys realizing they have been marked as a scam and starting a new shop... Or someone else seeing all the traffic and going to try their had at scamming people.

If it's too good to be true ( ehm.. D3 ) then it most likely is.

However Blissz stuff is Majorly AWESOME!!!
Before this latest version  I was getting 18.5mhs @1100w,   now I'm at 19.5 (sometime 20) @1099w.

Great stuff here!!

I am running the 25/11 update and am having issues with certain pools sites connecting and staying connected, however I don't see the devFeeMiner ever not alive.

When I first started the pool I have setup connected immediately, however with multiple HW errors I reset some values and restarted.  This time the miner was perfect, no (or few/min) HWerr, but the pool was marked "Dead".   A few minutes later the fan tempo changed and it switched to alive.  Then I hear the fans change tempo again and the pool then goes from Dead again.... and stays that way.

Anyone else have this happen?   Anyway to resolve?

Thanks

ok anyone else get an email and be given a TONNNNNNN a coupons from bitmain?HuhHuhHuh??

like literally over $4400 worth of coupons??

is this an "I'm sorry" for all the D3's I bought that are personal heaters?

They did that to me a while back, but then an hour later they turned it back to only 2x300$ coupons.
However I did her 2 more 125$ today.   I think that might have been for the PSUs being sent after D3 arrived Sans PSU.

Little good these coupons will do as I don’t plan on supporting bitmain in the future after this D3 fiasco!

- The power supply (Bitmain's APW3++) is working as well as all pins
- I am using a power cable 10A - 250v.

Results: If i plug the PSU more than 2 hashboards, the miner will begin to reset every 5 secs, then loop.

Where are you?   The US, UK, Asia??
Power is different all over.

If the US, then is your outlet 220-240v or 120v
If you use it for everyday electronics then it’s 120v

Since your miner is cycling and the breaker isn’t popping then you don’t have enough power gong to the unit.
While the cord may be rated your outlet may be under powering.

Hope that helps.
Sfitz

I am living in USA, if i use a converter like this, does it work?

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/3GYAAOSwkLhaAsB7/s-l1600.jpg

I have two D3s, if i contact a electrician, what should i tell him? What else do i need for him to install? Does anyone know how much amps, volts, and watts for one d3 and bitman's psu?

I would have an electrician come in and install a 240v circuit with at least 30a breakers.  Then have 2 plugs rated at at least 15a.
Then make sure to have the outlet have a plug to match your cable.   There are many types of 220-240v outlets so double check what the put it.

That converter can be more dangerous and costly than a couple hours of time for a licensed electrician.
Also make sure your house has enough service (amps, room for breakers).

The electricity and heat of these miners is nothing to be playing with at home without some onsite help.
I took IEEE courses in college and physics in high school so I think I have know what I am doing..however .probably not. Wink

Just saw these guys too.   As someone that HAS been scammed this site is triggering red flags for me.

After reviewing the results here:

These guys opened shop 2 mothers ago and updated their information 3 days ago.  Red Flag
I can only assume their update was to enable the WhoisGuard Protection (RedFlag) so we can't get their personal contact information.
Since the first link show the site hosted in the UK that seems very strange for a US company to host in the UK.  Not completely out of the question but there that puts them outside US laws.   Red Flag.

So there are 3 red flags and as they say in Baseball 3 strikes and your out. Smiley

Best wishes.

Re: Antminer D3 firmware modification thread (voltage & fan mods)
by
Sfitzjava
on 16/11/2017, 15:25:45 UTC
First milestone is reached: the first flashable firmware image is a fact.   Grin

Please give a reply in this thread if you're willing to test it. It's really experimental so here are the terms:

- I am not responsible for any damage to your miner, flash at your own risk
- You're not in panic when you see HW errors because of the low voltage Wink
- You do have a watt meter
- You're willing to test and give me feedback for improvement.
- You're not going to complain about the 1.5% mining fee.

what you will get:
- no more high speed fan's during startup
- no more low fan warnings (the fan speed is fully unlocked)
- a first version of the unlocked voltage.

If you do join this beta test, please test the following:
set the speed to 400Mhz on your bitmain firmware and measure the amount of watts needed.
flash the beta firmware and set fan speed to manual at 20%
set the speed to 400Mhz and try to get as low as you can on the voltage settings before you see hardware errors.

PM me then the following information:
- your batch
- the wattage at 400mhz on the bitmain firmware
- The voltage on the custom firmware so that you run at the same wattage as the bitmain firmware
- The lowest possible voltage setting for 400mhz on the custom firmware. (before getting HW errors)
- the wattage measured at the new voltage
- your fan RPM speed at 20% fan setting

ofcourse if you run in any other problems please PM me as well.  Wink

Please, would like to be a tester.
Also THANK YOU for doing this... This is a huge undertaking.

Have Wattmeter, a volt meter and know how to use both. Wink  I also understand & agree with your terms.

Re: Legit alternatives of bitmain website for purchasing Antminers

I'm very new to this mining, but have ran into many sites trying to find sellers with these and other miners.

I am picking up some Baikal A900's from a company in Houston. (yes perfect timing, right after Harvey hit).
www.greenteksolutionsllc.com
They have some on Ebay right now (9/1/17) you might be able to get.
Their warehouse didn't get flooded so the equipment should be in good condition, albeit it is used.
They don't do Miners all the time, they are an equipment reseller.

For D3's and L3+ I found this store.  However they only do BTC.  Prices change quick, and they run out fast.
They also have an AliExpress store that has overstock (which is rare) and that can take PayPal.
I have not purchased from them, but I hear they are legit.  (anyone has different experience let us know).
www.eastshore.xyz

==UPDATE==
This one has some PayPal and CC logos but I have not seen any way to do that.  May have to contact them to setup something.  They may have an L3+, then they have some older Baikal 2000 and A900's.  But they don't update their listings so it looks like they have items but this the details show "out of stock".
Again, I have not purchased from them, but hear they are legit.
www.asicminermarket.com

I have now made an order from them (very small $19 cable) and they appear to be a SCAM!
Not only has it been nearly a week for the order, they are still "processing" it, for 4 cables.
Also they do not reply to emails or communications from your account login.
So I am calling them a scam and to stay away from them, unless giving bitcoins away is your thing, in which case please send them to:
 1FGAwN5k8KNFobBhzWpVrNVmBzdg35FRtd
Smiley
==UPDATE==

Finally, these guys have older equipment, but should keep an eye to see when new stuff starts showing up.
Again, I have not purchased from them, but hear they are legit.
www.deepinthemines.com

Best wishes and happy mining,
