Great looking useful app, Is there any specific reason it couldn't be made for iOS ? You could charge £5 a copy easy, Shame I don't have android.
Apple has a history of pulling Bitcoin related apps and blocking apps that use Bitcoin as a payment method. Probably more trouble than it's worth for independent devs.
Apple only takes down any app that directly buys/sells BTC/fiat. There are a ton of Bitcoin tracking, rig tracking, pool tracking, market tracking and even a few wallet apps out there. Blockchain.info are there and Coinbase was briefly, but they'll work that out soon.
Hell, there's even one scrypt mining app (no stratum support though) that they haven't touched. I use it occasionally on my iPhone and iPad just to eek a little more (point it to a stratum proxy that's pointed to Middlecoin). Of course they both just hash away at less than 1kh per thread.
But why should a dev, especially a small independent dev waste any time or resources to develop an app when there is even a remote chance of it being banned when there are other platforms that are more bitcoin friendly?
I tried. I threw my modest 1000 Khash at it until the client would no longer sync. I did think it was weird near the end when I was finding all of the blocks and there were no new blocks detected on the network. RIP quantumcoin.

I think I Might have transferred SXC from your pool when it was forked since it has been hours and I haven't received them yet. I hope something can be done since it was over 11,000 coins.

You're not saying you had 11k+ coins on the pool and not making a payout are you?

I received some more, but not all. It does seem to be fixed now. I'm guessing it won't be possible to "fix" it completely if mining was carried out on two forks, not without a time machine
Some of the mined coins will simply cease to exist.Well, it kind of sucks to lose the coins for 2 full days of mining. I'll just chock it up to a life lesson and use the auto pay feature at all pools I deal with to minimize the loss if something like this happens again.
It wouldn't have made a difference. Remember the "coins" only exist in your wallet because they show up on the blockchain. It isn't like a bank account where money is transferred into it. So when a fork happens, and then gets resolved, any transfers done and new coins created on the fork that didn't survive don't exist. It's like they simply never happened at all. So if you have done auto-payout, once the fork was resolved there would be no record of your payment on the blockchain and no record those coins were ever created in the first place. Your wallet, once it updated to the correct block chain, would show the lower balance without the non-existent coins.
Thank you very much for your assistance in helping me wrap my head around this whole fork thing. I'm wondering though what would happen if I earned some of the coins pre-fork, since I requested the payout post-fork, would all my pre-fork coins be gone?

Seriously though, I just recently discovered the wonderful world of crypto-currencies, but was bummed when I discovered I was late to the party and that the ASICs were just around the corner, but I really wanted to start mining. But then I discovered that scrypt based currencies are still profitable to mine with GPUs so i quickly built a rig with 2 7950's to start. I think I will just play the waiting game to see if these ASICS actually materialize, then maybe use some mining proceeds to buy one months down the road, but i'm sure the wait time will still be ridiculous, and by then the difficulty may be too high.
