A bootable image bypasses any autorun checks or AV scanning, it just
boots and start doing it's thing, whatever that is.

If that's a response to my comment, I'm well aware of that. My point is you'd have to be insane to buy a high end CPU to dedicate to mining XMR, which is what this boot-from-usb requires, unless I'm missing something.

Using spare CPU capacity on a gaming machine or whatever I can understand, although breakeven on electric is another question...
