The Songs of Love Foundation has a global reach as we have helped children all across the world and have written songs in 30 different languages. When children are critically ill the only thing they want is something to make them feel good for the moment. Our songs have done that in a very powerful and unique way. When nothing else has helped, many time the songs have been the most effective in bringing much needed smiles to the faces of sick children. The thousands of letters we have received can attest to this. Take a look at our appearance on one of the most prestigious shows called 60 Minutes with Dan Rather. www.songsoflove.org/60minutes. There are many global charities doing amazing things out there. Songs of Love stands alone in the world with the kind of service we provide. We are totally unique just like Nxt is in the cryptocurrency world. This is what make this a great fit.  Thanks again all for your support!

Huge Marketing Opportunity

Great job Salsacz and the rest of the Berlin crew!  NiftyNikel will be contacting you today to talk a bit about our charity drive we're about to start for SongsofLove. Our marketing group, CoinTropolis, will start the party off by donating 10k Nxt. I've worked with the foundation director before... they are completely behind it.

Not only does giving back feel good, it gives us a story worth printing with the 200+ writers we have in our media list.

OK, I've just had the time to take a look at the website for SongsOfLove.
http://www.songsoflove.org/

Hmmmm.....I'm going to sound like the Grinch who stole Christmas here, but I am not on board with this. At all....

I admire SongsofLoves apparent aim;  to bring some happiness to kids in hospital.
However, I think that this charity is not a good fit for NXT.
They appear to be offering the same deal to every crypto, so I am sure that the kids will get enough personalised songs to get them thru their illness, even if NXT doesn't get involved.

Sorry for being a grouch, but my vote is no.

Hi John Beltzer, founder and president of Songs of Love here. Just wanted to address your concern about us having other cryptocurrencies on our site. We are simply just trying to expand out funding resources and it's about trying to help as many kids as possible. We used to help 3,000 children a year before the economy crashed and we saw this as a way of trying to get funding from other innovative sources. When you state that kids will get enough personalised songs to get them through their illness that is simply not the case. Sadly there are so many kids who are diagnosed with serious illness so there is always need for more funding so we can hope to reach as many kids as possible. Nxt just happend to be clever enough to embrace us more fully and we are grateful for that and in the end there will be more publicity around Nxt than the other cryptocurrencies we accept. In fact we have even offered to make Nxt the presenting sponsor on what will effectively be the first ever children's charity fundraiser accepting crytocurrency at our Los Angeles event on March 8. Event page is at www.songsoflove.org/LA. We have some pretty cool acts one of which is Amandal Stenberg "Rue" from Hunger Games. Once we reach the 10K mark and we receive the donation we will make Nxt the presenting sponsor for the event. I feel Nxt and Songs of Love is a perfect fit as we embark a most amazing journey of love together.

The Songs of Love Foundation is proud to announce that it is now accepting Bitcoin donations to bring smiles to children and teens battling serious illness and lifetime disabilities. Visit www.songsoflove.org/bitcoins.

About Songs of Love:

The Songs of Love Foundation is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that creates uplifting, personalized songs for children and teens struggling with a life-threatening illness or lifetime disability--free of charge. Each CD is professionally produced with lyrics containing the child's name and references to all of his or her favorite activities, things, people, and pets. Songs are written and performed in the musical style that the child likes best (pop, r&b, rap, rock, alternative, etc.), by a variety of talented professionals. The organization is named after a song called "Songs of Love" that Julio Beltzer (Songs of Love founder John Beltzer's twin brother) wrote just 2 months before he died on April 12, 1984.

As each child is unique, so is every “song of love” composition. Since 1996 the Songs of Love Foundation has reached out to nearly 24,000 children in over 500 hospitals and health care facilities in all 50 states. The songs have often been played to alleviate pain and trauma during painful and scary hospital treatments.  The song recipients have played their "songs of love" in all kinds of situations and settings such as car trips to the hospital, show and tell at school, for family and friends in person or on the phone, and even for the doctors and nurses. The children have their "songs of love" always available to them whenever they are feeling down. To hear many the many "songs of love" that children have already received click on our jukebox found on our home page at www.songsoflove.org.
The Songs of Love Foundation has been featured on the Today Show, 60 Minutes, NBC Nightly News, CNN, Dateline and People, Parade and American Profile Magazines. Performers such as Ben Taylor, Jason Mraz, Michael Bolton, Billy Joel , David Lee Roth and Ronnie Spector have all contributed their voices on a "Song of Love" for an individual sick child.
The cost to run the entire organization, including hospital outreach, song production, operational expenses, etc., has averaged $250 per song per child, making Songs of Love one of the most cost-effective charities in relation to the one-of-a-kind everlasting therapeutic product that it produces. Sponsoring a "song of love" for a sick child is a wise social investment that keeps paying dividends in the form of repeated smiles whenever an ailing child hears his or her very own "song of love". Songs of Love has received the "Best in America" Independent Charities of America Seal which is only given to one percent of charities across America.

A donation of 2 Bitcoins will sponsor a "song of love" for a sick child and you get a CD copy of the "song of love" that you sponsored with your name on the CD booklet. However, any amount is appreciated. To donate Bitcoins please visit www.songsoflove.org/bitcoins.
