How does it work?

1. To purchase a bitcointalk account you don't need to make an account on our website, we will just need your email.

2. You head here to choose one or multiple accounts you're interested in: Bitcointalk accounts

4. You will now be asked to send the the amount in bitcoins to a secured wallet, you can copy the wallet address by clicking on "Copy Address"

5. Within 5 minutes you will receive an email with the user & password of the bitcointalk account, the email + password that is linked to the account, the stacked address and private key. With all that information you will be the true new owner.

Guys is it possible that the wallet is not working correctly ? I wnt to sell on cryptox, I go to send amount of Gbyte and type in the icon on top right corner to scan a QR code provided for deposit by cryptox .. It doesn't respond nor work for me... Anyone know what the issue is Huh

Can you please describe your issue with more details? Is it your first time on cryptox? There used to be a bug (maybe it's still there) that for displaying the correct QR code, you had to log out and log back in, maybe that's what you are facing ...

This has been the issue. Please report for fellow new users in upcoming events. I had to relog to make it work after activating my stuff !

thanks

Alright another aspect I need to cover.

I want this to be slightly successful so thus I need to advertise my journey. I can post on motorcycle forums of which I know plenty of so that's marked for success. Also more Bitcoin related, I will post on here as far as my mentions are and for the rest I have no clue tbh anyone have any ideas how to increase exposure a bit ? I could add youtube that's always a good one too but other then that I have no idea of it would be a good or bad idea and how I would get more exposure ?

5. What is the most efficient and best way to document my findings : Blog related posts and if possible Vlog channel
It may not be the most efficient way, but I'd apprecieate a topic here on Bitcointalk.

6. How to spot ATM's or where I can get cash for BTC and so on ... ?
I think this is cheating Tongue
Converting to cash is something you can even do before your trip, I wouldn't count it as using Bitcoins.

If you travel through the Netherlands: at https://www.thuisbezorgd.nl/en/ you can order food online from many different restaurants and pay with Bitcoin.

Cheating ? I will use tools and services linked to bitcoin too. I will try and make it as accessible as possible and thus it shuld be a nice experience to try to maximize myself with BTC use rather then just a creditswipe for instance. As mentioned before if I need cash lets say and there is an ATM why not use it ? THIS IS WHY they have that kind of stuff Tongue

Sounds interesting.
You can transaction with your bitcoin perfectly while traveling at least you're traveling in some place like singapore since there are soo many merchants out there are accept bitcoin as payment method. There comes a time when you must deal with an unexpected situation when you can't find any stores that accept bitcoin as payment method  ( i hope in europe there are more bitcoin's merchants out there) or confirmation got stucked ( i'm writing this while my transaction got stucked almost 10 hours, just saying )
I think you might create vlog for this,if you don't mind i'll absolutely watch it.

I will try and set it all up and then also do it yeah ! A vlog I don't know but videos will be part of it I assume.

Motorcycle trip and bitcoins.
by

I am very interested in something: Travel on my motorbike and actually use bitcoin and tools to get around. I want to try this out this year somewhere around May - June.

So my plan is to travel around for a couple of weeks in Europe for this year and want to prepare myself to do this fully BTC loaded. I think it would be amazing and show many people that there are multiple uses for BTC and also that this actually can work with all services and tools out there as we speak.

Now my question is how to get started ?

[ UPDATE 13/01/17 ]

1. What are some of the must have services while travelling abroad:

- VISA and debitcard: any suggestions Huh?

What other ways are international to use ?

2. I need to find BTC accepted spaces: coinmap.org

3. Accomodations : Cheapair.com

4. Provider for my phone for the upcoming event. So far I have mobile Viking but internationally I haven't yet got any knowledge about it as provider changes. Are there any providers who offer international coverage for travelers ?

I think that foods and drinks is pretty do-able. There are many places atleast in the Netherlands that allow BTC. I will try to pass through these spots while travelling obviously to maximize my BTC spendings.

5. What is the most efficient and best way to document my findings : Blog related posts and if possible Vlog channel

I also want to have this case study in which we show the REAL use of bitcoins and thus I need a valid and clear management and structured way to do this well.

6. How to spot ATM's or where I can get cash for BTC and so on ... ?

7. Internet/cellphone international. Any idea what is a good reference for cellphone or data use internationally and they accept BTC. I know of Mobile Viking which is my provider they allow to pay with BTC but is only for Belgium usage as far as I recon.

Any pro tips are welcome thanks guys !!
I will post a journey topic on this forum once I figure out the basics and actually start planning everything ! So keep an eye out on my posts Smiley

XMr or other ?
by
Sonny91BE
on 28/12/2016, 18:02:42 UTC
Hey guys,

In my eyes monero is a real good altcoin to invest in BUT it has already been pumped so hard and I kind of think I missed a lot of the potential short term ( the next year or so )
Would anyone still recommend buying XMR or better to withhold for a drawback ? Some opinions here would be great why or why not !

NXT has nearly doubled in value the last 2 weeks. coming from 3000 satoshi to nearly 6000 ! Prices aren't even at half the previous peaks .. Much more room to grow. Interesting to see how it will develop.

Nxt and the rise to the top.

I have spoken to many people on forums and IRL and the ones that have heard about NXT or the ones that already invested in it say it's a great coin. After I read up a lot of info I also decided togive the platform and currency a try ! I love the platform and in my opinion it is the best out there .. Now, what it all comes down to, is that Nxt has great development , a great active community and many features that overrule a lot of other coins if you look at it. BUT, the major and primairy role why it isn't succeeding is the lack of marketing done by anyone in the community. IT's funny that people put tons of effort in features and then don't use them to the extend they are ment to be used !

So how can I boost Nxt's marketing in a efficient way so that the overall crypto public, actually gets to know the coin and sees the benefits of it like I do ?
I'm already very active on the Nxt forums.

If you'd lik to know more about Nxt and all the stuff I praise take a quick look at https://nxtforum.org/ and take a quick browse in the sections to get a broader idea.

Anyone here that feels the SAME and has something to add to this lack of marketing ?

I was thinking...  Ripple may have gotten off with nothing but a slap on the wrist.  Other outfits might have folded if they were to face the same situation.

If faced with a 700K USD fine or possibly more (and maybe possible jail time), how would ___your 2.0 alt here___ fare?

Edit:  If you don't know what went on, read about it here  http://www.coindesk.com/fincen-fines-ripple-labs-700000-bank-secrecy-act/

Re: FinCEN Conducting 'Examinations' of Digital Currency Businesses

FinCEN has fined Ripple Labs and its subsidiary XRP II a combined $700,000 for "willful violations" of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). This is the beginning!
http://www.coindesk.com/fincen-fines-ripple-labs-700000-bank-secrecy-act/

I don't understand how crypto's like Ripple tend to stay on top and trusted while coins like Nxt which are amazing but get no recognition at all ..
