Just popping in to see if anything ever happened with SPN after I left the coin project.

This is a wordpress site and its purpose was to be a crowdfunding site for the competitive markets. Markets like Boxing, MMA, Obstacle course racing etc.

Looking to POW/POS and also new win/mac wallets. and android and iOS as well.

I spoke to an old friend back when this first started. Will be discussing a POS and possible POS/POW hybrid.

any interest in forking to POS coin?

I enjoyed the project back when it started. It was a big endeavor and needed more individuals to join in. Would like to start again but need more interest than people popping in asking if anything is happening. Need individuals capable in webdesign, marketing, wallet creation etc.

I still have the unfinished http://www.spartanglory.com/battlecry/ project. I am shy on free time to work on much. anyone wants to connect and work on that project I am open to it.

Any rogue Spartans working on anything out there?

Last year during startup I spoke with Spartan.com, since they called me wanting to know my intentions with the coin. And since the helmet resembled theirs. I informed them of the purpose of the coin, the plans with the spartan glory website and crowdfunding. They seemed very supportive but it hasnt gone any further than that. It could be very good to work with them or it could put us in a limited spot. hard telling.

As for a suggestion. I reconnected with an old android coder from way back and he has made a wallet with POS for android and iphone. I am looking at changing SPN to a POS coin and the question is.... if there is an issue converting the coin to POS would everyone be willing to work with a SPN v2 which will be POS and exchange SPN v1 for SPN v2 to keep this project rolling?

Looking into the android wallet with social media tipping option. Was a concept I liked back in the beginning and want to revive it. I provide more details once I get things moving again.

Also... i will need to look into getting my original nodes set back up. Are there any active nodes to connect to? wallet is stuck at 18 weeks.

Concepts:
1. total number of coins from 100 to 1 bil
2. Pos system for longterm holders ( 5-6% year )
3. remove selling walls and place them higher

if the community is all in... lets create a post and people need to quote it and add in what they are proposing for the coin and tag your name next to it. What I would like to see is what the community will offer. I can't do this alone on the 2nd go at it.

if the community wants to talk to me about the coin and is truly willing to participate... I can be tempted to work again. as from the beginning I had great plans for the coin but truly lacked the support. Everyone was waiting for this magic boom to happen as the altcoin market has had some big money makers. but that wasn't the design for the project. It takes time to grow and I had to step away. Too many resources and too much time was placed in this.

So hit me up. I'm open to anything.

I was contacted by a fellow spartan that there was a huge interest by the community again. I am all for this project as my original goals were why I wanted to create spartancoin. Unfortunately in the beginning I was tainted by the people I found to help that just dropped off and ran off with bitcoin. Just soured me to the project. So I backed off and moved on with life. If there is interest from the community then let's gather up ideas and who can do what and keep Sparta alive. This was a fun project and I'd enjoy getting that back.

What seems to be going down in the spartan community?

Hey Spartans... sorry for the lack of posting. I have had to work on some other projects for my regular job. The editing of the Spartanglory site is tedious to say the least.

To give everyone an idea of what I am working on and the direction I am taking this.
Spartanglory is in 4 parts.

Part 2 is social crowdfunding to bring awareness to anything and everyone. You all have seen it with thunderclap. Its not new but something I see as a great benefit.
Part 3 is financial crowdfunding again to bring awareness to anything and everyone. Its designed to encourage people to pursue their dreams and use SpartanGlory as a way to help them get there. Sports, Music, Dance, Arts etc... you name... if there is a competition for it... this is the place.
Part 4 is a storefront for spartanglory gear. (this one I wil hold onto as it will integrate into part 3 but I need to get that down before I share that)

and Part 1... ties all 3 parts into one interface on the main site. This isnt a simple webpage... its a very large project.


The mobile apps... I would like them completed as well... was waiting on dev to finish iOS version and get some testing going. Haven't heard from the dev in a few days but will get to everyone it asap. Once those are done I will be integrating this coin social project into the apps... which should allow sending of coins across all social networks without tipping bots.

PoS is on the horizon. My android guy has been looking at PoS for the mobile market and few other coins have said they will have it if not already. We may set the social project back in priority if this comes to fruition. As PoS is ultimately our last step.

Not that everyone could predict this. But I guess its good as no one had any coins stolen. I feel like its not worth the price that would be put on your head for doing something like this. Out of 70,000 users... I am sure one is crazy enough to hunt you down. It's not worth it.

We have a block explorer ready. I know a lot of you have been asking for a while now to check paper wallet balances. I will be assigning a domain name to it but you can see it here

iOS is still being worked on. Appreciate the messages with interested individuals. I will shoot emails out when testing will begin.
