In dem Bereich ist ja die ganz fette Kohle unterwegs..
Dezentrale Börsen wie Uniswap, Sushiswap, 1Inch haben längst mehr Volumen als Binance, Kucoin und Co.
2017 war noch die Zeit der Coins
Heute sind es eher die Tokens.Boson ist gerade äußerst günstig und eine sehr solide Investition !
ich glaube es kommt nicht auf token oder coin an das ist egal wenn die leute was hypen ist es wurscht ob token oder coin.

So if I don't do any yield farming, staking, etc. and just keep my tokens in the MetaMask Wallet, there's no risk of my wallet getting hacked ??
Only if someone hacks you computer and gets into your Metamask or retrieves your private key via scam/phishing..
I use Metamask for over 3 years and deposited my tokens to hundreds of sites/dApps, many of them very new and not well known. Never got a problem until now.
But for most safety it's the best to avoid any smart contracts and not doing DeFi or NFT minting stuff

so far I feel safe using metamask ,no suspicious activity because I've never been caught in a phishing method that requires logging in using a private key ! Yes, many people are often trapped by thief ,but not to me ! I always check the details of the link and often research personally the validity of the link with the information on google really helps me
That's how I fell for it once, I don't get how I caught up on such a stupid attempt. I was tricked through Discord, I made a question on a group, and he posed as an admin. Luckily, I quickly realized that something wasn't right and despite having my wallet compromised, I did not lose any funds. Definitely check validity's website before entering anything, and never input any important information on any site, Metamask even reminds you to never share your seed or private key.This is the standard scam attempt on Discord!
Impersonating the admin or developer and pretending to help the asking user..
It's like a disease on Discords crypto channels!
Once again, anyone really knows what NFT are made for? Or it's just made to hold some picture or gifs in your wallet? I just don't get the NFT purpose
The purpose is to have an absolute original you can't clone..
You can copy the jpg or gif millions of times but only the one in your wallet, coded in the blockchain via smart contract , is the real one and has the value (because people pay for)..
But, imo 99% of NFTs are just hype and insanity.. it's a trend of colorful pictures , but with a serious technological background.
What do you mean by support here? Those wallet is not showing your token balance in your apps?
In a private wallet like Exodus or a hardware wallet like Trezor, you can only hold the tokens that they support. ie. if you want to put Illuvium tokens there, and they don't support that token, then you will not be able to move your Illuvium tokens from the centralized exchange to your private wallet.
Regarding Metamask, some say it only support Ethereum based tokens ? I'm keen to use MetaMask, but I've also heard horror stories about YouTubers who got hacked using MetaMask, one of them lost almost everything ! ( I think they were staking ) So with MetaMask the risk of getting hacked seems too high !

Metamask supports everything based on ETH.
You can add Binance Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Moonriver, Fantom etc. etc.
I think they got hacked because of some shady smart contracts they accepted!
If you wanna use your tokens on any sites for staking, swapping, farming, liquidity providing and so on you have to accept to give permission to smart contracts... so better do a quick research before give permissions to dApps!!

i desperately need some help:
i bought the Erc20 token XDCE in 2019 on an exchange and hold it there until a week ago..
now i need the transaction hash oft that purchase as a proof for buying...
how to obtain that proof or TX hash? the exchange where i bought (p2pb2b) provides only date, amount, price in my trading history..
and ETH explorer etc. is not helping, don´t know how to find the old transaction (the buying) there...
tried the XDCE explorer as well but it seems to be impossible because i don´t have any search options for date..
with the deposit adress alone it´s not working.
i desperately need some help:

People should really be careful investing on this coin. Try checking the negative trust of the dev before participating in this trading competition. I usually check the reason why a certain dev is having the negative trust. And in my opinion, if a project is using fake team, high likelihood that they will not be so truthful with their intentions here. So have a safe trade in case you will join them.
indeed it is very big risky if there are people who want to invest in this coin because this project is not necessarily legit and it's better to think twice before investing in this project. trust gained by dev is because to make Fake team and Plagiarized whitepaper and of course it is not a real project. I think the people should avoid this kind of project if they don't want to lose money. Don´t think it´s risky...
A very super low price and a low available supply of over 300M coins is no risk if you throw about 50 bucks on it
Extreme LowCap coins can be a nice profitable gamble... because they usually only can go up.
