I have sent an email to that emailaddress aswell as to recoveries_2019
I emailed the email address in that post, its been months with no reply. I was actively posting on WO at the time, and even the person who reported the malware post had the remark that I was most likely hacked. I have no reason to waste years of reputation over a few bucks I'd get from spreading malware
The moderator gave you a link. Did you do what was required? Signed a message, sent a letter to the moderators?

If you can provide the necessary info and proof of being the original user the recovery team will be able to help you.
i did that, i had a signed message and i followed all the instructions, probably because i was banned aswell, its not just an account recovery thing
You may need a convincing story with enough evidences to prove that you lost access to your account and the malware was posted by the hacker. If the story is convincing then you can request the account recovery team.

so unsurprisingly, a mod banned the account, I posted an appeal in january to the email address given, but havent gotten a reply, and since its been a couple of months thought id bring it to attention again.

So what happens when WSBers realize that they can go the other way and also short a company over 100% into a bankruptcy? Are corporate raids/hostile takeovers next?
Nothing, your basically pooling together millions of dollars so you can give billionaires a better deal on a stock they already wanted to buy
There is no rule that your request must be resolved at a certain time, and since only 7 days have passed, I think you will have to be patient for some more time. You are not the only one who has this problem, and before you get your account back, everything should be checked - because anyone who does something bad can simply say that they have been hacked and ask for the account back.
Ok yeah, makes sense, ill just wait a few more weeks

Also it would be highly advisable to change the password and email once the account is recovered 
Why email too? Changing jsut the password should be safe right? I havent recieved a reply back yet, dont know how long it usually takes
There is a staked address from 2019, it might help if you sign a message from it.

Dont worry i have an actual staked address in the address staking thread too, i sent an email already, and yeah its banned it said so when i logged in, and it was hacked by the looks of it, someone posted malware with my account

Hey guys im not active here so i dont remember any names really but wasnt there some guy who was ultra bearish almost every day here? What happened to him? Is he still around? I remember at like around 10k he was telling everyone to short for financial freedom or something
