Re: My opinion about ETH
by
Stormyblue
on 07/08/2018, 22:04:25 UTC
In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
The tables have turned for  Ethereum. The current date of the market shows that Ethereum is not doing well at all. Even after bitcoin made some advances recently, Ethereum still maintained its price.
The market is getting more difficult  to predict. I don't  think that the end of year rush for btc and Ethereum will hold this year.

My country haven't  completely  accepted Bitcoin but I believe that may happen very soon.  The last public statement  about Bitcoin made be the government was that, " they consider Bitcoin and blockchain as a technology that has the power to cause major changes in the world". So early  adaption would  be much significant. However the government is still considering ways to implement them.

Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not?

I was doing some research online and I stumbled on this kind of news. https://news.bitcoin.com/since-embracing-bitcoin-robinhood-app-value-jumps-to-5-6-billion/

The article said that robinhood app after embracing cryptocurrency have its value jumped to 6 billion dollars after embracing bitcoin. This is a good sign that more and more people are engaging into bitcoin. If more business will enter into the world of cryptocurrency and will bring back the original purpose of cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange rather than just and object of income and a trading item then surely we could revolutionized the world of finance and economy.

With robinhood as an example do you think there will be more business online that will boom and will not go bankrupt due to cryptocurrency?

I guess its hard to determine such facts base on one example so let us wait for the future to unveil itself.
Cryptocurrency will help publicize the company to the world. Cryptocurrencies evolution  has created a big space for businesses to boom.  Because the crypt sphere is not that large and diverse, most of the businesses  getting established in this sphere are the first of their kind and therefore  receives attention from all players in the  sphere.

Bitcoin cannot become obsolete. Considering  the attention, popularity, and recognition  it has received  since it creation.
I believe  it will rather get augmented into the financial  mainstream and cause major changes or a even a revolution.

This shows that Bitcoin has gained a great deal of influence and acknowledgement in the world. The more it increase in market, then the more it gains the fundamentals to cause a revolution.
This also places Bitcoin in a better position to influence the worlds economy.

I am wondering if there's a huge probability of bitcoin investing will become a company's focus. Like making a company that specializes investing of bitcoins

Any thoughts? Smiley
i believe there are some trivial companies already established who focus on investment in Bitcoin and trading in cryptocurrencies.
So such a company helps new people willing to adapt crypto investment to make smart and informed choices of investment.

Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal?
by
Stormyblue
on 30/07/2018, 00:01:33 UTC
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

The goal of Bitcoin is more centered on becoming the revolutionary digital currency that will use the blockchain technology to ensure a decentralised peer-to-peer transaction on a secure network. So middlemen won;t be needed and people all around the world could still transact with trust.

Recently we all witnessed how people panicked as the price of Bitcoin went a little below $6,000. I really think below $4000 will cause much more panic to a about 70% of enthusiats

This is the world, people are allowed to have their own perceptions and ideologies. However, making perceptions with seeking much knowledge about a venture is a great mistakes because you can live to regret. I don't think people will still call Bitcoin a ponzi scheme if they tried to understand the concept of Bitcoin

Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?
by
Stormyblue
on 28/07/2018, 23:11:16 UTC
Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it

Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.

You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons
Bitcoin and the Altcoins would been better in terms of market stability if they are considered and utilized as just digital currencies. With this, Cryptos would have been adapted because of their capabilities and features of its technology - Blockchain.
These are the factors that make Bitcoin and every other Altcoin an incredible invention and not just the returns on investment.

Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors?
by
Stormyblue
on 27/07/2018, 21:41:37 UTC
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.
Bounty hunters suffer scams as much as investors. But as said experience matters a lot. So experienced ones may have their way out most of the time.
I think a bounty hunter who is experienced and doubles as an investor will possess powerful tools to win the market into his favor.

Re: Awareness is the biggest influence.

on 25/07/2018, 22:43:55 UTC
So we all know BTC drops when people sell their coins... but the peaking is purely because of investments...

The mall in S.Korea that started accepting BTC as of this month played a massive roll in BTC's growth. Obviously this is because BTC's awareness is growing!

Surely there are ways to bring the awareness of cryto to the population.

Are there any other 'blow ups' of crypto that you have heard of? Similar to the mall...
What are you doing to spread the awareness? Smiley
I have been able to change the friends' mindset about Bitcoin. Even the skeptics have now understood and expressed  great prospects for Bitcoin and Blockchain from the concept of decentralization and distribution of the ledger.

Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin?
by

on 24/07/2018, 16:34:33 UTC
Dear p4ekin,

I think you are not fully aware of the potential blockchain tech usage and how it can disrupt every industry by removing centralisation. And this Blockchain tech came from Bitcoin only.

And Bitcoin has the capability to replace Gold reserves and fiat reserves.
i agree with you mate, i see a lot of potential for Bitcoin even though the market has fallen sharply from the $15k-$17k as stated in the post above.
Already i have seen the blockchain being helpful for a lot of companies including health, financial. electricity, ISPs and so many others.
i believe there is not limit for the Blockchain - the decentralized and distributed ledger.
Bitcoin and blockchain will really experience a revolution in the near future and the price will be more stable and appreciating than it is now.

Re: Posts just for signature purposes or adding to knowledge?
by
Stormyblue
on 22/07/2018, 22:45:08 UTC
Well, a small observation I want to share. It looks like signature campaigns require so many posts in a week so people do not get the time to come out with very educative and informative posts. The person has to make as many posts as possible just to make the stakes for the week.I think the number of posts for signature should decrease so that people can make only educative posts on the forum.my humble opinion.
I will side with you on this. I think signature is just secondary to the purposes of making contributions on this platform. Signature campaigns establishes posting as a task rather than a contribution to enrich your knowledge or that of someone else.
If the number of postings are reduced then people can get time to read well and react meaningfully.

I saw here on bitcointalk forum mostly people ask what will happen with bitcoin in future? or Bitcoin in Future? I must say here to clear them one thing That BITCOIN is FUTURE. And we will see bitcoin ruling world very soon.

Link : https://www.cnbc.com/video/2018/07/05/bitcoin-cryptocurrency-seven-experts-future-of-bitcoin.html

Need your opinions?

I'm much enthused about how Bitcoin is transparent and allows decentralised peer-to- peer transactions.
This could pave the way to a future where people can actually live in a free world. You wouldn't need any middleman or government agency to access assets or keep them safe.
Bitcoin can truly function as a currency and make the world's monetary systems function better than it is now.

Some factors to consider when choosing an investment plan or portfolio are:
-the risk involved
-Interest or returns projection
-Duration of investment
-Amount of money
- and maybe decision to diversify.
Analysis of investements can be based on these factors
