Thanks, well that's some good news anyway. Unfortunately i don't have any Bitcoins anymore the lot have been stolen by this scam! But i still have some crypto assets in Alt's that i hold.
Ill be ready to get my BTG when the official launch happens.
Such a shame i lost it all.
I invested in the early days of 2014 (early believer) i invested £175 to get 0.35 BTC made some good trades in the market turned my 0.35 into 1BTC plus change!
Lately i reinvested £1000 @ £3250 to get my Balance to just short of 1.3 BTC now its all gone! Damn
Another advise: move on. I think you know as of this moment that you can't do anything to get it back. You need to start from the scratch. Stop reminiscing those moments that broke your heart. It will hurt and waste your time to start again.Ill be ready to get my BTG when the official launch happens.

I found other comments funny. It's like they punch you several times in the face like they are trying to make you realize something that you already knew and emphasize it more making you feel stupidier and stupidier.

A very expensive lesson. The only person at fault here is yourself, and your lack of knowledge. Someone with a good understanding of Bitcoin wouldn't touch a website asking for a key, seed or anything of that kind with a 10 foot pole.

I know! I was always aware that you should never submit your private key or SEED to anyone. That's is the crazy thing! I have been in BTC since 2014 and the crypto-markets i understand how Bitcoin and crypto work well.
My mind just blanked on the night, after a long day at work i was tired browsing twitter and did the most stupid thing i have ever done in my life!
Just gotta move on and buy more BTC now! More hard work for me!
We had been talking about claiming your BTG in Mycelium section. Summarization: As long as you control your private keys then your BTG is always there. You can import it to a wallet that supports BTG like Coinomi but make sure to send all your bitcoin funds to a new wallet before importing it for security reasons which I actually did when I claimed my BCH.

I'm a Idiot!I was on twitter last night and followed a link from user @btcgpu thinking it was the official @bitcoingold looked very similar i was tired had long day was careless!
Followed link to page: https://www.getbtcgpu.org/ that promises a easy way to claim your Bitcoin Gold from Electrum wallets i was thinking it looked legit entered my email and a password. Then it asked for my SEED for Electrum. Me being a total idiot i put it in!
Now i have had my BTC stolen in this transaction on Blockchain: https://blockchain.info/tx/2a8a36801d65c61c6d2d2b87eb16cf83f90c3136ee2fdc7dafb430ac6c32cc83
I know this is goodbye to my BTC most likley. But the funds are still held in the scammers address: 1HShXYRKhLvzYz7AnwoNJSGC5wVjdTije4
If there is anyone out their that could help me i would be eternally great-full.

This is crazy, sorry for your lost but your bitcoins are on the scammer's hands now, serve this as a big mistake and a lesson for you. The amount transacted was +1 BTC. And thanks for the warnng.

I was fooled because it though the link was from official @bitcoingold and i didn't take the time to look properly at the twitter account. Answer to BTG i was just curious and wanted the BTG to sell back-into more BTC! I made good profits from the BCash fork so was keen to get hold of them to sell them. I know you should never enter your SEED or Privatekey into any web page. But i Did

I think I'm both I'm not a huge fan of Bitcoincash so I am very ignorant on its latest news or updates that is why I'm asking thanks for correcting me will watch more on this thread and we'll see where it would lead us
Think of this as an altcoin with a huge premine. There is no reason for Bitcoin Cash to exist, not for anyone to use it. Additionally, they've been very mallicious and tried to steal the BCC ticker which is already taken. Bitcoin Cash = Bcash = BCH.Lauda is the kind of 'Fake News' spreader that makes me sell my Bitcoin Cash and is secretly buying it off me because he is a deceitful swine!

I think another cryptocurrency will eventually take over as a currency for exchange if the Fiat system were to fail for whatever reason. IMO, Dogecoin and Ripple are pretty good bets for achieving this function.
I agree Dogecoin and Ripple are better more tradeable in relation to the fiat markets. They need to implement a limit on Dogecoin soon so it can establish a price for its supply better!
I agree with this user that Dogecoin is a much better Crypto-currency to establish a good exchangeable alternative to fiat currency markets!
