To anyone who has a license, I dare you to submit a ticket to WHMCS and ask if your license is legit and describe how you got it. They'll say it's not legal or legit.

added seller on skype and he is a friendly and approachable guy. his not those sort of seller who disses you off when a problem occur.

I'd like to know what the license looks like. Is it WEBHOST-something?
I'll tell you this. If the license starts with WEBHOST-something, then it's definitely not legal and you basically get it through a web host that offers free WHMCS with one of its packages, and by manipulating the system by thinking it owes you a free WHMCS license.
Why would somebody buy shared accounts when there are tons of them for free out in the internet?
There aren't tons; and the few accounts that are free and actually work on the internet are already banned on most servers and there are thousands of people on that one account.

This user sold me 5 WHMCS licenses in return for 0.02BTC (It's not a lot but hear me out).
Upon buying these licenses, he managed to get me 5 licenses reasonably quick. Just to be safe, I contact WHMCS to check out the licenses. Upon validation from WHMCS they seemed to be valid. But, WHMCS then asked me if I'd had bought these. I replied saying Yes I have. WHMCS then replied with this:
