PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANYMORE DEPOSITS AND READ THE IMPORTANT MESSAGE BELOW

Today, at 3:25AM GMT we had been breached without any warning at CryptoClone. Our database and our website as a whole has been breached and we have no access to any of our resources.
As you have noticed, all payout addresses were changed and are now being redirected to the hackers addresses. Not only this, the wallets storing for up to 72 hours of payments were compromised, and we are left only with a small reserve in cold storage that were not being used at the time of the breach
We are doing our very best to regain access to both the website and database by contacting our hosting providers, though at this point we have no information what so ever about how this happened (since our servers were very tightly secured) and who was behind this.
However in saying this, a suspect is http://cryptoclone.ga as they have directly copied files we owned here at CryptoClone, so it is safe to assume they have had access to our server in the last 24 hours, and we are looking into whois information and the owner of the domain to take this up further.
For now, we can offer a 25% refund on investments, as this is all we have left in our reserves. Unfortunately, this will come at a first come first serve basis, and you must provide your username on site, your investment address (original as we have a backup of the investment table) and the amount you invested and were paid. We will pay the remainder + 10% for the troubles to as many people as we possibly can. Please email support@cryptoclone.com to apply for this rebate.

Again, we urge that you DO NOT make any further deposits, as the site is no longer in our original control.

We are very sorry to inform all of our clients of such news, as we were growing very well and were extremely happy with the rate of satisfaction our clients.

From the team at CryptoClone LLC.

**we ask that you quote this post to ensure everyone is aware of the situation and to urge not to make any new deposits

Sent an email as well.

2-factor is broken on the first page. There is a workaround though, but it would be nice if this were fixed on the front page.

If you check the EMC2 slack out they are working on the issue and the max lost on bittrex is 5K which. It also seems that the double spend is related to a buggy code. So hopefully they will be able to sort it out soon.

Quote From Slack
"There is one little light out there: as our investigation so far, it is very likely that those double spends are not being produced on purpose, but on buggy code."
"So the guy mining them might not even know about the dilemma."

From what I read it was 5k total which was impacted, and this was not even an intentional attack. Not the end of the world, and they caught the issue early. So no reason to panic.

Improvements and development of the coin leads to higher prices in the intermediate and long run. Things begin to snowball.
The team is growing. Progress is being made, the value increases. It is becoming more resilient when those bloodbaths happen. And stays up when it shifts upward.
Focusing on super-short term gains is just pump and dump scammy crap, or pure hype. Both which end in pain, and alienate folks. There is no growth there in the intermediate and long term, both in price and development. Price matters, but without a solid team and growth, real increases do not happen. You end up rotting on the vine. What I have seen over the last three months is a growing team with a great strategy to push this coin forward. The coin has gone up in value as a result.

This is just a small thing, but shouldn't it be emc2.foundation, not einsteinium.org. Since that is the new site. The old site is gone. Just something I noticed when reading that page.

Looking at the history, the current Devs took over from the original ones who handed it off at some point. They basically have been working on this coin even when it bottomed out at 25 satoshis. So my guess is they hold a nice stake in the coin from buying low, but there are also other folks who hold this coin.

The reality is the coin is significantly undervalued. They have a dedicated team who have been working and accomplishing targeted goals. The total supply is about 300 million, about 200 million which has been mined, unlike some coins which number in the billions. Its sell walls are also relatively weak in comparison. The foundation has a stake, but I have seen it used for projects they back based on the foundations mission.

This is just my opinion though, and you may agree or disagree. I have been lurking for a few years, I have seen the worst when it was 25, and I have seen its current highs. The dedication of the current devs should be commended. They have pushed forward with both the lows and highs for years.

then there are those like us ( cwi ) ...

we hold NO coins - but are more than happy to support ( and subsequently be part of ) a team that are dedicated and 'good' people ... as well as 'devs' ...

this is a good project - see it for what it is ...

you are delusional if you support a coin you don't hold = that's silly rabbit Cool

I know one more supporter that has no coins at all Wink

so what exactly are you supporting? Smiley

Bluelab is the lead tech/coder for the coin. It is on the foundations website. He and his team is the one who is behind all the recent upgrades to the coin.

Bringing on new people is never a bad thing, even if they do not (yet) have a stake in the currency. Especially if they are helping things progress and doing the hard work of coding projects like bluelab. It should be noted, the foundation has been bringing on new people to help out, that is always a good thing.
The two foundation board members (Vavarian and Djnocide) though I think do have a stake, and they have been keeping this going for a few years now.
Again I am just an observant investor in the coin who bothered to read through the threads and has been lurking for some time.

All the work being done is great.
But is there any way you can put all of this stuff on the original post for this thread.
Just digging through 300+ posts may make it difficult for those who are new to the coin, or researching it.
Thanks!

Take a look on the first page and original post.
Let me know if you like it.
What info would you like to see there?

Regards,
Sipecusa

Looks much better!
The alt. bloodbath right now is not bothering me. If anything it is a buying opportunity right now.
I have seen way too many of these. Some of us are in it for the long run.

I have been lurking this thread. I am really encouraged at everything that has been happening the last few months. Things are definitely moving in a positive direction.
I definitely think it is still undervalued but the madness of Pumps and alt coin panic from poliniex and kraken DDOS attack have lead to fluctuations like all alt-coins in recent months. Keep it up on your end though through the ups and downs. I am glad to have a stash of it.
