Eth has spawned the ability and mindset of the people to create on DLT. This is its major benefit, I think the future is a hybrid block chain with parts of Eth forked and other private code integrated!
my all time fav coin that I don't even mind going broke for is Xinfin. Partners like Omfif and Ramco. If you like government regulation sandbox, low mcap, Singapore based under the radar on purpose projects then XDC is your fav alt coin too! 
So I saw this XINFIN on CMC skyrocketing last week and went to do some research on it. Besides that its hybrid blockchain, a fork of quorum from JPMORGAN, got Roger Ver and Mate Tokay as advisors, they have partnerships with Ramco Systems, part of a $1 Billion conglomerate. They have tradefinex for globaltrade and finans. When I was looking around I saw they have XDC which is their main coin on the blockchain and then XDCE which is an ERC20 token for liquidity and exchange listing which is swappable 1:1 with XDC. I asked if there was a chance to buy large quantities and it seems one could get an awesome deal if buying more than 50 ether of XDC on alphaex. I was wondering if we could make a pool and see if people are interested so we can get some bonus on the buy? I know its not ICO but since there is this chance of buying large quantities then why not

Interesting partnerships being developed...please dump more..plleaassae!!!! This coin alone, will make you pay for your complacy. Fomo no fomo no to the moo .
Coins with high community support and good real life use cases might survive for longer term as demand for which will always tend to high. But this doesn't always comes true for example bitconnect Ponzi got so much community support before getting busted.
It also depends upon roadmap of the token and Dev team behind the coin. I think hardly 20-30% of existing coin might exist for next decade.
All that kept bitconnect alive was the support from community and the investment returns that people were making from it. I didnt really trusted bitconnect enough from the starting to invest in it cause I never really saw anything of much utility in that coin and what it had was nothing different that what other coins were offering. So its mandatory to do research and analysis before investing in a coin rather than just pouring in money because some people said or you are watching it grow past few months or year.It also depends upon roadmap of the token and Dev team behind the coin. I think hardly 20-30% of existing coin might exist for next decade.
