It looks like the price is settled in the mid 4000s and will remain here for awhile, this all changes if Gulden is unexpectedly added to Poloniex before PoW2, then who knows how fast Gulden will reach $1 billion marketcap. It is better for long term growth the coin remains off Poloniex or most coins will
end up with Poloniex traders.

While I do agree Poloniex would give a 1000% boost to Gulden , It will be short term affair and people will be expected to buy Gulden at much higher prices. This wouldn't be fair on new people.

The advantage of Gulden having such a low price compared to other coins on Poloniex is that more people get to experience more natural growth.

I don't think the devs should get disheartened by what is going on in Poloniex. I am not sure what is going on and if the pumps there are real or not. I spoke to HR in PMs and he suggests there is a lot more people coming to cryptos and because Poloniex is the largest exchange they going there first.

Gulden devs you are honestly the best , don't let the poor price or should I say unfair price demotivate your work. Your work on projects like PoW2 is what crypto needs to move forward.

I had to take some profit out been supporting dgb for a long time , my stockpile needs to be shared with more people. Better for distribution.

How much longer to wait for the future of blockchain?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is only one coin that is over 3 years old that has never been on Poloniex and value and community continues to increase. This is Gulden but that is because the devs have requested not to be added and they probably have the best development outside of bitcoin and ETH.

Every coin in the top 20 is listed on Poloniex but there was definitely some shady insider info taking place with those coin removals. Some coins were pumped and then dumped just before the removal announcement.

Maybe it was coincidence but it did look suspect to me. I do think dgb will lose 70-80% of its value short term if removed from Poloniex but like Gulden it can thrive without Poloniex in the long term.

Gulden has been giving well over 100% ROI every since 2014.

Coin hit a low of 65 sat in 2014 and today is steady at 3200 sat and much higher bitcoin price 3 years later. Next year with all the projects coming out I am expecting 10000 sat for Gulden.

There will probably be some pump and dump coins that will offer better returns though if you trading actively.

I know the Gulden lead developer left out segwit on purpose(after the codebase update) as he had some reservations about it, instead they spent the time on revamping the wallet and adding new innovative features. I am sure digibyte has a plan and I am still heavily invested but if bitcoin decide not to go with Segwit and dgb moves onto Segwit , can it be rolled back and only have normal tx's ?

Any reason the wallet still look the same as before or was this mainly beneath the hood update?

I also support Gulden and the community there is desperately waiting on this new Prime project. They won't have time to help out. Groestl devs are your best option.

The first 2 points can be debated but your third point is rubbish. I also follow digibyte and since June last year they announced they were doing the code base update. It's April and they only busy testing this and still having some issues. Gulden announced the 1.6.0 update in August last year and finished it in December along a whole wallet UI change, new innovative features like link and the accounts system as mentioned by other posters. Desktop wallets also can be used to pay at bitcoin merchants and Europeans can pay from the wallets direct into bank accounts.

Digibyte is only doing the code base update while Gulden did this and much more in far less time. You should all be worried about Prime because it's going to kill everything else out there and finally put Gulden on the map.

Let's all be honest with ourselves. No one has a clue that posts on this forum about PRIME. Can we give the development until May to show us what they have done?

Blocks appear to be coming in faster then before. Over 10000 blocks in 2 days.

A lot of the FUD is from traders wanting to get in before Prime is released. I don't know if anyone is dumb enough to dump this coin but if they are dumb enough to listen to the trolls then they deserve to lose the Gulden. Since 2014 the team has never given any indication they are going to abandon the project.
