Thanks, but the coin already exists just need a GPU miner developed to mine instead of the current CPU wallet mining.

This is for a permissioned mining coin that currently only is CPU mined but the wallet is SHA256 based. Do you have experience or know of anyone that I can contact? It is hard to find people for this niche type work. But to your point I don't care I would be happy for a prog to modified for asic as well I just need the ability to throttle it back as the network hash isn't that high being CPU
Thanks

I'm sorry. Did you say a GPU miner for SHA256?  Cheesy

You will go bankrupt just trying to generate a valid share on probably any mining pool using a GPU for that.
GPU < 1GHS
ASIC > 10,000 GHS

Right there. Unless your GPU costs less than about $1, and your electricity is free, I would advise you to replan your strategy.

Looking for a developer to create a GPU mining program for a Bitcoin core SHA256 based wallet coin. If interested/experienced please PM for information.

I don't want any responses about how it is not feasible to solomine because that is always the answer I get and I don't care AT ALL if it is feasible. I just want to know if there is a mining program that supports get block template and AMD GPU's for windows because I can not find anything.
I think sgminer supports solo mining just fine, it's usually more about the wallet than about the miner (some wallets don't allow solo mining). Not sure about BWK, just run it with "server=1" in the config and see whether it accepts your miners. I'm not going to say how "it's not feasible to solomine" Smiley cause it obviously depends on the total hashrate available to you. I am going to say though that mining NIST5 with amd cards is a waste of hashpower, it's kinda like mining ETH with GTX 1080 / 1080 Ti cards. AMD's are no good for NIST5, nvidia cards are much better at this algo. If you want to get BWK, mine the proper algos with your AMD cards (the ones they're good at like ETN/Cryptonight) and then exchanges those coins for BWK, you'll get a lot more of them this way.
Thanks, good advice!

Hey Bulwarkians, Is there any mining software to solo mine with AMD GPU's using windows anymore? OK SO who are the sockpuppets here, just raise your hand.

I don't understand your paranoid reasoning? I asked a question someone answers with a lot of detail I said thanks. How does that make anyone a sockpuppet?

Where are people getting their BTG addresses that I see on the pools?

There are only two ways to GEN your own 'G' adddress for BTG.

1.) Fall back to an old rev on github.com/btcgpu, about two weeks ago they put some code in src/bitcoind.cpp that does an abort if your not running '-testnet'

2.) 2nd way is to use the current code as it is on github.com, clone&pull the code, and go into the source and comment out the two lines that call for the exit().

Once  U have 1or2 above done, then run the daemon without the -tesnet, then go use 'bgold-cli getnewaddress' and you will get a 'G' Address, make sure to DUMP the priv-key and print  all, cuz god only knows what these idiots will do in the future, these people don't know C++, they haven't a clue what they're doing, this is going to become the worst ICO/BITCOIN/FORK-FUCK in history of BTC.

The default way 'THEY' want U to do it is run daemon with -testnet, which will generate a 'mn....' address, that is fine, but the pool.gold only 'pays out to G', get it?? Only insiders who have G get paid, U got to love these people.

Once the bitch goes live the idiots will be mining to these non 'G' addresses an of course all the share/blocks found will go to the pool ( insiders ).

No real point of running the code and feeding it seed's the code is hopelessly fucked up,

Chinese ASIC guy, had a blind one handed 'programmer' ( former hw guy ) name 'hx', then they brought in the BULGARIAN team, ran by PROF-Starbuck.

All these guys take good advice on github.com, and delete it, so U just know they're like the ostriche,

Here's the good news, for past two weeks IDIOTS are mining to the pool.gold ( all owned by same BULGARIAN MOB ), 1000K  sols/sec per day of hash, at current ZEN-CASH, that be $1,000 USD/day of real pool hash redirected to however they want to make money. The only pool that works is pool.gold, but "WORKS" means redirecting hash, all the other pools aren't running cuz there is no software that works! Well except for the code pool.gold runs,  Lot's of scammers involved in this bitch, dozens if not 100's.

Stealing BTC seems to be the common, wrap your head around that!
Damn that was more information than I thought I was going to get lol. Thanks!

Any idea about trades supporting fork? I remember Bittrex and Cryptopia supporting BCH.... any word about this one?

So far Yobit is supporting it, I guess more will come up soon

Do you have any proof or link about that support from yobit? I haven't seen their any words from their about the support to bitcoin gold.

Still not, bittrex is having some complains about their closure of accounts so they have to resolve it first before showing interest or support to btc gold.
The BitcoinGold website http://btcgpu.org/ lists yobits as well as HitBTC BitStar and beatcoin exchanges

This is kind of interesting project, at this stage it already listed in exchanger. That  is a big step toward a good point of growing project.
IoP uses an open social graph which is kind of like a global map of people. Here is a quick vid of a couple use case examples for this type of infrastructure. IoP has so much potential stay tuned and get involved.

IoP is an up and coming game changer offering P2P commerce potentially cutting out the "middleman" even though it is decentralized. Made possible by it's development of the location based network and profile server. It will also be a side chain of the Libertaria project. So much activity lately! been following for some time and excited for the future that is finally rolling out!

Is it possible to solo mine with sgminer? If not has anyone done any research on how to put together a stratum/getblocktemplate proxy?

How many and of which cards do you have? 4xx or 5xx?
4 radeon cards
1 x  480
1 x  390(which does better than the 480)
2 x  290

Ya I don't think you would want to solo mine with because it would take ages to find a block. I would just stick to yiimp or supernova.
Even if that is the case, that is a distraction from my original question. I wish to know if it is possible to solo mine with sgminer and if so could someone could give me pointers on how to make this happen? Thanks

Is anyone running the web app network spammer to help transactions on the IOTa network?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Iota/comments/6zcrj3/want_to_help_the_iota_network_i_made_a_simple/

Edit: I guess there aren't much IOTA fans left here.

If you want to help the IOTA network, there is a tool now to help confirm more transactions. It can be run in a browser by downloading a zip and running it on your PC (in a browser).

It may take the interest of the IOTA crowd from the vulnerability discussion for a moment.

See for more details: https://steemit.com/iota/@wekkel/iota-transaction-spammer-help-the-network
So does this spammer you are talking about have anything to do with Bitfenex's freezing of Iota?
https://bitfinex.statuspage.io/
"IOTA deposits and withdrawals temporarily paused at the recommendation of the IOTA core developers while they investigate a possible network spam attack."
