Re: Every altcoins has chance
by

I've seen several times that every altcoins doubles the price in a single day which means every coin or token has its opportunity to boom. IF BTC price does down they drop but suddenly they skyrocket by the next day itself, it's pretty hard to judge which coin might pump for the next day. Is there any specific website which might help me to identify? Kindly share your thoughts.

Okay I can't actually recommend a website at the moment but if you are looking to invest in a good coin, you could have a look at $CWS, Seascape Network native token.  Research more on it to make an informed decision.

Re: Are you still on NFT's?

on 27/08/2021, 17:03:11 UTC
I have read the news that NFT Sales Slump by 90% sales this month, Over these previous months it's been declining, Is this a sign that it's already dying? or it's just a method to gain and become durable and scalable for the long term? What do you think?

Your speculation of the slump is partially true but not entirely. Just as different coins have different result peculiar to each projects, so does NFTs. NFTs arent tied to a specific project hence the experience of one project can't be used to judge another. In for instance Seascape Network - a gaming platform built around the DeFi and NFT economy, a partnership was established with Binance to bring to individuals limited version of an exclusive NFT of high value. This is same for other solid projects. In a nut shell, what I mean is generalisation doest work in the NFT or blockchain economy. Its always best to deal with each project separately.

- Kyber Network

- LoopRing

- Icon

- Bat

- Terra

- Ontology

- Iota

- Enjin

These coins are in the top 100 at cheap prices with low max supply, which of these coins has been established for years maintaining its top 100 rankings + which ones haven't been heavily premined + has a real world usage + not a shit/scam coin + has good fundamentals + very active project with regular updates from the coin team.

Which of these coins are new if not established and in what trend? De-Fi?

Thanks for sharing your pick. A coin I recommend for a buy and hold is $CWS, Seascape Network token. This is because Seascape Network has / is still establishing  new partnerships that has strengthened its coin. Some partnerships include that with Binance, Coin Market Cap, WowSwap, ApeSwap, Wault Finance BSCStation and so on. You could check it out.

Re: Which coin is more green?

PoW coins that's relatively low in traffic, newly created with low amount of miners or PoS coins. elon's view regarding energy consumption feels so random though, he prefer coin that's green but choose doge instead even though there's other coins that are greener and better. however, Nano have been discussed a lot recently and people keep saying that it's greener than doge by a lot so maybe nano is the good option here if we're talking about low energy consumption.

Lol... Well you might probably be right but I feel one's answer to such a question is limited to what he/she is familiar with as there are tons and tons of coins  that one might probably not know about. In my opinion, one of the most green coins right now is $CWS, Seascape Network token. You could have a look at it...

Re: NFT is an interesting space
by
Tegxy
on 13/08/2021, 12:53:07 UTC
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) has been under the radar for the longest time, other than when cryptokitties jammed the Ethereum network.

The initial impression of NFTs is just a nice to have collectible, but if you look deep enough NFT can actually lead the industry a long way.

The most interesting concept of NFT at the moment is in the traditional gaming industry, all the characters, items, skins, equipments and skills you own in one game can only be used within that game itself.
But with NFT, all these collections that you have could potentially be transferable and usable in other games as well. One significant difference is the money you spent in one game will not go to waste, while the other risk that are taken off is if the game developers does not want to support the game anymore, your collections can still be used in other games.

At the moment, gaming is the largest potential for NFT, but lets not exclude any possibilities of it being used in other industries.

Really nice to have you talk about this. I am familiar with certain Seascape Network NFT games as well; Profit Circus, NFT Brawl, Staking Saloon and Scape Forum... The wonders of NFT gaming, being able to have fun and earn is simply amazing... isexciting.

Hello,
As we have seen, the NFT game has had a strong development recently, even when the entire market is on a downward trend. It seems due to covid 19, when people stay at home and they both want to play games and make money.
In your opinion, which NFT games will develop in the near future: AXS, Alice, TLM, Mana, Sand, ENJ...?

In my opinion, play to earn games you could look into participating in include Profit Circus, NFT Brawl, Staking Saloon and Seascape Forum, all found only on the Seascape Network platform.

Re: NFT Gaming/ Virtual world, logistics of getting young walletless users involved.
by
Tegxy
on 13/08/2021, 12:41:01 UTC
Hello Guys.

I think it is quite certain that NFTs will have a huge roles in the future of gaming.

It will be different kinds of games too, from weapons and upgrades to shooters to virtual world items, pieces of virtual land, or owning a piece of virtual casino inside a virutal world that would make you profits any time someone games at your slot machine or blackjack table, the possibilities are really  amazing.

We can take a game like Minecraft for example, a pre NFT game and see how popular it is, it is also extremely popular with people under the age of 18.

We  now already have some similar open world games that use NFT and they will only keep getting more popular.

My question is since we can assume that a huge part of demographic that would like to play those games are people under 18 that  cant even legally open  an account at an exchange to buy or trade cryptocurrency or purchase in-game tokens then  that is probably a huge roadblock for mass adoption for a key demographic of games.

Does anyone know of how these issues are getting addressed or have any insight or opinions on this?

Thanks.

I don't think your statistics on those below 18 being dominant in NFT gaming is right. How about you look at NFT games as PS5? A high percentage of adults play it, don't they? NFT gaming is way more than that. Having the opportunity to earn passively is what any adult wouldn't want to toy with. Everyone is looking to earn more daily and play to earn games has so far sufficed as a good way of making that possible. I don't think most adults would be willing to loose out on such an opportunity.

I noticed you talked about your favourite game earlier. Mine so far is Seascape Network's play to earn games; Profit Circus, NFT Brawl, Staking Saloon and Scape Forum. You could check them out...

Wow what a list you have there... Sure, NFT games comes with risk just like any other investment in the world. Risk is quite inevitable. You can only try to mitigate it by investing in the right NFT gaming platform once you find it.

Speaking of gaming, my favourite so far is staking saloon season 2, a Seascape Network play-to-earn game. If you are looking for a play to earn game, give it a try...

Re: Taking Profits on Altcoins Strategy
by
Tegxy
on 07/08/2021, 14:52:49 UTC
I am looking to take some profits on my altcoins after the next big pump. Need some advice if my strategy is good or not. I'm based in the US.

1. When I start to take profits from my altcoins do I just sell them on the exchange for dollars and then buy stablecoins with that? Or do I somehow trade the alts for stables? Does is matter since selling or trading them are taxed for capital gains regardless?

2. Once I take the profits in stablecoins, is putting them on something like Blockfi to gain interest the best thing to do while I wait for another dip to possibly reinvest them?

3. Once the bull run is over I'm most likely going to keep all my bitcoin and probably most of my Ethereum. I'll sell most of my alts for stablecoins but keep small bags of the ones I want to keep through the bear market. Is this a sound strategy?

4. During the bear market is taking a cash loan using my crypto as collateral (BTC and ETH) a good way to defer capital gains taxes? Won't I have to pay these taxes eventually? I know there are drawbacks to this strategy but it seems like a lot of experienced people do this.

5. After the bull run should I just put my stablecoins in something like Blockfi during the bear market? Or is cashing out to dollars and investing in something like real estate a good way to defer capital gains taxes?

I know these are a lot of questions but any advice is greatly appreciated, this forum has been extremely helpful for a noob that has been in the space for about 4 months now. Thanks!

1. Have a look at your options. Remember gain is the focus. Which is less expensive? Change to dollar or stables? Use a procedure with lower fees.
2. I can't say much about blockfi at the moment as I haven't invested with them but if you are pretty much convinced after your research, you can go ahead. Consider diversity as well for interest generation such as staking or farming on seascape Network.

Re: Passive income

What are some of the best ways to earn passive income right now? I was thinking about staking $CAKE, just staking it and not using liquidity farms. But not sure how profitable that would be, compared to some other methods. I have a 5000$ capital.

One good way to earn passively in the crypto space is harnessing the staking opportunity provided by Seascape Network. Seascape Network recently partnered with Wault Finance to provide a staking opportunity to individuals on a 242% APR gain. You could research on it.

Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it.
by
Tegxy
on 07/08/2021, 14:33:02 UTC
Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

Hahaha... You aren't wrong atall but this isn't common to parents alone as individuals in other categories share same belief as well. I think it is okay if one chooses not to. Choice of Investment is a personal decision... Your statement "my family looses the chance to become rich" caught my attention. I think you should consider another strategy to help take your family to the point you want them to get to. There are a whole loads of opportunities in the crypto space an individual can participate in to himself/herself and family live pretty much comfortably in a higher standard of living. Staking, farming, mining, play-to earn, just name it. You could participate in such activities to earn good passive income. Need a recommendation? Check out Seascape Network. A whole lot of opportunities in that platform 👍
