Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins

I started back in high school. After saving up all my money for a while. I bought 3.5 for around $650. I was a a nervous wreck because I was worried that I wouldn't get the coins once I payed, I got them though. After that I got into mining(was still profitable for little guys) using my gtx 670. I wanted more hashing power so I bought those little usb miners and 2 usb hubs/2 fans. Had a few Gh, but It quickly became useless. I bought One of those block erupter boards, but sadly I never knew how to set up the wiring and voltage ect... I then just sat on my coins for awhile. Fast forward to 2016, I had some bills that I had to pay, and at the time I had no job. So I had sold 2.2 for around $1300. I now hate myself for selling them because I could have almost $10,000 in my savings instead of making $190 a week at my job. On the bright side I still have 1.7 and I made money off my initial investment, so I know I shouldn't be annoyed by it, but I still cant shake the feeling of selling those 2 at that price.

I have been out of the bitcoin game for awhile now and wanted to update my wallet for obvious reasons, also due to the alert keys warning I get(no idea what that is.) I just want to make sure that I don't mess it up and have to jump off a skyscraper Grin

So long story short something happened to my most current backup Embarrassed, but I still have a backup of that encrypted wallet, but a few coins were sold after that backup was made. Does that matter at all?

I am almost done loading up the blockchain, I see my wallet and the amount I last had in it. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I would love to download this, but I keep getting malware warnings. I even put it in VirusTotal, and it got a bad rating. Is there a safe way to download this?

I agree with hamburgerhelper and I think we all expect these bubbles to happen from time to time.
