Hello everybody, I am new to the bitcoin and bitcointalk forum. I just wonder what/who make the price of bitcoin, and what does it depend on?

I think the people we called whales are the one who plays the price of bitcoin in the market. They are the one who invest too large amount of money. And also i bitcoin, we also have these crisis where in it is normal for bitcoin to fluctuates sometimes.

i do a bot game that pays me with some bitcoin for every game i do? but I doubt if this game really pays me after I get enough bitcoin to withdraw?

You may just be a victim of these scammers. I've also experience to play a game like that and I did not get something in return. Stop playing these kind of games. Usually, they just want to earn likes, views or downloads.

I think bitcoin could well reach $2,000 - $3,000 if this $6,000 support get's broken. If you would sell now chances are high you could buy back and thus double your btc holding.

This is not financial advice, just a thought.

And this is not a good year for crypto I believe. Late 2019 we'll see some action.

We cannot predict what would be the price of bitciin this year but it is all connected with the demand of the people to bitcoin, also to the whales, etc. The more the demand, the higher the percentage that bitcoin will pump. The more the whales hold their bitcoins, we can assure that the price of bitcoin will remain or pump unless they will sell it and it will have an impact to the price of bitcoin.

by
The Monkey King
on 27/06/2018, 16:26:36 UTC

Re: Is crypto legal in your country?
by

Illegal organization of ICO. Participation in the ico is not punished in any way. maybe there will be a punishment in the future. We all want to avoid taxation to get more profit. KYC allows tax authorities to see my income. For me it is bad, for the state it is good.
I agree, In my country it was not illegal to join bounty campaigns. We are also free to use and transfer bitcoin. In fact there are banks who was party with our bitcoin wallet. But the sad news in my country was people think that bitcoin was scam. People are still have lack of knowledge about what bitcoin really is.

maybe what I can do with the savings I have will give my money to buy cryptocurrency like bitcoin for future savings because I see a very good potential in cryptocurrency.
What im going to do with it was continue saving and some of it, I will start to build my own house and buy a car. I will also continue investing for the preparation for the future of my children. i learned how to set aside now my wants to my meeds because the last time that I spent my money to my wants was become worthless.

Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings?
by

on 11/06/2018, 23:13:25 UTC
Strange, I did not think about this, but all the long ICO that I saw gave worthy awards even for the value declared in advance, and not the one that is on the market.
Yes the earnings from bounty was not depend on how long it takes and even it takes too long that doesnt mean that you will get few earnings. It still depend on the campaign and on how long it is reach during the campaign. Never think that it was like that, just trust the manager and do your job as a participant of it.

Re: Bounty and too many participants
by
The Monkey King
on 10/06/2018, 23:50:40 UTC
In my opinion, this is not such a big problem, because I can distribute the participants for all other projects! After all, in large projects, thousands of participants come, and in smaller projects only dozens of participants! But the quality of the project and its growth depends on advertising!
It was okay even there are many participant, in fact it will be a big help for their project to become more successful. The manager know that he can manage it and I think he will just have limit if he cant manage too many particapant, but most of the bounty campaigns are limitless. Only depends on the ranks of every participant that they are accepting.

Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto
by
The Monkey King
on 06/06/2018, 13:16:03 UTC
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

Great thing you had learned your lesson. Next time you should manage your time. You should not really rely on bitcoin instead consider it as an alternative source of income. You should not depend your expenses on it because we do not always have income in bitcoin and another reason is its volatility, you should focus more on your current job and use your free time in bitcoin.

Re: Ano ang back up plan mo pag namatay ka.?
by
The Monkey King
on 06/06/2018, 12:44:26 UTC

Re: What you need to know before investing in crypto
by
The Monkey King
on 01/06/2018, 15:35:50 UTC
A news from ABS-CBN, a Filipino Media and Entertainment Group.

MANILA - An investor who saw a 39,000-percent increase in his bitcoin investment warned on Monday that many cryptocurrency investment schemes right now are scams.

Emerson Fonseca, Philippine head of NEM Foundation, told ANC's Market Edge that since he started trading bitcoin 2 years ago, a lot of scams have cropped up because people don't understand cryptocurrencies.

What are your opinions?

Ofcourse you would not risk your money to something (companies or any investment thingy) that you did not observe and study first right? Before investing in cryptocurrency you must know the important details of the company you are investing to. But sometimes we cannot really prevent scams especially when the company that you are up to experience bankrupt. All you need to do is to prepare yourself with the risks you might face.

Re: BTC transaction fees is going down.

From last few days, btc transactions fees has been reduced remarkably. Even its transactions fees are now lower than bitcoin cash. It is really a great news for btc trader i think. How it can help the current market?? Share your logic please .

It is really better for the bitcoin traders especially to those newbies who are going to trade small amounts. because before when a newbie trader transacts it money it costs a high amount because that time the fees are higer but now that it reduces, it is a good news for all traders. Well, I think about the market is it will stay still. It will not crash or anything because many traders who waited for this time to happen would now pay for these fees and transacts more in the market.

Re: When the crypt-currency becomes a disease
by
The Monkey King
on 01/06/2018, 13:58:14 UTC
Would the dependency on crypto-currencies become a real disease? This is what the Castle Craig Hospital in Scotland thinks. Indeed, several patients would be dependent on the trading of virtual currencies . Doctors compare this addiction to gambling dependency. They therefore use the same methods to treat them, thus helping them to take a step back from their behaviour that is not normal.

Well, there's nothing wrong in adapting the cryptocurrency in our lives but I think too much use of it will not be good specially when people would depend their life needs in cryptocurrency. Ofcourse people should not depend on virtual source of income; they should have find atleast a permanent job because we know that this bitcoin job is not stable and if you are lucky then you'll get high income. I agree that too much dependency on cryptocurrencies may lead to a real society disease.
