Re: Hexagonal Modular Arcology - The Future of Urban Living?

For those who don't want to see the Youtube link, please describe these hexagonal living units in more detail or provide a transcript of the video here (Youtube videos usually include transcripts).

Each hexagon is 10,000 sqft and 3 stories tall. You can build whatever you would like in this space using traditional residential construction methods.

Most of my designs have 16x22 foot bedrooms which open up into larger shared areas, usually with 20 bedrooms per hexagon.

Hexagons can be split into 10 bedroom trapezoids (half a hexagon) or 6 bedroom rhombuses (1/3 a hexagon)

If you feel the blueprint is too crowded, you can convert bedrooms into misc rooms until you get to a nice crowded/affordable mixture.

Total cost of construction is still an unknown, but estimates are as little as $250/bedroom at current interest rates. If interest rates go back down to 3%, we could achieve profitability at only $150 per bedroom.

True modular buildings should be easy to detach, disassemble and assemble. Should come in different sizes, specs/features or materials to cater for the needs of all economic classes without compromising on good standard.

There are plenty of options already available, plus you can customize it however you'd like in a 10,000 sqft 3 story tall hexagon. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmvUyUoRmaxNS-nN3QsueF3mr-5nQqfkt

Should be privacy focused to solve the needs of people who prefer not to share thesame space with the rest, or don't want a communal lifestyle. I think such lifestyle is more suitable for people who share thesame belief and understand each other really well

Yeah some of the crazier blueprints are more for sororities/fraternities or cults, hahaha. Large families work too, but might be difficult because family isn't voluntarily opted into like other social organizations are.  Grin

Anyway, what else are we going to spend our bitcoin on? https://youtu.be/JJjUDE6aZ8A

Hexagonal Modular Arcology - The Future of Urban Living?

Have you heard of Modular Arcologies? They are a new construction innovation, an entire hyper-dense car-free 3D city inside of one building. Currently, there are no Arcologies in the USA, but China has built two in Shanghai, known as "1000 trees" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndjytkhu7Gk )

Here is a version of the same idea, but with hexagons and steel construction: ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jadh1aH03RA ). Each hexagon is 3 stories tall, with traditional residential construction inside of the mass produced steel frame.

Housing could be mass produced for anywhere between $60K-$100K per unit, with a 3D road system and commercial roundabouts inside of the structure. Here is a video of the interior public spaces ( https://youtu.be/qCI9MBoaI7M ) The largest vehicles inside the structure are golf carts and fork lifts, making the city extremely sustainable. Here is another example with different modular features: ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjJpllmGevw )

You can also visualize the hexagons as pixels, and make images with those pixels. For example, here is the Buffalo Bills logo as a city, with a football focused design: ( https://youtu.be/m0WMesapJhU )

I have over 500 videos on the topic, and have started this path in 2017. My copyright IP fee is $1000 per hexagon, and a city of 100,000 people is about 7500 hexagons on as little as 320 acres. Oh...and since it is modular, you can start construction with 1, 5, or 10 hexagons to measure demand, then expand the city from there without disrupting or dismantling existing structures.

I hope to hear from you regarding this exciting opportunity to manifest the future!

dont want to diss your fantasy.. seems you put alot of time into drawing it up. and then doing some other studies around it.

BUT..
a 3 floor balcony and high ceilings for communial area. but then small bedrooms squeezed into the corners.. WHY!
heck even the kitchen area looks only big enough for a microwave and a 2 person breakfast bar

anyways back to the main issue.. the 12foot x 10foot bedroom.

average good size bed for a couple is 7x7. so thats only 3foot from the footstand of the bed to the door(7-10)
and if you centered the bed against the wall. thats only 5foot either side.(7-12)

sorry but i think a few months of that boxroom(cell) and people will be hoping to do the 3 floor dive to the ground. head first.
even a prison cell needs 7foorx10foot for a single prisonmate room..

dont squeeze things into corners just to have a 30foot high ceiling in the main communial area.
people would be happier with a 20foot high ceiling and then massive bedrooms on the top floor

i cant see you being a project/finance manager of any project. but just from a design point of view.. c'mon kid try a lil better

try to have it where people dont have to walk 100metres just to lay in a 4metre long box bedroom

They also have a 16x24 foot area and the entire shared space...kitchen/lounge etc.

We can't really blame people for creating them as long as we keep pouring money to every meme scam out there. It is making us look bad yeah, but that's the price we have to pay for keeping up unregulated markets.

What it comes to OP:s question. It's the matter of your preference. Erc20 is popular but the fees are unbareable so you have to be able to afford to distribute it.

The exchanges should be self-regulating the coins they list, like the stock market does.

Have you ever felt alone and depressed? Have you ever felt that nobody likes you? Have you ever walked on the street and felt that everybody is looking at you in a bad way?
I really don't understand what happened to people.. did they forgot how to smile?!
I feel that people don't care anymore about others and i have seen so many fundraisers online that barely collect 100$. I see people acting bad with animals and nature.. and one with another. Where is this going to lead? Global corporations don't know what else to do to make money on poor people backs and step on bodies to become no.1.
I am ashamed of today's society.. we live in a cruel world and i wish it ends soon because this is not the way humans should live.
How do you feel about what's happening around us?

1) People have been distanced from each other entirely via the internet.
2) The internet has highlighted the corruption, lies, and evil within modern society, and within most people. They have accepted their own evil and it has shrouded them in hatred.
3) People have openly rejected god and accepted Satan.

The modern socialists have had their selfish masks torn off, and they stopped feeling the need to be fake nice.

The Future is Now: Making Ancapistan A Reality
by
TheGovernedSelf
on 07/02/2018, 05:06:06 UTC
(TL;DR- YT Video Below)

Ancapistan is a cellular city, the first of its kind. The intention is to create an open-ended modular building framework standard, which can be replicated and expanded upon both horizontally AND vertically, long after the construction of previous sections have been fully completed. It features an internal 3-dimensional public transportation system (20 foot wide suspended pathways or "roads"), and complete utility infrastructure (on-site power generation, heating/cooling, water, and internet).

It is highly efficient in electricity consumption, heating/cooling, construction costs, and transportation costs, which the costs (and savings) of each have all been roughly calculated (+-10%) using mathematical models. Due to the cellular nature, construction can also begin with only ONE single cell, (est cost: $250k-300k, including a finished interior) instead of endlessly waiting for a grand master-plan and the massive funds/interest/uncertainty involved with such a master-plan.

The plan is also limited to the structural skeleton and meta-construction of the city, leaving the details/residential/business development/zoning and nearly all interior/artistic/aesthetic development up to the actual residents. The first cell will likely be a residential proof of concept, and will most likely be greatly expanded upon over time, as the design intended.

The design counts as "Exit" from normal society in many ways, because...
-it reduces the cost of living by an estimated $1000-3000/month/resident over traditional society
-is mostly self-sustaining and nearly off-grid (requires a small amount of diesel to run the entire city)
-close-knit community can support alternative work/life arrangements, social structures, and currencies among each other. After all, this is ancapistan!
-1-2 successful "export" industries can support the entire city due to the small amount of external cash-flow required to survive and thrive, due to massively reduced cost of living.
-A low cost of living allows for vast prosperity for both employees AND business operations within the city, all achieved by natural resource efficiency!

Structural blueprints are already completed, and the project now only requires land, financing, and some residents (who ideally would be involved in the project as well, either as laborers, entrepreneurs, or investors).

The chosen location only requires:
1) Road access
2) Freight rail access [optional but preferred]
3) A welcoming local government [due to building codes, which are enforced locally]
We can build this in a fully rural location, where land is cheap and plentiful, yet have a (future) theoretical population density 3x higher than that of Manhattan, and at 1/10th the cost of living!

Enjoy this 3D rendered video which highlights the potential lifestyle, and many future possibilities that this new city format (TOTAL FREEDOM) allows:
