I have 2 M3 units currently being shipped

Anyone else received a text message apparently from DHL asking to pay tax ?

I presumed if tax was required it would arrive with a tax document allowing me to review it and pay customs

This text take s you to the real dhl website but the payment site in the text concerned me

They advised pay the tax or items will be held and destroyed ! Wankers

At this stage it is simply a question to see if there’s any interest on this forum

In short, I can get sports bets on for those that are unable too ( before anyone trolls there are many many people that are un-able to place bets due to account closures , restrictions and I guess location

I am in the UK and happy to meet in person if the interest is there

HuhHuh    I said I am in the UK

you don't get what I am trying to say if theres interest and its only interest at this stage

example - for what eva reason you put £1000 on a horse and it wins ....... you try it again the bookies will say in short f*ck off this is a fact

i mean no offense but pro's will know this .... BTC would be a good way to move monies once a trust established

i have placed many bets for a pro in the past

yeah its completely legal

there are many way accounts but if you make money they restrict you down - for example bet365 will only allow me to place a bet which will return a maximum of £10 including the stake

that leaves going through a asain broker who have FEE's or a company like Eastbridge in UK (very good service) but only good for asain handicaps really and football

i would not charge a Fee and in time rather be following the selections the client made , if they were mugs they would not need a broker as anyone can blow big stakes

i have a managed vip account so i can get on ...

the trusting someone stranger online is a problem , but i would meet the person face to face - if they were serious pro's and wanted to get on

also some people will know someone in the uk industry who might know me and so mutually vouch for me ( I ve done this myself in the past )

Can some one please tell me do the porders post Januray come with everything i you need to get them working ?
any help appreciated

They come with the Power Supply. That's it. You may need to find the appropriate C-13 cord to match your 220v outlet, and
a Cat5 cable to connect to the Internet. In the review of the M3 that you saw, philipma1957 posted an unboxing video, and
he shows how to set it up. There are other like minded videos on YouTube.

Thanks Shazam .... I got thrown a bit in the review as phil used his own PSU , granted it was a demo set .... just wanted to check

nice one C-13 cord and long Cat 5 cable down to my friends cellor Smiley cant wait to laugh at the noise .... software and a pool and i'm away

I don't have any miners as yet

on the 12 January i paid $4,116.00 for 2 items and cant wait for them to arrive to see if i can get them working

the prices do seem too much unless you manage to get them at 1100......

i bought these because of the review on this forum on the M3 ,

not certain of the genuine bitmain site , and with alot of negative comments regarding the reliabity of the S9 on a few threads it put me off the S9 a tad.

There due to arrive later in the Month - I HOPE I AM CAPEABLE TO TO SET IT UP.

Can some one please tell me do the porders post Januray come with everything i you need to get them working ?
any help appreciated

Re: Using a Buy on Nice Hash to mine altcoin - anyone experience you could share ?
by

The real truth about cloud mining like Nice Hash is you are not going to make a return to your cloud mining contract. This business model is only good to get more money for the company.

Why a company rents his hashing rate when it can only make money for himself? Buying mining contracts will not bring the money back in your pocket.

You should avoid it, and if you really want to mine, why not build your own mining rig as a hobbyist instead.

if its profitable in future I will build one or buy one , in uk

The problem with the bought hash power is the final calculated expense that you must take into consideration. There is a slight chance that you can make a profit if you are choosing the hash to mine the altcoin that is still low in value but has a high perspective to make a breakthrough in the market. Before even joining and renting the hash try to analyze and investigate the best sites for the rentable hashes and even best possible altcoin with the perspective to fulfill the goals they have put ( I know that you are evaluating the Nice hash but there are better and more reputable sites) before them. Another problem that the rentable site, in this case, the Nice Hash, is presenting is the expense of the renting in the 24 hours that you are renting. You must calculate the quality, expense, and return of the mentioned hash.
I personally would invest in my own rig with the bankroll that is accumulated through the time. Rentable hash is passable and with your own mining rig; if you are not satisfied with the result of the hashed coin in the end at least you know that you don't have to rent hash for another 24 hours because you have your own mining equipment. Try to make the investment into hardware and it will bring you tremendous profit back in a long term.

Minnie - thank you very much for your reply ... its pretty hard getting off the ground with taking the right path ... and reading the right advice ... I now know in your opinion that you can make profit with GPU rigs , I wondered how you could do this

I have M3 from china coming next month Asic and v much interested in altcoin too... any advice welcome

Could anyone share any positives of negatives of using nice hash to generate a profit ?

is it possible to buy hash power to mine altcoins to turnover a few numbers ?

I think if it was easy everyone would be doing it but then if there was no benefit why would people do it ?

any help appreciated

Bitcoin is a digital asset class which is subjected to regulations.

In some countries, it's legal to trade this asset class. What this mean is that you can buy and sell Bitcoin in those countries for cash because it's allowed. Whereas, in some other countries, it's illegal to do so.

Just read though the rules of your country of residence and abide by those rules accordingly.

thank you for the comments

I ve been googling for The United Kingdom's reg's but I cant find anything solid ... just speculation

interesting article for newbies like me

Over the centuries, gold has been considered as an object of value by many different groups of people all over the world. It’s important to note that gold in itself has no value - it’s just a piece of shiny metal. Its value comes from the (somewhat perplexing) fact that everyone just agreed that it has value, and therefore it becomes valuable. The reason they chose gold versus other objects is important - gold has certain characteristics that make it a better ‘store of value’ (as it is commonly known) than other objects:
For one, it is rare, which means it has limited supply(there is only a certain amount of gold in the world - if it was too abundant everyone would have it and then it would have no value). It is malleable (it can be melted and made into smaller units i.e. coins, and importantly the per unit value doesn’t change when you break it into smaller pieces, unlike things like diamonds). It is stable and doesn’t degrade, it’s easy to recognise and very importantly, difficult to counterfeit.
As it turns out, Bitcoin has all of these same characteristics, and more. It has limited supply (only a specific amount of Bitcoin exists and will ever be produced). It can be made into smaller units without losing unit value (1 Bitcoin = 100,000,000 Satoshis - the smallest unit into which a Bitcoin can be broken down to, similar to the cents in a Dollar or pennies in a pound; this is also why one can buy less than one Bitcoin at a time). Its technology makes it very stable, it won’t degrade, and it’s impossible to counterfeit. On top of this, and unlike gold, you can move Bitcoin to any place on earth within minutes, no matter how big or small the amount. That’s why many people say that Bitcoin is not just digital gold, but a better version of gold.
On top of that, Bitcoin has value as a payment system in itself, which gives it even more value. The more people use Bitcoin for payments, the more valuable this system becomes. It’s a bit like buying shares in Visa and then using those shares to buy a coke at your local 7-11. Because you used the Visa shares to pay, Visa (the payment system) becomes more valuable, and Visa shares become worth more. In this way, the value of Bitcoin comes from both its gold-like characteristics as well as its payment system abilities.
