The problem is you criticize a prediction model without having the parameters, so of course you'll get to the wrong conclusions.

The fact is it's you who made wrong conclusions Cheesy

I did not, we went for a risk / reward play based on the info we had. I don’t think it’s that hard to understand.

You know, if he actually hit it while competing with you it would make sense. This is unnecessary comments. While it's one thing to have our 2 favourite thread fillers arguing each other for... so many pages they both were doing their thing. But these are unnecessary comments. They don't seem to do anything but try to get a rise out of the receiver. Regardless of the outcome, chances are chances and sometimes the smallest chance is enough. Move on... Like Bram is trying to do. He still came out on top... by miles.

My point is simple: ignore people who state in public that they have calculated by using "smart" math that the prize is theirs and all other people have almost zero chances.
And this is not unnecessary comment.

No, on a statistical plot the chances were, due to scale of his operation, most likely theirs. The maths was accurate that all other parties, due to be so segmented and not working together, were highly unlikely to beat his operation. All random participants were taking into account. What cannot be taken into account is blind luck and random chance. If you know how to calculate that into anything then by all means well done.

Guys PLEASE,

can someone let me know if this holds true?
https://stacker.news/items/683489

Can you explain to me how this happened or point me somewhere to read about it?
if this holds true, then can't this happen with EVERY single transaction in bitcoin?
I got confused!

There is a whole breakdown of everything in this thread. Lets say from around page 280. 10% hysteresis. But you will find all the info you could require.

bro i said that because the newbie members always share the same idea, from years we see the same ideas and reply to it, please for newbie to read this and the other thread of the puzzle do not spam thats what i want to say

I don't understand newbie preposition here! If you are referring me as new BIE than, I am happy to be it or even born bie if you like it! But the thing is we are all here making an effort to achieve a certain collective goal i guess. Someone posted logic, when I read it, I simply posted that Script that I developed probably 8 months ago, way before joining this forum! Well that didn't make me newbie there did it? Anyway, I shared my script, its simplest possible reasoning and logic behind,, the reason I said why digaran suggested formula won't work, the reason I commented on it because i tested it and tested it really hard not just spinning around! So basically I wanted to save someone's time pursuing something like that which has already proven to be waste of time, so that one can focus on other fresh ideas instead of wasting time on old ones!!! BTW how long one remains here a newBIE?Huh

This doesn't call for a debate though...
Let us collectively achieve the goal we're all hoping to achieve in this forum.
By the way, does anyone know how to write codes for AntMiners?
I suggest the AntMiners are way faster than the GPUs in computational tasks.
We can solve 66, 67, 68 and 69 in one night if someone can write something to work on them
these machines are not profitable for now, so we need to gear them towards something that's worth it... like solving these puzzles
Let me know if anyone here knows how we can achieve that

Antminers sadly won't work for the full process. In a way they can be used to do the SHA256 hash but then your back to slow down on the ripemd. What you need is someone who is good with FPGA coding. I have a decent device but my coding on that is best to say awful.

BTC puzzle 66 :13zb1hQbWVsc2S7ZTZnP2G4undNNpdh5so
so far found :13zb18UKn2awwhpshZUjhLXZMcGbzC5soJ

the prefix and suffix nearly same

Do you have the private key for the so far found one? I would be interested in comparing it to something. Please and thank you.

Not sure what your code has but you need these...

Oh, you are rigth seems interesting.
But there is no any output
yes that's right that's why I said it's strange Wink.....I try to understand how this can happen but Huh

It looks like pending inputs from my side. Not sure anyone can confirm. They not outputs, just unconfirmed in. Available but not.

it remains only theoretical and probabilistic the distribution is obviously not linear if not on range #64 by adding an additional character to 16jY7qLJnx ex H ==> 16jY7qLJnxH it should come out <1 but in this case there are 2 whereas for 16jY7qLJnx N or P only one address but it stands
I still do not understand what you are asking/implying.

In the 64-bit range, there should be an estimated 2,483 addresses that start with 16jY7qLJnx.

You are looking at a very small sample size in the list of addresses you posted.

I think he want to work on the law of averages. So work on either side of long gaps so to speak. I could be off base though.

yes go to github https://github.com/iceland2k14/quick download quick or just pubdiv.py instructions on page are very clear how to.

so to reduce 2 you need to generate 2 power 2, 4 keyspaces 2 power 4 etc

Power   Value
0   1
1   2
...
50   1,125,899,906,842,624

Going back to this... So you drop it 50 bit... Get your insane number of public keys. Theoretically if you then Kangaroo it and get the private key in the range of 75...What's the following process?

Only if I knew how to automate this process!

Could you at least share the process, maybe some code somewhere can help you automate it.

Well in essence, lets say he eventually reaches 0.005 percent when someone hit's 66 on a lucky hit in a year and a bit. if he has large saved segments of what he has searched he can go to tdd/ttd can't remember and say, here are the ranges checked and get his according percentage as was done with 64 when it started. You move from private to a team split. It's the very long game to play. Has it's pro's and cons.

Is there any script I could run with Vscode on Win 10?

I stumbled on this a short while back. Not even sure why I saved it...but anyway...

https://github.com/BTC-HUB-GROUP/PubHunt

Hope that helps you.
This has the same build dependencies as bitcrack, thanks though, guess I'll have to download 40GB of VS and CUDA.🥱

Apologies, I am an amateur coder really so my knowledge is limited. It just seemed similar to your wants.

It is slow compared to ICE secp256k1. Twice the speed...However, I am currently creating a script that will be Full ICE - to search for lost parts of the private key. About 2 million per second per CPU thread.. Grin

I would love to see your 2 mil/sec as I am stuck on 500k/s with ice. Would be interested to see which route you went.

First of all, I apologize for my bad english.
My question:
After finding the password of the 64-bit wallet, the public key will be visible when the transfer starts on Blockchain.com. Is it possible to transfer faster than me when another person breaks it with the kangaroo method? So even if I pay 22 satoshis as a fee right now, can it be transferred faster than me by paying more?

This was mentioned before somewhere. Can't remember where. But from what I recall.... If you don't cheap out on the Tx Fee you will be fine. Because once it's seen on the blockchain the double spend protection will kick in. Bad wording so to the experts I apologize. But it's unlikely you will not receive it should you have the private key.

Hi all,

Could someone share some nodes please, Also is the config file goldpieces.conf?

Thanks

Hi!

I have 1 connection for now.

addnode=176.9.47.5:23462

My config file is GoldPieces.conf

That was an almost instantaneous connection. Thank you very much. I will sync and leave the wallet running till I set up a solid node so there are a couple at least.

Still no new?

Last time the 'dev' was online - June 28, 2018, 04:09:30 AM

Think maybe was a way to bump up the price a bit.
