Is there a reason the coin is on no exchanges (but it's own)?
Will that change?
And was that always the case, or was it removed?

Lykke was a bit overpriced at some point, but I'm really surprised it dropped so low. Doesn't seem to belong down there.

what is the main topic of that soul token?

It's a joke/game - mostly to play around with the asset feature of IGNIS.... and the idea of selling your soul Tongue

CloudBurst has just been released, and it's the first ever decentralized cloud storage app on the BURST blockchain.
Learn more with this exclusive article:

https://www.burstcoin.ist/2018/07/28/cloudburst-a-decentralized-cloud-storage-app-on-the-burst-blockchain/

So do I understand it right that the data is not on the miner's drives? It's some additional storage solution for small files only?

A switch to convert the miners into cloud storage (instead of the random data as it is now) was planned in the long term, no?

A little  update by Jelurida's Lior on theleightweight smart contract progress.

Dominium looks also like it's bringing some other markets into the Ardor network.
Promising months ahead for Ardor (in my totally unbiased opinion Wink)

Ignis had a bit bad luck, because only a few days after it was "liberated" to trade at Bittrex the whole cryptocurrency/altcoin market crashed, and "weak hands" freaked out and dumped. The fact that it was distributed as a kind of "airdrop" didn't help here. There is still a "mini time bomb" because it was still not added/rewarded by Poloniex, until this is not resolved the market has not to be viewed as "fully normalized".

Crazy to me that Poloniex still didn't distribute the IGNIS. I mean... I get that it's more work for them. But surely they can't just wait until people forget about it‽
Just implement it - it's not that hard if you have Ardor running anyways.

In my opinion, it will recover when real usage is found. Ignis - because of its superior scalability to other coins - is a good currency for regular payments of goods and services. It is a better alternative to coins like Bitcoin Cash, LTC or Dash. So people who want it to succeed - above all, the Jelurida / ANG team - should try to get it accepted by payment processors.

Dominium is pretty interesting. More Coins like that will come ... my bet is that IGNIS will gain usage because it's the network between all those coins. So I consider it vastly undervalued ... it should be higher than Ardor.

For example, an addition of AEUR to major exchanges (as a competition to Tether) should also bring new users and could trigger a market recovery.

I think the C2C ATMs will use AEUR. Would be great if exchanges would pick it up too. Don't see that anytime soon though.

Update Ardor.World 🚀 Cool
1. Ardor Rich List
2. Ignis Rich List
Link: https://www.ardor.world

I read the rich lists for Ardor and Ignis and found the problems for them. Only a small fraction people (~100) owned most of the coins.
The lack of popularity is the huge problem.

Many people park their coins on exchanges. So many of the top in the list there represent a lot of small fish. Plus, Jelurida owns a lot of Ignis.

Thanks for keeping the updates going. Really practical for staying up to date.

Wow, 1.3 million views already, that's a lot of attention for an alt.

How do you know for sure that you are on the mainnet and not the testnet?
I'm asking because the checkbox under "Device Settings" was checked even tough I specified that I wanted to use the mainnet during the wallet installation process...I have been able to send 1 ARDR to someone on this forum, so it must be OK.

I having a similar problem. I can't log into my Ardor account because it says I'm connected to the testnet, despite the fact that I specifically chose no to the testnet.

You installed on windows? Check your nxt.properties file in the conf directory. In there can also be a line that  activates testnet.
Try maybe deleting(or temporarily renaming) the file, and see if it helps.

thanks..  it is just that i needed my ARDR adress to join a bounty.. but there is no way i can gain access to it. so i will have to wait.!

The Ardor client works already though - so if you just need an address for a bounty, you can just download the client and create one.

hey guys,
i hold my ardors on nxt.jelurida.com wallet.i want to know after snapshot, what happend for my ardors assets?they move to ardor wallet auto?or i have to move them to ardor testnet now?i read something that said after snapshot ardor assets will block on nxt blockchain.help me please

Testnet is a net for testing... hence it's not real coins.

You don't have to do anything. Your Ardr and Ignis balances will be locked around the 28th of December, and will appear (under the same password) on the Ardor blockchain on the 1st of January.

Check BitCore(BTX) ! It’s the future!
Better than Btc with 10 Mb Segwit!

Have you noticed the "future" is down to $17.47 USD from a high of about $46.10 USD in mid November and dropping rather fast. Meanwhile, in the same time period, Bitcoin has gone from $6000 to $16,000 and is still rising. Also in that time period, NXT has gone from $0.06 USD to $0.66 USD and still rising. Oh and ARDR from $0.20 USD to $0.60 USD. I think I'll pass, thanks...

I just downloaded the NXT client/wallet.   So I can just put the ARDR and NXT onto it ?

Yes, you can just transfer them to your NXT address.
It's anyways always advisable to keep your crypto in wallets, since many exchanges have gone bust, and it will happen again.

Platforms mean very little with no parties using it...

Agreed. That is the current weakness of Nxt. There are not enough known projects around it.
We'll have to see - but Ardor should make this easier.

Today janus team launched a new side business no market movement i feel bad for that team. Something like this happens in any other platform and markets react. Nxt team whales and whoever just cant see the big picture it seems.

Nxt had a ton of projects - it had this huge ICO rush a year before Ethereum started the same. A lot of people got burned... so now there is much less enthusiasm for it. I think the same will happen to Ethereum, but at the moment they have more momentum there.

HI, When is the official airdrop of Ignis for NXT Holders? So for now transfer all Ardor to NXT wallet. Then when Ardor launches we have to manually transfer them to the Ardor wallet? Is this correct? Thank you.

You do not have to manually transfer anything, as long as the Ardor are on the wallet they'll be used for the snapshot, and you'll get your final Ardor on launch.

Also see this, it answers really 90% of the questions that pop up here.

All official information regarding Ardor tokens (Ignis and ARDR) distribution is here: https://www.jelurida.com/ico

so then is it better to transform ardr tokens into nxt?

Why?

Quote
Why is ARDR more valuable that NXT on coinmarketcap?

Because that's what the market thinks it should be valued at.
Ardor will be the parent chain. One could see it as more important. But we'll have to see if that turns out true for the value. Ardor is quite limited, and only really there for forging the chain.
Child-chains like IGNIS have many more features.

NXT will keep existing and might have it's specific uses. And you get 0.5 IGNIS for it at the air-drop. So it might be a great deal. But yeah, at the end it's up to you to predict what's really the best choice here.

I also share your concern with pre-announcements. Remember the last "big" Burst announcement? It was just an Android wallet lol.

Having a well functioning Android wallet is pretty neat though. Cheesy Must have been quite some work.

I bought some NXT back in 2013 and left them in my wallet and forgot about them.  Just installed the client 1.11.9 to find I also have some Ardor, and some other currency Cybershare or something like that.  What other air drops are upcoming next year (and when), and is it OK to leave my NXT in this version of wallet?

Well, the wallet version doesn't matter - your coins are in the blockchain and not on your PC. So just make sure you always have your password saved and secure.

And yes, you'll get all the airdrops - so the IGNIS will go to you on the ARDOR blockchain. Meaning you'll have to login there (with the same password) once it is launched in Janurary.
Nxt holders will also receive Bitswift airdrops.

Be a bit careful with currencies/assets you get sent. Anyone can just send you anything, so scammers also try to send you stuff so you think it's official assets.
