Just a quick update: i will be out of town for a bit and best way to get in touch with me is through twitter vootcoin
Good Job...Pls come back quick. We still need you
I am still reading Everything that is posted here and in twitter. Just because of a trip, will have mobile access only, so much easier to communicate through twitter. I toner town the flashy tone a little bit after suggestions during recent shitstorm but still serving to the community as messenger between btc38, smoke etc. and the community. I will provide new info as soon as I get it, just will tone down on hyping as requested, since it might be absed by pumpers and dumpers. Follow voot on twitter!

Re: [ANN][VOOT] X11 VootCoin-Nitesend | Tor | Multi-Pool | New PR Rep | Anon Ex Soon
Does anyone know release time of VootEx today? It's already 3AM 11 Aug. in my timezone.
monday 11:59 pm deadline
At which timezone??
ask whale or jefferson but i think it's utc-5
Unless I'm mistaken, tomorrows deadline is for the bonus. It's not a guaranteed launch date. So if it's missed it doesn't mean there's any reason to freak out.

Re: [ANN][VOOT] X11 VootCoin-Nitesend | Tor | Multi-Pool | New PR Rep | Anon Ex Soon
MsCollec, please, provide us more proof, not only promises. I really want to believe that anon exchange will be ready on Monday, but we all afraid of similiar scenario to the last one - announcing exchange, getting confirmation and then fail. We need a proof this time, not only words.
I have asked the smoke team and they said the community gave them Monday as the deadline.. I hoping they meet the new deadline. Thanks
With all due respect, a community imposed deadline is great. Beating it is even better but considering what's at stake (people risking BTC), as a former web monkey, personally I'd rather see a product ship secure rather than rushed only to get pwnt.
People trying to rush devs & PR need to realize this. Missing a deadline is nothing compared to people having their money stolen. IMO doing it right > doing it fast.

And Vootcloud release/capital informations -notclear- in 3 days we're in a good dynamic
Whale and Jefferson can you considere the mintpal vote?
I thought Mintpal was doing away with voting. Considering their current volume, until moolah.io finishes their takeover and security audit, maybe it's better to focus our energy elsewhere for the time being.
mintpal votes will stop soon yeah, wouldnt bother voting.
things are coming together nicely, now we need some solid news/facts (launches on monday but who will be running it?) about the exchange. Or ninjalaunch it.. but would be nice beforehand to know certain things, it's a very reasonable request from an investors pov.
I agree. It would be nice to have something similar to a business plan for the project moving forward. Just as new technologies in crypto typically release white papers such a plan would do much to answer many of the questions that have been hanging in the air the past few weeks. I don't think it would need to be anything too formal (basic organizational structure, budget, milestones etc.) would be a great start.
Considering the developers, PR etc have their hands full at the moment, just knowing that such a document would be forthcoming should be reasonable. Potential investors would have the opportunity to do some due diligence and hopefully some of the skeptic's fears could be quelled.

Nice, thank you. So is the information page the precursor to the market launch?

I think it will be great combination - first attract chinese investors through listing at btc38.com and then open the Anon Exchange. The price could easily become x10 if everything goes smooth!
Anyway it seems that I am the only one who's wallet doesn't want to sync Wallet v.1.1 from the OP, Win7SP1 x64, .conf file in the app data, what else did I miss?
I'm not sure about windows but on *nix renaming vootcoin.conf to VootCoin.conf fixed the problem.
it is always best to name the conf file the same as the folder it's going in. in this example, for windows, folder name is(for me at least) is VootCoin therefore i named the config as VootCoin.conf. this works for me everytime.
I never thought about it that way but that makes a lot of sense. One of my biggest pet peeves with many altcoins is the documentation is rarely updated from the parent to the new coin.
Cheers.

FFS, there's way too many lemmings in this thread. I've been watching for a few weeks before the meltdown at the end of July and it's sad. After over a year I had to finally register a BCT acct just to ignore and some of you keep quoting the trolls increasing their reach.
For everyone who keeps freaking out about the exchange's release let me ask you this. Would you rather see the project rushed to market only to have it compromised by a SQLi or XSS and go the way of Mintpal or can you wait for the tested project to ship?
As for those of you who keep asking the same questions over and over, DYOR. You're making it nearly impossible to follow this thread.
INB4 noob account! Yeah, maybe some of you should learn to lurk moar as well.
Thank you to those of you trying to hold this ship together.
oh nice thanks bro, this is such a nice quiet thread lol. A pleasure to be in it. Just got myself a bunch of bluecoin and staking
My pleasure. Yeah, I agree this is a pleasant change from some of the other threads that I lurk. I've read this forum for ages but didn't need an account until recently so that I could use the ignore function.
Hopefully some more of my low buy orders will fill soon lol.
Guys is there any possibility to stake BLU on Linux? I can't see wallet for Linux anywhere..
Fow now you must compile your own wallet on Linux.
I tried but there's something wrong.

Anyone?
It looks like you're missing a dependency: sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev if that's it make sure you have the other dependencies from /bluecoin-master/doc/readme-qt.rst installed as well
