We won't get the slightest hint about anything until the new roadmap is released, so, asking till then is just pointless.

If they are working on a new timeline, then it could provide  also new hype as new listing on big exchanges, new partnerships, software upgrades, etc. The way the price is acting, I'd not expect any less than a huge pump.

BCN is 9% up on Poloniex, let's see if it can successfully recover up to 30 sats support.

My theory.

You forgot to add that huge movements lead to profits to miners, so  strongly believe this move is just a testing ground for that feature. In mid term BCN will get another big listing which will also lead to a great pump. Lucky those who can open positions.

BCN_official what can you tell us about current situation?
First Binance , now Okex, after such a short span. Will you clarify about the critical issue Okex referred to on delisting BCN?

Oh, side note. In 22 days, BCN won't receive new tokens anymore. End of mining. I'd like some burning too, but I'm curious to see what's gonna happen then.

Regarding the mining, not sure about 22 days, since mining reward decreases as the maximum emission reaches its top. It is around a little less than a year left.
Important thing to note here is that the mining will continue, and the new blocks will be created. The only thing that changes is that there will be no reward for mining the block and the miners will rely solely on the fee.
I had a look at this:https://countdown.bytecoins.world
So don't know if it's totally wrong somehow.
Anyway, the mining will continue as new blocks are created but no more coins will be given to miners?

I'm still halfway, after 12 hours, from transferring my BCN to Polo. Longest transaction ever.

Which exchange from which you sent your coins to Poloniex?
I guess Binance, which will delist Bytecoin in next several days (announcement published days ago).

Yea, from Binance, took ~22 hours.

I guess it's something related to Poloniex, as 500 approvals on Binance were made in mere minutes.

Each transaction from Binance to Poloniex needs 600 confirmations. After 4 hours, I'm at approximately 1/6. Bitcoin looks godspeed in comparison. Dunno why the blockchain is so slow.

Hi. New here  Smiley
In April I buy 30000 BCN coins at 91 satoshi

I must keep it until get higher price, or I sell it?
Never sell when you're loosing that much, at least not if the whole project isn't dying. It will definitely get back to 90. Just hold till then.

What Bytecoin really needs now, and it must do, being around since 2012, is getting into partnerships for real use cases of this crypto. Being accepted as a payment system with Pundi's xpos, being the main blockchain of another real use case.
We are getting closer to the point where we won't need just more exchanges for trading, to get the value up, but news about real usage.

The price is not made by just sheer volumes. It's a combination of new cash flow AND a surge of trading volume. The latter might trigger investors aware that an accumulation manoveur may link to a rise in price.
That's pure and simple manipulation.

BCN 28 sat , Somewhere I am getting confused.. Wink

Guess it's still suffering from previous dump and we still miss the necessary news and cash flow to pump up the price. If it wasn't for those damned days, BCN was performing well.

Could you give us info regarding how close (or far) from turning point for the hardfork to come in effect? You spoke of at least 90%, so knowing approximately the % would help quite a bit. Thanks.

We are still waiting to hear back from our mining pools as they are still in the process of making updates to their software. Once we hear back from them we will have more conclusive numbers to share with the community!

Thank you so much
