Depends on what you are looking for actually. If you want convenience on your part where Bitcoin will be directly converted to cash via bank deposit then commerce based wallets like Coinbase and Bitpay is the way to go for you. But if you want to avoid fees then BTCpay is the best alternative the problem is this might be more complicated to be setup with as compared to the first 2 I have mentioned but this could easily be solve if you have the developers to do it with your website.

Do you still need some help of using VPN service? First let us know what kind of VPN are you looking for? If you are looking for paid VPN then HMA (Hide My Ass) or Nord VPN is very good. But if you need free VPN for 1 week trial you can ZenMate or Betternet. Both of them are good enough according to my using experience.

They are really fast and cheap. Allegedly most VPN services do not keep any logs. But if you want to be safe just pay for it with clean crypto.

Now, if you don't use a vpn, people can trace where you're trying to access if they can see the logs of the first and third node.
If you're vpn don't keep logs and have no backdoor for the government then your anonymity is enforced by no one being able to track you if you route your traffic this way.

It is also possible to chain vpns or have it so that you use a vpn to connect to a vps to process your requests through tor..

Using tor itself means you may face connectivity problems. I did a speedtest of tor a while ago and got 12mpbs which is a bit like a speed between 3 and 4G mobile networks so if you don't have to be completely anonymous for some tasks you may get away with just a vpn but note that law enforcement are able to track patterns in people and it isn't hard to do so be careful what you think you're safe doing without tor if you want to be completely anonymous.

The best solution is using TOR over a VPN, in my opinion. Ask the experts. Talk to nullius, for example.
