Re: Anyone can fall victim to crypto scams
by
Truthlovecoins
on 11/03/2025, 00:27:34 UTC
The people that are most likely to always get scammed are the greedy ones, that want to just make it at once without doing the work nor putting in the required time by law of God and man.

Crypto scams will be a more difficult thing to fall into if people learn to know the right persons to ask some good questions regarding issues that are confusing or too good to be true type of situations, become more open than close to people who they want as mentor or guide and be more security conscious and watchful and ultimately, strive for better but along the way always be contented, then as said, crypto scams will have been reduced by a huge percentage already.

Re: WOMEN ARE BETTER TRADERS
by
Truthlovecoins
on 11/03/2025, 00:15:58 UTC
So I have come across this argument more often than necessarily recently so let me talk about it,. Women are considered to be better traders with the argument that
 1. they are better pressure absorbers and so can be more calm in face of market rationalities unlike men who are very abrupt nd quick in both decision  making and in reaction,.
2. they argued that women have the capacity to multitask and still make sure everything is in place which adds as a layer of advantage to them in the trading space and helps them to be more calm unlike men that are one thing at a time creature..lolz,.
Well what are your thoughts? are women really better traders than men,?
I know women are better at multitasking and trading because in the real life sense too, you will find more women in any market space either being dutiful, or management affairs or delivery or something that makes them stay in one place, talk unnecessarily, laugh hysterically and still do business, is their best place to be.
Women also understand analysis better and can interpret better than most men if they are left with the choice during trading or making investment choices.

Is :casting lots', not also a kind of gambling activity?
by
Truthlovecoins
on 06/03/2025, 23:37:44 UTC

I know the term 'casting lots,' is associated with the Holy books which spoke about it when Jonah was to be thrown overboard. Lots was also casted during the crucifixion of Jesus, while the soldiers were sharing his possessions among themselves.

If we have known lots to be some sort of sacred activity that could act as a guide to help make some decisions after the outcome, can we not then classify or tag casting lots as a kind of gambling activity?

Re: Which is a Worse Type of Gambling: Crypto Trading or Sports Betting?
by

I can tell that a simple difference between sports betting crypto trading is the reward and risk involved. Although the two options may bear same results which is to win or earn a big amount of cash, often bigger than we staked or traded, it is often not seen as a good way to invest or funds.

Re: Why you need to keep your crypto investment discreet
by

We should endeavor to keep not just only our crypto investment discreet, but also other financial investments and plans that hasn't yet reached fruition.
Worst of all showoffs, is when one wears gold and maybe other expensive kinds of jewelries and flaunts them in an unsafe place without thinking of taking them off or hiding them in order to avoid being burgled.

A thief might just be the closest person too if we ain't careful about disclosures sometimes also.

Re: Knowledge, patience, courage are the only way to invest in Bitcoin.
by

on 04/03/2025, 23:33:23 UTC
My only fear for buying Bitcoin now is that the price is not yet steady in the slightest bit. All this news updates on cryptocurrency that the U.S government is proactive about is still making the price fluctuate and I would rather advice that one may have to just observe or mine Bitcoin or simply try to be a trader of Bitcoin and maybe other cryptos, maybe just as a short term investment plan to improve my knowledge and that is a stepping stone to deciding on the long term investment plan I may likely execute.

I don't know the future but as we see it now, Trump and his entire family supports crypto currency and have even launched their individual coins and since getting into power, it makes more sense that his policies are in favor of cryptocurrency and that's a very good reason for the market to be affected by anything he says or does in championing the course of cryptocurrency. After all, isn't media hype or the policies of our leaders not enough to be qualified as volatilities?

Re: The best choice between BTC payment processor and exchange wallet for a migrant
by

The best you can have is a noncustodial wallet. With it you will have full control of your coins. You will be able to deposit money into an exchange of your choice accepted in the country you migrated to and also be able to make use of a payment processor.

I hope you know the meaning of a payment processor? Because I do not think this kind of question should be asked at all.
I learnt about payment processors when I tried to understand how some countries adopted crypto currency and use it for payments after they concluded their transactions. At least that is the only reason I know why it exist unless I get proven wrong by someone with more information. Perhaps you can explain more for me.

The best choice between BTC payment processor and exchange wallet for a migrant
by

What is the right choice to use between a Bitcoin payment processor and an exchange wallet, if it so happens that I find myself in a new country or region that is far from the familiarity of language, the regular dress codes and services I once enjoyed ?

What's the best choice between a BTC payment processor and an exchange wallet to use for a migrant?

Re: Why DCA instead of BCA?
by
Truthlovecoins
on 26/02/2025, 22:28:11 UTC
Dollar-cost averaging works the same way with any type of investments. Not just Bitcoin. It means that you are investing a fixed amount of money (dollars) at regular intervals.  It is not about buying a certain number of satoshi, but about spending the same amount of money each time.  And people have been using this strategy to invest for many, many years.  Long before Bitcoin became a thing.
So, I am guessing that I could go the commercial bank I use, ask to see the manager and tell him to secure an account for Dollar (or my local Fiat) cost averaging and it would be a great idea? Or perhaps I go to see a seasoned broker and explain to him about his help on managing a dollar cost account and they won't see it as weird right?

Why do we say dollar cost averaging, DCA?
by
Truthlovecoins
on 26/02/2025, 22:05:19 UTC

I don't know how stupid may sound but why do we say dollar cost averaging, DCA instead of Satoshi cost averaging, SCA or Bitcoin cost averaging?  This is owing to the fact that we could associate currency with cost averaging as a strategy investment for either short or long term durations.

Re: Our economy, a challenge to DCA plan.
by
Truthlovecoins
on 25/02/2025, 09:04:52 UTC
This is about Nigeria. Not DCA this time but NCA as you are specifically talking about our country and people that are receiving their wages or salary in naira.

NCA full meaning is naira cost average.

Yes, that is true. It is not only about agreeing but actually what is going on in the Nigeria. But as time goes, as inflation occurs, everybody will later be favored. Minimum wage was increased, those that are selling will earn more naira, those that import goods will warn more and so on in a way everything will later balance.

Although, I noticed what is happening in Nigeria recently is somehow as the government are not moving towards achieving a stable economy but preferring to make naira price to continue to increase and decrease. Recently, the value of naira is increasing but the foreign reserve is depleting.

But I still think anyone that is working that wants to NCA can still do it if the person has it in mind. Even if the value is not that much but it is worth it.
NCA or DCA strategy,  what does it matter, what we should concern ourselves with as regards this post by our OP, is to decide on which strategy between NCA or DCA we would prefer to use, that is when we are ready to start.
The goal is to invest  into ones savings or holding portfolio and do it effectively to get a good return and if one should choose DCA then they have to save up more Naira to be even.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025
by
Truthlovecoins
on 23/02/2025, 22:06:12 UTC
When Chelsea were in the second position of the league table earlier this season, Enzo Maresca in different occasions told reporters that they weren't a contender for the English Premier League title this season - a statement many thought were a kind of sarcasm but now, we understand better why he never believed his team would be consistent enough to fight for the league title. Chelsea's defeat yesterday was expected to me since Aston Villa were the home team so I wasn't surprised they lost that game.
Marcus Rashford to me was the best player in that game. The on-loan Manchester United forward is enjoying life at the Villa Park and I ask why did Manchester United manager allow him leave the club? Such a big loss for the Old Trafford club
I believe Enzo Maresca’s comments kind of affected the players mentality, I think at that point the players they felt like winning the league was not their goal this season. Their game against Aston Villa yesterday was far from their best, Aston Villa were able to come from a goal down to win the match. It was interesting to see Marcus Rashford performance   in that game. His latest performance has left fans and critics wondering why Amorim loaned such a player when they needed him the most but like they say players often do well when they leave Manchester United.
It was rather very interesting to see Marcus Rashford play for Aston Villa and even contributed to finding the back of net before the end of '90.
My Interest to day happened to be for the Liverpool game in which Mo Salah showed much seniority and confidence. He didn't run around aimlessly, but only went after the ball and put himself where he could easily be spotted and lo, was he spotted be Szoboszlai twice or not. Interesting game indeed, it shows they got enough juice to life this premier League trophy after so much anticipation since last two season coming.

Earning with your hobby is harder in reality
by
Truthlovecoins
on 23/02/2025, 21:51:43 UTC

In terms of turning passions to profit, it is way harder to earn from a hobby that was self taught than to earn from other skills or jobs or as an employee under a boss.
I think those who are crazy enough to turn their hobbies into a source of income and attain wealth unimaginable in the end know how hard it is to be patient, consistent and persistent despite criticisms to get to where they are today as successful. Whereas those who get employed and have to work to earn a salary or earn from a skill that was learned somehow, don't encounter this much difficulty that may lead to financial freedom and breakthrough.
What do you think?

Re: Must all sources of income be steady enough for one to be classified rich?
by
Truthlovecoins
on 21/02/2025, 22:57:30 UTC
You're hitting on one of the biggest illusions in finance: the idea that stability = wealth. It's about having control over several flexible revenue sources, not about depending just on one. Real estate is not constant; the stock market is not constant; and  businesses? Hell, 90% of startups fail. But the people who play it right (who understand risk, cash flow, and leverage) don’t rely on stability. Their control over volatility is remarkable

Amazon wasn’t “stable” when Jeff Bezos started. It lost money year after year. Still, the vision might be scaled. Contrast that with someone earning a six-figure salary who feels secure but falls apart when the business downsizes. Stability is a false god in finance. Learning to surf the waves is more vital than finding a rock to stand on; invest properly, diversify sensibly, and most importantly, keep liquid and flexible

Thus, no, a source of income does not have to be "steady". It only has to be strategically explosive. The real flex isn’t stability. It’s being unshakable in chaos
This is a very powerful input I must say and I see things clearer and understand better that true wealth is having and being ultimately in control of ones cash flow, so that when difficult situations arise, they don't make such a one broke with ease and miserable.

True wealth also, isn't just about standing firmly or being dedicated to only one source of income, it is about mastering control over not just only one source of income but adding other responsibilities while delegating effectively and  finding  the balance in both work life, family and other love life relationships.

Re: Impact of bitcoin language in some countries.
by
Truthlovecoins
on 21/02/2025, 22:44:50 UTC
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and its also a digital asset that has taken over the global economy.Although these currencies have  not yet legalized in Nigeria, there is restrictions and all the exchanges is ban too,so on that note buying and selling of bitcoin in Nigeria should be done by the use of sign language in order for us to be free and save in the hands of Nigerian government and the scammers that’s litter around the street looking for those persons that will fall victim, these illegal act and transactions that has been taking place in crypto space brought about the adventures of sign language. In recent times, the impact on bitcoin sign language is what we cannot overemphasize most especially in a third world countries and a deaf community in particular.

Some countries are very much aware of cryptocurrency and it’s benifits but language barrier was a major setback which hinders free flow of communication and the introduction of sign language has come to breach the cap of communication between countries which making it possible for bitcoin transactions to take place.I think with this sign language we will beable to identify those genuine persons we can do business with in term of transactions and who is in support or against the bitcoin currency in those countries that is not legalize like Nigeria as a case study.Imagine bitcoin without sign language in a deaf community,it will make bitcoin penetration difficult and it will also limits bitcoins users in this deaf community from accessing or having in-depth knowledge about bitcoin technology like blockchain and its operations.

These bitcoins sign language should be program in such a way that only those persons that’s in bitcoin system can understand the interpretation of it.
It just my humble suggestion,tho.
Isn't sign language for the deaf and dumb?
Also, what makes you think that evil people won't learn the Bitcoin language and then use it to manipulate just about any other Bitcoin investor out there?

A good suggestion indeed, but we are called intelligent human species or homosapiens because we can even in the midst of language differences, co-habit, marry, trade and we would thrive and survive somehow.
What is important for Bitcoin right now is adoption. If more persons and more countries decide to use it and allow it, then we would understand each other better without language as a barrier or determinant for being classified as trustworthy.

I know that without Bitcoin, the era of cryptocurrency would be toppled and a new currency would be introduced but that is a story for another day because it is much more valuable despite its volatile nature and that it assures one will get wealthy from investing in Bitcoin by saving it for a long period of time and not by trading it or using it for meager transactions that other coins can do, is a big take away point for me and why I prefer to invest in Bitcoin anyday rather than just another coin which could be profitable this minute and crash the next.
