TurnTrips.poker has moved from bitcoin to FIMKrypto!

It is no secret that small bitcoin poker sites have had a hard time getting established.   In fact we found that pretty much all we did, as a bitcoin poker site, was give players bitcoins to play at other sites.
Obviously giving away money so people could just then use it to play at a competing site, doesn't make for long term sustainability.

But we still believe we have something to offer.  We are as committed to establishing and building trust as we have ever been. 
So we examined how we could best continue our long term goals of providing a trusted and active poker site and Our evaluations took us to FIMKrypto.

This coin, while still relatively small, packs a fantastic set of features and is purposely being built up slow, to avoid the typical "pump and dump" cycle by other alt coins.

The FIMK software is easy to use and enables strongly encrypted p2p private messaging and every node running the FIMK wallet software also contributes towards the stability of the payment network, and for this is eligible to compete for block rewards (called forging) that are distributed from the network automatically every 30 seconds.

The Bigger freerolls occur later in the week, so for example, you 5 or 6 days to qualify for the 25 chip freerolls and all week to qualify for the 100 Chip. 
As mentioned the points and freeroll amounts will change as we get real data and stats to make more informed decisions. 

Don't forget that since your playing real money games, you would have had to deposit and would also be earning Welcome Bonus Chips along the way.

If you've qualified for the 25 Chip Freeroll, you will also have earned 3 chips in welcome bonus.
If you've qualified for the 100 Chip Freeroll, you will also have earned 15 chips in welcome bonus.

Not earth shattering, but for the mathematically inclined you will see this is the equivalent of 30% rakeback.

No, on any tournament that has less than 5 players the prize goes to 1st place only.  We've had freerolls the last 2 days and I believe they've both had 4 players.  I only stated 2 because I want everyone to know that these are going to start regardless of # of entries.  Of course our hope is all of this will be a non issue as more people become eligible.  As the entries grow we will add more freerolls so to not make the prizes to small for number of people playing.  Remember these are player loyalty freerolls, so our intention is to give chips to our players.

There are 25 chip freerolls coming up Friday and Saturday and our 100 chip freeroll on Sunday.

Of course we can get you going again.  Opening a support ticket is the best way to take care of this.

A quick update...

Well June is coming to an end and with it the Grand Opening we had.  Were we a little disappointed at "Grand Opening" activity?  Sure we were.  But we get it.  Rome wasn't built in a day.  We've said all along our intent was to build trust and that comes with time.  While activity was light, we did process dozens of withdrawals and there isn't any better way to build trust that speedy withdrawals.  But I must say that if you're a poker player, you missed out on the awesome rake back deal we had going on. Welcome bonus plus the Race for Rakeback equaled 90% rake back for some players.

But we move forward.

Site changes.

We now have 10 chip, 25 chip and 100 chip freerolls.  But they are for players only.  Each require more play to qualify.  But it isn't hard.  the 10 chip freerolls can probably be achieved in 20-30 minutes playing 20NL, The 25 chip freeroll was easily achieved in 1 session of 20NL by several players.  In any case, All of these freerolls will start with only 2 players, so in this case the early bird(s) really will catch the worm.

What happened to the unrestricted 5 chip freeroll?
It's gone.  It served no other purpose than to be a BTC faucet for a handful of players.  we're told all the time that we need freerolls so people can try out the site, but it really never works out that way.  Heck we even had people playing our freeroll, always immediately withdrawing (which is of course fine), but then bad mouthing us in the chat!  I mean really?

The unrestricted freerolls served zero marketing effect and none of the participants used that experience to "test" us out, and then played and significant real games.  We would much rather give these chips to loyal players.

TurnTrips is for Poker Players
We are starting to pick up some activity, mostly at the 10nl and 20nl and in the US mornings.  It is nice to have 4 or 5 players.  But we want more.  If your a real poker player and you want to be rewarded for your loyalty, I ask you to give us a shot.  The Freerolls are only the beginning.  We will always find ways to reward loyalty, and we have more ways coming soon.

We also have our 100% Welcome bonus, which is a bonus that your earn as you play up to 2 BTC.  This bonus never expires, and will be added to your account with every deposit up to 2 BTC, regardless of how long it takes.  It's a great way to try us out with a small deposit, but still maximize the bonus down the road when we earn your trust.

100 Chip Freeroll begins in about 30 minutes.  Going to be very few entrants and there are several "real players" who have not signed up.
Still time to jump in a real game, get raked and join.  I guess fewer than 6-10 people will actually show up, so its going to be a very short field for a nice payout.

Just checked and you do have a raked hand, and your permission to play has been added to your player account.  You should be able to join.

I encourage you and others to play more ring if you can.  Soon the freerolls that players can join will be based on how much they play.  The more you play the bigger the freeroll you can enter.
We believe in rewarding real players.  So far we've seen little upside to unrestricted freerolls most of the players don't use them to "check us out", but rather as away to collect bitcoins and cash out.  Not to mention the multi-account issue discussed above.

If your a real player, and want to be rewarded for your play, I hope you will check us out.  June is winding down, and it's unfortunate so few are maximizing the promotions we have going.

Totally agree with the mutli-account.  IT IS CHEATING, PERIOD!
We will take steps to cleaning up the multi-accounts, and we have already removed some.  But it is more difficult to detect if someone knows what they are doing.

We appreciate and understand that this is one of the main problems at BTC sites, and why high limit players are very few.  We are working on various ways to break through this issue.  But it will require people to provide a bit more verifiable information.  More on this down the road.
