I started a thread for getting COMM on cryptsy at their freshdesk. We have two pages of comments already, but we need a lot more. The last comment was 20 hours ago!

Please keep commenting and voting there.

I think it's impossible to get on cryptsy only by vote. You know that, you must "donate" BTC to it.  I think it's not necessary.

You could say the same for mintpal, where most coins seem to buy votes. We are getting good numbers of genuine mintpal votes from our community, not from buying them. We could do the same to get on cryptsy.
Any exchange will list any coin if they smell big money. It's all about greed. There isn't even one reputable alt. coin exchange which don't operate out of pure greed. Poloniex at least add interesting coins, unlike many other exchanges. Cryptsy is most disgusting and shady of them all, but it's also the biggest one with highest volume.

How can toiletcoin like (WC) Whitecoin get to Mintpal before COMM? It's just pump and dump scamcoin to those that missed Blackcoin. I hate these corrupt exchanges. Bribes are big business to them.  Angry

I have stopped voting for Mintpal !

22,4% of our friends are going to dump all their coins immediately after listing on Mintpal !

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576303.20

Let yourself dumpers vote !

Generally, I have a suggestion! Let's distribute the remaining 80M coins among those participants who still have not sold more than 5% of their coins! Then others will think!
I think real percentage is going to be much higher. Kids who live with their parents and other unemployed will dump as soon as it hits 250 satoshi. I can afford to keep my coins and I'll probably buy more, because I have a real fuckin job!  Cheesy

Someone just traded COMMs for 500 Satoshi on https://www.allcrypt.com/market?id=434
I don't know if this was intentional or accidental mistake but it happend ;p

This is how shitty exchanges exploited to paint charts, there is no best match. Same shit as cryptorush.

You might be right actually.

But right there I guess, buyer simply missed a zero placing buy order.

Yes I feel that so. He wanted to put buy order above 49 Sat in my opinion but just mistaken. Happened to me once also but for not much of money happily ;p
It has happened to me in shitty exchanges many times. That should not be possible in proper exchange. Always respect highest bidder and lowest seller. Even if you try to pay too much, you should get lowest seller price and leftover money returned to your account. That's how it works in proper exchanges like Cryptsy.

So now we are sure that AllCrypt doesn't support that.
Yep, that's because they are fucking amateurs who want to scam you out of your money. Newsflash: They don't give a fuck about security either.

But I still feel this coin should be re-launched because of the 200m 'lost' coins. Relaunch it and then give away the coins fairly, once they have been distributed fairly then it may stand somewhat of a chance, right now it will die because of the lost coins.

No need to change the name. No need to change the website, or anything for that matter. Just bring up the coin in its original form (100% premine) and start again. It would be a more fair distribution now as a lot more people know about it, and most certainly extend the distribution to a lot more than 500. Find how many active members of the community exist, get the total number of coins and divide it by #members.

So who is with me on the re-launch? or are we going to promote a coin that could potentially see a huge dump in the future when the dev sell that 20% in one day? He may have genuinely lost them, by why take that risk when it's so easy to launch a new coin? As I said, the coin already exists, it just can be reset, the website already exists, just update the wallet to the new one, the community already exists...

relaunch??? not a good idea i think, how about those who buy the coins in the exchange? the coins is doing fine, we will just monitor the lost coins as much as we can.

What's the point of that? It's like monitoring a tank saying "don't worry, i'll stop it if it fires". What will you do if he decides to dump all his coins on all exchanges within the space of an hour? Nothing. There is nothing anyone can do then except watch their own coin value disappear into nothingness and watch the dev become rich.

Of course you want a relaunch when you missed the giveaway. I notice that your plan involves re-doing the giveaway and not just distributing them back to the same people.

Don't try and act all noble when actually what you're doing is trying to fuck over anyone who as already bought these coins on an exchange just so you can make up for missing the boat.
What a hell Chris180Z? Someone sent you 100k coins for free, you ungrateful creature.

There won't be relaunch. I'm 100% sure. It's not an option, it would be different coin then.

Dear Community: we have to report an incident to you. This morning one of our team members computer had a hard-drive failure, and as a consequence many files were lost including one of our COMM coin depot wallet, with approximately 196.8 mil COMMs in it. Despite all efforts we are not able to recover the wallet, and unfortunately no backup was made for this wallet (while we made backups for other wallets, this one was somehow missed as it was created later than others).

This is the wallet:
http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3H

We are sorry about this incident, and we want to sincerely apologize to the community. Since the wallet (private key) was erased, it is like this amount of coins was never mined.

Haha, loled very hard. And there are people who believe this. Nice.
We all know this. It's not your concern. It's not matter of belief. We have nothing to lose. We got free coins, you did not. You missed the boat. Go buy it or shut up.  Wink

I switched to paranoia mode ON, just updated AV and all I could... Smiley

av is shit

try malwarebyte + hitman pro + virus total, super protection
+ Peerblock to blacklist unwanted ip addresses.  Wink

"PeerBlock lets you control who your computer "talks to" on the Internet.  By selecting appropriate lists of "known bad" computers, you can block communication with advertising or spyware oriented servers, computers monitoring your p2p activities, computers which have been "hacked", even entire countries!  They can't get in to your computer, and your computer won't try to send them anything either."

Just to make it clear, assume you are using 2 instances of CommunityCoin-Qt with 3M balance at home and at work. At home you sent 1K to somewhere, 2999000 COMM change will go to original address or another hidden one will be created for this change. Now you still have 2999000 COMM. You go to work, opened wallet and realised that there are no coins at all, because your wallet at work now stale and does not contain private key for this hidden address with 2999000 COMM. You are thinking that coins were stolen becase you see -3M transaction. Than you come home, opened wallet and realised that coins are there! Holy cow! You are so happy!
It could be, I don't understand, why people wants to have their wallets on more than 1 computer... thanks for explaining for them

Because I am all in crypto for example, I am trading and mining at home and at work, I have 2 instances of every wallet at home and at work. We are doing it hard with a friend of mine, sometimes I am falling asleep at morning and he taking over because of huge timezone diff with USA. I need my coins accessible from everywhere.
I'm using two different computers too. Depending where I am. Latest wallet.dat version is always with me on thumbflash drive.

Safe nodes...
1: Shut-down AIRcoin wallet.
2: delete "peer.dat"
3: add these nodes

addnode=107.170.20.200
addnode=188.226.182.21
addnode=54.186.33.252
addnode=75.151.232.141
addnode=188.165.194.96
addnode=5.250.177.28

This will not stop them from connecting, but ensures that you have some safe nodes, so those rogue-nodes are not the only ones you find.

Nice program... PeerBlocker... (Back from the days of winMX. lol. Still works great for many reasons. Nice blacklists too.)
http://www.peerblock.com/releases

Thanks. I've used peerblock for many years. If I remember correctly some aircoin pools are blacklisted by peerblock.
At least Okaypool was/is and maybe airpool.org was too. Can't remember anymore.

edit: With your suggested nodes, I seem to still have the same problem with synching. "0 hours remaining" and "Processed 43471 of 551316 remaining". Maybe I should try to synch the wallet again from the beginning.

edit2: Did not work! I'm not going to touch my wallet again until teamaircoin sort this "fork" out of the way.

Adriano, how is multipool payments coming in? My address seem to have payment already, but how about other miners? I don't know if I have stomach to mine and wait whole week before getting payment. You know, I mean I can mine directly to my own wallet and buy COMM by myself instead. It would be nice to get some coins before we hit Mintpal.

Here is my current stats:

Bitcoins sent to you: 0.01370996
Bitcoins earned (not yet sent): 0.00657247
Bitcoins unconverted (approximate): 0.00157968
Bitcoins expected (earned + unconverted): 0.00815215

I am assuming I have been rejected for moving coins around.

I am moving on.  I was hoping I would be accepted for the second round because I bring value to this coin as a programmer and web developer.

I have already put a lot into this coin but just cannot continue developing for a coin that finds me unworthy.

Maybe someday some second round coins will show up in my wallet and surprise me.

But until then, I have an exciting project coming up involving developing a new type of faucet so I will devote my time to that.  Smiley
Get out of here. You ungrateful bastard!

We do what we can do. Somebody votes every hour at mintpal, somebody creates funny photos. You can do your part by doing something you like.  Wink Twitter and reddit promotion for example is highly wanted.

Maybe I'll be banned, but I need to post this.

I received a PM quoted below:

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

ONCE AGAIN I KINDLY ASK TO EVERY COMMUNITY MEMBER NOT TO RESPOND TO PROVOCATIONS OF eight**** AND scam_ex***! JUST DON'T QUOTE, ANSWER OR TRY TO PROVE ANYTHING! THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND NEEDLESS AND VERY THREATENING TO THIS THREAD!!! THERE ARE NO SMOKES WITHOUT BARRELS!

So I don't believe anymore in this forum fairness. Those, who are scamming on this forum are able to post anything they have in mind, but my trials to make the thread more healthier are assumed as something threatening.

So many hours and efforts involved to COMM, but those two guys are ruining every effort of us.

You are definitely right.

A self moderated thread is necessary measure to be taken if we want to survive these kind of trolls.

Community dev what do you say?

Same thing happened to me. Even just a one line response to a one line post in which was agreeing that the trolls should be ignored. I literally, wrote : "I agree, you guys are right." That got deleted. It confused me because some really virulent posts remained. I am gonna go out on a limb and give the benefit of a doubt that perhaps the moderators have had a lot of requests to check up on stuff and there was some quick deleting going on. My inbox continues to get requests for free BC due to the fake post that was put up in my name by one of the trolls, so it felt a little strange. Almost like some sort of retaliation for reporting it. But that is likely a perception that I developed in the moment. It has been a long day.

Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable. I really don't understand the moderating stance of the forum. It seems nothing to do with fairness.  Shocked
