-snip-

Please stay on topic, you dont see others posting their sob stories here either do you?
[/quote]

Its a public forum and my post is relevant to this topic.. Also its not a sob story I couldn't care less if they took my business or not to be honest. Its there loss at the end of the day and the loss of the good and decent lenders on there.

Just felt it was a bit shocking to make it so that I couldn't take a loan because of political issues.. I thought bitcoin was all about not getting involved in political and financial markets.. since that was the whole point of bitjam in the first place.. P2P lending.. Not looking at things like currency fluctuation and if a nation decided to leave the eu or not...

Game changer miner indeed, great to see PandaMiner delivered this.  I can see a lot more applications beyond mining.

Assuming you had to reinstall Windows, are the drivers available? I hope more people on here can also test out running Linux on it before I jump in.

I will be testing with linux when I place my order and will add a updated to the topic once my box arrives!

While I am unable to comment on the above post as I am new to dash (literately just got into it few hours ago)

I have been over to there community and they seem to have a strong backing and good documentation regarding dash.

I will make my own mind up in time by getting involved and seeing for myself how they operate.

But to be honest there projects look good and the tech aspect also looks to be sound but I suppose only time will tell.

One final note, Things change, go through bad times, I wonder if what you post was at early stages of dash and has since been changed.

Thanks for the additional post though I will have a read at it.

Re: [CHEAP!] BRAND NEW FITBIT SURGE | ANY COLOR & SIZE

If it was legit deal then there would be no issue but the fact it uses social engineering to fraud devices from fitbit then I don't see how its a good deal when it is possible for the end users who accepts the deliver to be implicated.

I'm sure there are other "scams" or fraudulent items being sold here like accounts for netflix ect but dose that make it right?

Also it would be the end user who cop the trouble for having them delivered to there address,

I'm sure if a big company like fitbit realized what is going on and are blacklisting addresses then they might hand that info over to the authorities..

I'm not here to trash his thread but people need to be aware of what they are doing and the consequences if they decided to take up on the deal the OP is offering.

I think each setup has its advantages and disadvantages to be honest.

Phill dose hit the nail on the head its out the box kinda stuff for the less "advanced" setup user. Also the ascetics are far betting having a nice box there and would look better in home setting,

I look forward to more post's regarding the miner phil,  Will sidehack be getting his hands onto one of these to see if there is any "tweeks" that could be achieved on these machines!

I really wanted these to worth buying; but they aren't.

A 5x 1070 rig costs almost exactly the same and will produce 1900+ sol/s @ ~850 watts with stock settings.

With optimized settings you should be able to get 1900+ sol/s @ ~550 watts.

This is with equipment that is easy to resell, and is likely to hold its value well over time.

The panda miner needs to be both; way more efficient, and have a significantly lower price.

As it is now: it's just a ripoff targeting new miners.

I don't mine nvidia cards but if you are correct

you need to spend 399 per card 5 x 400 = 2000 + 300 is 2300

so the 1070 gets 375h?   if so it would be better.  but I dont use them.  do you have a rig of nvidia 1070 mining   if so please place a screen shot showing 5 cards getting around 1800-1900 h  and please show the 850 watts at the wall.

Not to mention you need to have some way to mount them all which cost's money where as this comes in one unit plug and play. Buying cards and setting them up requires additional work and investment.

Is dash still a thing? Worth investing? Any new tech to believe? Hype?

Have a look here. this is a good place to see what GPU cards are best or were best for bitcoin. So I surmise they will be fine for all Altcoins.

We still can make $1000 in 2016
No, I have lost the hope for that. Will only be possible in 2017. But within first week of 2017 itself, this way this brand new year is going to ensure a place in bitcoin's history of prime events.

Agreed after looking at the movements on kraken I hope to see £760+ GBP price..

Re: BTC38 hot wallet got hacked and lost 1.5 million
by

The reason behind all the hacking when the price starts to rise is down to the value nothing more..

Why would a hacking group spend months, working on a site or trying to gain access to the admin accounts by what ever method if the reward is low. or there is no demand for what they plan to steal..

I think when price rises people should be very careful leaving funds in exchanges or casinos or games, because they all become targets for hackers when the price gets high.

Withdraw your funds if you have them tucked away on ANY site. get them in your wallet take control!

If you need to trade or play put only what you need into the accounts!!

Don't let 2017 be a repeat of previous years. We all know the MTgox and other high profile hacks happened when the price went up!

What are you doing/done for NYE 2016
by

on 31/12/2016, 20:35:54 UTC
So.. Its a few hours to go before we say goodbye to 2016 and hello here in the UK..

Its been a tough year, the world is is a horrible state.
My personal issues this year have been very tough losing my mother at the start of the year.
Trump became president (the world needs new pants with the amount of shit accumulating in them with what will be)
The UK passed the snoopers charter laws (making UK a less "free" society)

Now for the good.

The bitcoin price had a good rise and is still on the UP and UP!
Bitcoin became more "public" this year than any other!
David Cameron got to fuck out the UK government!
Edward snowden is still a "free" man!
Wikileaks is still up!

Whats everyone plans? Getting drunk? Having a quiet one?
This year I am having a super quiet time this year spending it with the family with a few whiskey's and a small singsong!

Would love to hear what you have planned or if you have already seen in the new year and are "hungover"

All the best for 2017 when it arrives!!

I used them for a loan send them all my documents including bank statements, Passport scans, Photo of me holding my passport, and few other documents..

I have 2 loans there both were paid back first being £400 second being £1700

After the 2nd loan I decided I was going to apply for a £3000 loan as my credit rating was B which is really good on there site.

This was just about the time for brexit where we decided to leave the EU and the pound dropped!, I logged in to find my account had been degraded and i was no longer able to apply for a loan even after all the information about my income had been verified.. and multiple accounts linked like facebook. email localbitcoins ect ect,

There reply was dew to the pound dropping we don't feel we can serve UK customers anymore..

Shocking.. Yes.. considering I had a verified income of over £75,000 a year!

My advice would be stay away. they seem to pick and choose who they allow to use there service..

And I also agree there is a lot of defaults there I lost £100 I split across x6 investment's.. ever one defaulted..
Yet I made all my payments on time and actually cleared my 2nd loan ahead of time!

I have asked them to confirm to me there reason in full as to why they will no longer accept my request for a loan all I get now is sorry the system will not allow it.. (Dew to drop in pound value)

I then contacted them to tell them I wanted my account removed and all my information destroyed.. they still have not done this and the account is still active....

Re: What exactly is "taint" with bitcoins?
by

on 31/12/2016, 19:14:04 UTC
I don't see how they can bring a red flag against you if you end up with tainted coins. lets say they have been passed about for a number of years the taint will always be with them, Just look at some of the coins from the silkroad and places like MTgox hacks..

Those coins are still rolling round out there somewhere, But dose that mean if you by some "legit" reason you ended up with some of these coins places like exchanges would refuse to accept them?? Or worse freeze them?

Here is one address that was used in movement of Gox funds.. The taint analysis says it all

Might be something they would consider sorting out make it easier to get full EN language.
Or release versions with it pre-set to EN might be a worth while exercise for them.

I would also like to know the answer to the fraud question.

Let me know if you have a Skype I can add for further discussion because I know you have a 6 minute post/pm delay.
It's social engineering as mentioned by the seller.  Which is illegal, by the way.  You are stealing from the company.

I did also point this out prior,  Some people just have no clue that there actions affect everyone else.. Fitbit lose money.. There tech price goes up..

We all pay more for there products.. They lose money..

= FRAUD...
