well i invest a lot.. i believe that investment is the only way you can make real big profits..

Although i participate in giveaways too.. i consider it as bonus.

i think theres more then 1 way to acquire profits. But,  most of my btc is just held at this time.

Some are split with the legit cloud mining stuff.

Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ?

Gambling for sure can be a profitable thing to do especially poker, if you have the time and the talent to invest in getting better and better you can start playing on real tournaments and if you are good enough you can start earning quite large amounts of money. But it requires many start up money to invest in online tournaments in order to get some experience and become better and better. If you are focused and you want to do that you can be one of the best poker player out there.

yeah but he odds of being a pro poker player are slim.

its similar to how there are few day traders.. doing it successfully.

Re: How much can you earn with gambling?

-snip-
Also, there is something called Kelly formula https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelly_formula, which tells you how much you should risk in each bet when the bets are favourable (+EV) to you. But when the bets are unfavourable (-EV) to you, it tells you not to make the bet.

Your link about kelly formula is awesome, maybe we can learn good strategy from it, if we wanna be +EV, mastering math is a necessary thing. But I think every bet is independent, how to choose when to bet big, when to bet small?

Yes every bet is independent and so Kelly formula does not tell you to change your bet size based on your previous rolls, unlike in progressive strategies like martingale. Your bet size (as % of your total bankroll) should stay the same as long as the win chance and multiplier are unchanged.

This stragegy is better because if there is a large losing streak, you won't get taken out like in martingale however since there is still a house edge you can lose.

Hmm it seems you have misunderstood it. If you follow the Kelly formula, you would never ever bet in those dice, roulette, BJ or any games with a positive house edge, as all those bets give you a negative EV. Instead you would only be on the other side of the bet, either be the site owner or be a bankroll investor.

regardless of whateever forumla, one should approve a proven mistake repeated by others.

if the mass are losing, it means no one should really follow..

No one can predict this, it's all about luck and how much risk you wanna take. Although betting on football and cricket matches you can use statistics to reduce the risk and watch out for highest probabilities and that's pretty much it. I would advice that if you are gambling then just play for fun and don't addicted towards gambling otherwise it will wreck your life.

the most I made with gambling alone was prob $100.

And that was at a real table casino playing roulette just happened to not land on 1 row line. But I dont see sports being any different either.

Re: How much did you lose through Cryptodouble ?
by

YEs but you can lose in 2 ways.

1) The site is an entire scam and whether they get enough deposits or not, they will never pay you.

2) The site is legit and you will only get paid if it has enough support to pay you. Basically get in early.

Yes. So now - both options are scams or only first?  Cheesy

Basically #2 option, is a scam after not being in early enough to get your principal balance back lol. Everyone else joining late will get scammed.
