Re: DO YOU ANY OF YOU WORKOUT?🏋💪
by

Working out is a very personal thing and can mean a lot of different things. I personally love lifting weights and I do it 4x a week,  but many people prefer running, or just doing their favorite sport on weekends. There is no one form of working out that everyone will enjoy, so finding what you like is more important than sticking to something you don't just cause you know its good for you. Of course its good to get a variety of things in, but if you enjoy it there is a much higher chance that you will come back and keep doing it long term

Re: Crypto Portfolio Diversification

Generally, cryptocurrency portfolio diversification reduces the risk But comes out with a lower return compared to the opposite strategy.
Diversifying is a good idea, but doing it in unsystematic way is such a YOLO idea. That's when it becomes very risky.

This is a principle that works in the stock markets, but works opposite in crypto. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the safest of the assets, and the further down you go in market cap the more risk you present. Nearly all alts move with bitcoin still, just with exaggerated upsides and downsides. To say that diversification is safer would imply that some altcoins move differently, but they all really move the same, generally together. There are some times when alts move instead of bitcoin, but in general if you just stuck with BTC or ETH and avoided all other alts you would be much more likely to have consistent gains.

Honestly the point is moot. The problem is the source of energy not the usage of the energy. Stop using fossil fuels and it wouldn't matter one bit. Either way though, proof of stake is definitely the future of crypto, from a scalability, efficiency, and environmentally friendly standpoint

Re: why more women to trade crypto?
by
Unibiker
on 08/07/2021, 06:34:43 UTC
Funnily how they're trying to force certain genders into certain industries.

Nursing, education, and social-related jobs are female dominated; whereas physical-related , computer-related, and architecture jobs are male dominated. WHICH IS TOTALLY FINE.

This is feminist propaganda and nothing else.
Is anyone or anything stopping women from trading cryptocurrencies or having a Bitcoin wallet?I don't think so.
The cryptocurrency industry is male dominated, because men are usually more tech savvy and more interested into financial stuff.Women are more than welcome in the cryptocurrency world, but it's not our problem, that the vast majority of women don't express any interest in digital finance and blockchain technology.

Men aren't inherently more tech savvy or interested in financial stuff, that's just how American culture has been thus far, and doesn't have to continue to be. For the past century, really verging on since the beginning of kingdoms in Europe, men have been designated the role of money maker, simply because they could physically control those who might wish to take that role instead, specifically women. At the same time, historically it has also no been acceptable for men to show as much emotion/empathy and thus women have dominated the industries where it is beneficial for someone to be more emotional and show more empathy for others. The reason more men are more interested than women in these industries is because society has formed us that way. While this shit about robinhood is kinda bs, and a ridiculous manipulation play, the rest of you guys are completely downplaying the importance of having diversity of thought in all aspects of life, including crypto and financial industries. You should care, because history tells us that when more people have a voice at the table, more ideas are presented and more successful achievements are made. There's nothing inherently stopping women from joining these industries, the same as men joining women dominated fields, but the societal expectations are pushing people into predefined boxes which no one should deem acceptable. You should be pushing for diversity if you really want bitcoin and crypto to prosper. At the very least, it means more buyers and more demand, making your coins worth more.

Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin?

Most of it is just lack of knowledge imo. Every new technology has its haters. If you look back a few years ago, many many bankers were saying it was a scam and a ponzi or whatever, but now they are all investing their hedge funds into crypto and have held back criticism after buying in. Honestly seems to me like they are talking down about crypto just to lower the price to get better buy ins. In the end, rich people love making more money, and crypto is just one more way to do that, so why would they avoid it unless they just don't understand that yet.

Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ?
by
Unibiker
on 07/07/2021, 20:11:57 UTC
Its curious how many people are afraid of what potential long term effects there might be with the vaccine, when none have been seen as of yet. At the same time, the possible long term negative effects of Covid are quite evident, including issues with memory and brain function, irreparable damage to internal organs, and potential to cause erectile dysfunction. It has also been shown to increase the chance for stroke, lung damage, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s, all of which are proven to be way worse than any vaccine side effects. The rate of some of the claimed "side effects" of the vaccine are often shown to be at levels less than the general population, which, in layman terms, just means they are fabricated. We may not know what the long term effects of the vaccine are, but mRNA has been studied for over a decade and is well understood, while covid is not. Even so, we can already tell the terrible long term effects of covid and the high level of damage it does to peoples bodies, even in asymptomatic cases. You may not feel as bad in the short term, but the damage is there and isn't easy to repair

Bitcoin is definitely not as safe-haven of an asset as many would like to believe. The charts trend very similarly to the stock markets at times and when big dips happen in the economy, bitcoin generally follows. As many have already noted, its more of a digital gold than a hedge against the global economy, not directly correlated, but definitely connected.

Re: Are you worried about the delta virus variant?
by
Unibiker
on 07/07/2021, 19:37:03 UTC
Absolutely people must worried about the another variant cause we are not done yet by the Covid-19 Virus and we are not 100% has a cure ,cause Vaccine is not really the cure it's just a preventive medical so we can not affected or get virus but it's sad news that we heard that some die because of The Vaccine's cause their body can't accept the strong dosage. Hoping this two Variants will desappear so that we can live normal life Sad.

I just read yesterday that vaccinated doesn't protect anymore against the delta variant. The Pfizer Biontech vaccine had the highest immunity with 95%, but after tests in Israel where a large part of the population was vaccinated with Pfizer, the immunity dropped down to 65%. This is very scary, because we had so many variants already. With the next mutation the immunity could drop down to 30%.

Generally 65% is within the acceptable range and is capable of reaching herd immunity. The main issue is that some people are choosing not to get vaccinated. With the lower rates of effectiveness more people would need to be vaccinated in order to reach herd immunity than before, but people seem not to understand that unfortunately and use its reduced effectiveness as a reason not to get vaccinated in the first place. I remember feeling the same way as I do now about the delta when covid first came out, that there's no way it will spread that far, but we will have to just wait and see, cause for all we know its just the beginning; maybe the beginning of nothing at all, we just don't know yet

Re: Which Covid 19 Vaccine is is the best ?
by
Unibiker
on 07/07/2021, 19:31:03 UTC
Israel has shot Pfizer to all citizens and statistics evidences the result is meeting all expectations. I would put this vaccine on the first place. The shit stuff like Sputnik that comes from Russia  I wouldn’t even consider because there’s no true telling what they put in it. A good read on how pfizer-BioNTech vaccine works.

If your Pfizer vaccine was available to everyone, then there was no need for us to take Sputnik V, right? The problem is that Pfizer has restricted their sales to rich countries, where they can sell their vaccine for $75 per individual. When Brazil and Argentina asked them for the supplies, Pfizer wanted the army bases and gold reserves of these countries as collateral in returns for the medicines. On the other hand, Russia provided a lot of poor nations with the Sputnik V vaccine. And the efficacy as per The Lancet is 92%, compared to 95% for the Pfizer vaccine.

That's not the case anymore. I think USA has ample Pfizer vaccine now and they are sending it to underdeveloped countries. I am from Pakistan and we have also receive a good quantity of Pfizer vaccine.
Pakistan to receive 13m Pfizer vaccines

This is true! The USA is sending out many of their extra vaccines at this point, an the majority happen to be pfizer. Great for everyone, as it has the least reported side effects and highest level of effectiveness. USA has extra though cause people are choosing not to get it, an odd choice, but benefits other countries I guess, so sorta kinda virtuous in a way  Tongue

Re: Bitcoin will never be gone
by

I personally think bitcoin has the chance to decrease in popularity due to its unwillingness to be green. A lot of the world is realizing right now that protecting the environment is paramount and tend to take the easy route of blaming high energy use products, such as bitcoin. I personally don't see how this is as big of a problem with bitcoin as it is with how we have chosen to make energy as a society, and arguing against the usage of bitcoin is futile as it would be nearly impossible for many large democracies to ban it outright at this point. That being said, I could see a large number of users favoring ETH and other POS coins instead just simply due to their arguably equivalent or greater level of utility in addition to being much less resource intensive. It will be many many years before bitcoin even is disussed as anything but the top currency, but its dominance has been waning for quite some time and it may lose its place as the highest marketcap coin one of these days. Its all speculation, but that is how I see it!
