Opened my DGB wallet after two weeks and now I need to do a synch that apparently takes two weeks to complete... Did I miss something? Is there a bootstrap that would fix this extra synch?

DigiByte is the next coin to explode. It will go to one billion market cap until the end of the year. People already know and trust,
we only need more buyers and they will start to come. It is fast, it is Minable, it is old and reliable.

Wow! This coin has a seriously huge community if I check the ANN topic right here. Any ideas about how it's going to surf this crazy Bitcoin waves?

Today Valve stopped accepting payments in Bitcoin on Steam, and I have to admit that their reasons for doing so are completely valid. I'm posting it here because DGB is the coin I've been supporting and this can be seen as an excellent case study on the use of cryptocoins in the real world, which applies to all of them.

What should an investor do with a coin that just moves down or stays at the same low area? Currently I do not see a potential move up as no sustainable development is/was communicated, or did I miss something?

Aesthetically, your design is very much preferable IMO and something I’d hope, if possible, the developers will take on board.  
I’m certain, by being posted here; it is something that they can see.

Guys stop with all this nonsense . We saw the biggest companies like Lehman Brothers , Enron and more collapsed like nothing within hours , how do you define what's shit what's not. What proves that BTC will survive at all ? We don't know what will happen tomorrow . DGB it s a great project and the few coins that today are on the tops are benefiting of marketing effect having BTC as king of publicity without offering anything really strong compared to others . Just make sure you diversify your portfolio not to put all the eggs in one basket and we have to wait and see. No one can say today which coin will grow and survive even (except the small project). Tomorrow someone can come up with a great idea and change everything .

Certainly I agree with you regarding slow growth. I just find it rather ironic that despite 4 years or so of Jared & the team laying all the solid groundwork and slogging away day in day out, it was hype buying that seems to have gotten DigiByte noticed in the crypto world.

It's outside of crypto that DigiByte needs to be noticed though of course, and there will be no shortcuts there.

btc down to $ 2475, will we perhaps see market explode tomorrow?

First off, thank you to all the long term DigiByte supporters and a very warm welcome to all the new DigiByte community members here!  Things have been very hectic the past few weeks.  

This sudden rise caught all of us by surprise as much as it did some of you.  If you look at the history of other major crypto markets as well as the history of DigiByte you can quickly tell things can get volatile very quickly. So please make sure to take the time to fully educate yourself on cryptocurrency trading and blockchain technology in general. And please note we do not answer speculation questions or make forecasts or predictions. We are here to focus on the core technology and the true innovations and applications that blockchain technology allows us to build.

We are actively working to expand the team and get better organized. The recent Citi Tech 4 Integrity Challenge was a great event for DigiByte! We were told that we were one of the finalists in the competition and it was a tough decision for the judges that day.  However, the competition is not over yet.  The main awards will be concluded in July where over 60 awards from several of the main partners will be awarded.

We made several great connections with some very large companies. However, please understand it takes time for things to move forward with such large organizations. Please do not expect anything to happen overnight.

Most blockchain businesses are flooded at the moment with a backlog of news users and messages. So please understand we are working to get through the 1000's of messages we get each day across all our social media including Twitter, Telegram, Reddit, Email and here and more. It is a very exciting time but there will be growing pains!  

Finally, a few housekeeping notes. All recent orders on DigiByte Market will be refunded due to the recent price fluctuations. We also want to point out the dev team is not the organizer of the meme contest or the developers of the Minecraft server. Ye unfortunateluy I went and bought it on the high at it's ATH and had to sell it on the way down before it crashed. I am so curious why people sell so fast and just all dump together? Is this an inside job or just the usual irrational trading from the holders? 

So I'll just leave this here. I don't think the Citi thing is over (from what I can tell). Maybe someone can elaborate more on this?
