Sustainable is the opposite of our current money system. When a positive number in your pocket describes a negative asset, you are far away from sustainable living Cheesy

For sustainable living I would recommend to start building a farm and be autonomous in every aspect.

It will be much more popular, because then it's actually used widely.

Definitely, money as we are using it today is equivalent to financial debt. They just left out the “-“ upfront.

Re: The END of ICO's?
by
VFabio
on 29/09/2017, 14:49:05 UTC
It was just the beginning!

Rulers (or governments) are trying to keep disruptive technologies under control and basically just try to utilise it for their own interests by exploiting the weaker as much as they can until the basis for realising their plans is set.

So when the infrastructure for high finance of cryptos is set, I believe they'll open up the ecosystem for the mainstream.

Re: Why isn't crypto going mainstream?

I think the infrastructure is not set for mainstream adoption. User friendly interfaces are just the beginning of what we need to adopt crypto as an everyday asset/value/payment medium.

People need to understand blockchain as a revolutionising technology which is very likely to disrupt our established money system. That's also the most pregnant reason why the adoption is so “slow“. Rulers want to keep control and power over their established system. One difficulty I see is to not have a privatised framework, as we have it now.

The blockchain must remain free!

We haven't got any celebrity who is officially backing us, but a running beta is online since March '17.

Go check it out here.

Our Pre-ICO closed on 17 September at 514 ETH. The bounty campaign is still active. So it's worth having a look to be part of our ICO in November.

I'm open to answer questions in a personal message!

Re: Ethereum's only use case is issuing ICO's
by

Ethereums only actual real use case thus far has been issuing ICO's. Billions worth of ICO tokens have been deployed by Ethereum's smart contracts.

Bro, it's not issuing ICOs, it's providing smart contract technology and facilitating its use - and that's insane!

It makes it the father of digital assets imho. You're presenting it as if smart contracts were useless Cheesy

It's the people issuing ICOs, not Ethereum... That kinda proofs the demand.

Hello Bounty Hunters!

Consider taking part in Crowdholding's bounty campaign. We have a 10% referral program on investments e.g.!

Check out our Bitcointalk thread.

Re: ⚡️COINS ≠ TOKENS🔥
by

You are missing the whole point. The main purpose of tokens is to allow startup companies to form capital without the need to go through big banks and regulatory agencies. This is only made possible by the blockchain.

This is the legal grey zone exploited by startup companies.

Sustainability of token based business models is the crucial point to focus on. An ICO is a way to raise funds for exactly those business types. Regulations will try to prevent investors from investing in tokens without potential, which means more requirements to fulfil for businesses to make an ICO.

If what you are claiming is the main purpose of tokens, I would like to ask you for the main purpose of coins. If there is a difference for you...

I only invest in coins. Bitcoin, ethereum, waves, lisk, neo, ripple, litecoin, dash, monero, these are enough for me for investing and trading.

Tokens are bubble. Only a few tokens are worth of it. Invest in gambling tokens but do not invest the tokens that are saying they are going to change the world.

Can you explain why?

⚡️COINS ≠ TOKENS🔥
by
VFabio
on 31/08/2017, 11:44:31 UTC
I'm into the topic of cryptocurrencies for a while now and there is one thing I'm really concerned about.

COINS ≠ TOKENS

It's essential to understand the difference. Coins are holding values as main functionality whereas tokens represent digital assets.

I like that Coinmarketcap.com makes a clear difference between those two.

You can see that there is no bitcoin for example.

What makes me so concerned is that people pump&dump their coins all day long, deceiving people without horizontal knowledge about cryptocurrencies. There is basically no need for more than one decentralised coin. Defining the ecosystem it makes sense to have a competition or even co-opetition, but not forgetting to have the end in mind - A decentralised economy.

Every splitter-coin will die, i.e. pumped and dumped. Dumped on the dump of Bitcoin. Lets it grow. Stop wasting your money and even more valuable time on small coins. Probably you will be dealing with a bot anyway.

Maybe we'll need a coin for every major industry in the future, depending on its token flow habits. But currencies need to be backed by asset.

Thanks for attention. I'm looking forward to your comments.

Re: What do you look for in a new coin?
by
VFabio
on 31/08/2017, 10:11:28 UTC
A new coin from now on should be a token. We don't need more bitcoin copies, all support should go into one coin-currency. Tokens are much more interesting due to their functionality. The ecosystem in which the token is issued should be dependent on its use, i.e. functionality of the token is essential for the business. This ensures growth. Sending values around is inflationary.

What do you think how many decentralised currencies can co-exist?
