Been looking at the order market depth books and seems that people got front run who wanted to buy in the $7500 area. It's very clear on Bitmex that people were either looking to long there or shorts looking to close there. Reason why the $7500 area was important is because it's an important psychological number and it was resistance during the rally and was strong support during the dip afterwards, people were expecting a quadruple type of bottom I guess.
And what happened was price came close, rally happened and now those orders were moved up all of a sudden. This is why when trading crypto you need to be careful of those simple common support and resistance areas since most traders are looking at the same thing. People were expecting $9000 to be support also but look what happened instead.
Isn't a 7500 dollars price range some sort of a Fibonacci level? If you look at recent bitcoin performance then you can see that $9000 wasn't ever gonna hold. When $9500 level was broken then only $7500 was only reasonable support level.
It would offer a DCA opportunity, but nothing more than that. It's bearish to see the price close below the 200EMA on the daily without bouncing off it first. In most cases these movements provide a glimpse of what the longer term trend will look like, so unless we make a massive bounce back above $9300 and close a few daily candles there, there is not much point in pushing a bullish narrative.
I expect the price to plummet to $7000-$7500 which will be my first DCA entry point and from there I will reassess the market's behavior for my next move.
Nothing to do with DCA, after such a violent drop, going long in the sub 8000 area would be one of the highest probability trades you can make for the year, and so it turned out to be the case.
Regardless of long term outlook, the bounce was almost guaranteed, now it's not such a high probability play anymore but I expect the recovery to continue to at least above 9000 USD within the next week...
I usually look to increase my BTC holdings in general, but that is a different mindset from intraday trading activities.
Predicting moves of bitcoin is very hard at this moment. There is just too much uncertainty.
PS. Correct me if I'm wrong but decreasing your dollar cost average will lead you to increasing your bitcoin holdings.
You can see the idea though that whenever big amount of BTC goes to an exchange, normally are going to be dumped or perhaps will be used to buy some altcoins or USDT. Speculations are like rumors which has tiny bits of truths to it. Anyone will see whichever what they wanna see and falling prices are normally the cause is dumping which will lead them to believe manipulations.
Seems logical but how do you exactly can tell when someone is moving big amounts of crypto into a exchange? Is there any public data available to tell this or it's just guessing?

Personally I wouldn't go that far as 3000 dollars. It would be totally distress from mass adoption perspective and it will scare most of new potential investors which would lead to further price drop.
Bitcoin reaching $20k before 2020 is a long blurred shot even though i know how volatile bitcoin is. The market has crushed way hard to rise up that sharply. However, this is quite achievable after the upcoming halving of bitoin rewards. We have seen the price of bitcoin going higher especially after it's halvings. Let's wait patiently and see what happens by the end of 2020 and not before
I wouldn't be so sure about this. $20k dollars is just $12k away especially when we look at broader perspective and previous historical performance. After all of previous crashes we saw a pretty significant price recovery and then after recovery phase there was many people literally throwing money at crypto exchanges

First of all you can't say that this correction is over. Bitcoin can still go even lower and set a new low. If this would happened then it could mean that 43% correction wasn't so bad after all but let's not go that far and just patiently wait what the future will bring us.

Re: [ANN][ICO] GAMBLICA - The New Era of Online Gambling
I'm very sorry that due to the fact that you did not collect as much as you wanted, but it does not justify you and your inaction and the lack of news on the social networks in which I support your project. Your bounty manager disappeared. There are no new news social networks. As I understand it that you are not going to close the bounty company, but most likely you will not pay it. You will have to answer for it. Do not delete this message, but rather answer it.
It looks like they stopped marketing and this is effect of it. Maybe if they put more effort into this aspect of ICO today they would be succesfull

Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe: Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet
HitBTC are charging 100$ fee for Maidsafe withdrawal.
People should avoid that exchange imo read some really strange stories from traders over there. Missing funds, trades they didnt do .. Withdrawal fee for maid is just insane it says enough about them. Im started using poloniex again since its the only option(with some volume) to buy maid, I hope we get some more decent exchanges in the near future. Still waiting for my ticket to be answered lol
Well said. HitBTC is really awful and it should die. They charge enormous fees from developers and even from their users.
Although it has good idea but distribution model was disgusting and it raised so many question on the pump and dump drama which happened into ZCL. If you have mind than how this could be possible 1 ZCL is equal to 1 BTC and that is the reason this coin is not getting attention from big investors.
There is no option that ZCL would cost the same as bitcoin... Bitcoin is the most known cryptocurrency in the world.
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after. Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.
i learned my lesson in the hard way..
Don't worry, you didn't lose anything - you missed an opportunity which is totally different thing. There were many people who lost half of their investments because they've sold at the bottom just before rebound. And that was a hard pill to swallow.

First of all there is plenty of room for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Etherum, Monero and couple more of cryptocurrencies. Second of all I thing that there won't be any "king" because every currency has pros and cons

I don't like these kind of projects. It looks like they are trying to accomplished something and get rich only by sentimental value of this coin, without any substantial fundamental value.

I wont be original but my biggest regret is that I didn't bought bitcoin when it was 1$ per coin. Besides that I don't regret anything (well I regret that I wasn't active enough to reach legendary before this new merit system).
