Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.9.1 - native algo switching
by

V1.9.1
- Added support for Navi10 (gfx1010)
- Arto, conceal, normal, normalv7, marketcash, b2n, fast, hycon, hospital algos have lower power consumption on Vegas with auto settings
- Hopefully fixed bug with invalid job id / same job id
- If more than 5 'invalid share' messages received from pool within same connection, auto miner restart
- Fixed cn-gpu hashrate (it was lower from v.1.8.8 -> my mistake)
- CN/R program precompilation process is now only logged, not displayed on screen

+ Added support for gfx1010 card. Well at least i hope, because i don't own a rx 5700 card, so i couldn't test  Grin
It would be good if someone could test it and report back.

+ On Vega, intensity 0 (auto setting) now uses a little less power on next algorithms :
Arto, conceal, normal, normalv7, marketcash, b2n, fast, hycon, hospital

+ I tried to fix the 'invalid job', 'invalid share' issue, unfortunately i couldn't reproduce it neither earlier neither now, that's why i say i tried .. Smiley
Anyways if the problem still persists, i also added a 'protection' against this, if within the same pool connection more than 5 invalid share messages received from the pool, miner will auto restart.

+ I accidentally messed up CN/GPU hashrate from version 1.8.8, now it is fixed and hashing again at full speed

tested on 5700xt
Algo: normalv4
1 min avg: 231 H/s
5 min avg: 206 H/s
Max Speed: 866 H/s

Re: Where to find the latest Windows drivers for the NVIDIA P102-100 GPU?
by

on 26/04/2018, 19:42:26 UTC
Does anyone know where to find the latest Windows drivers for the NVIDIA P102-100 GPU?

The latest version I have found so far is 384.x from the Manli website.

The NVIDIA 391.x drivers for GeForce 10 series do not detect the P102-100 GPU unfortunately.

Drivers are from the manufacturer of the cards, not nvidia directly. So Manli will need to make an updated driver, which most likely will never happen and you will not be able to use cuda 9.1. Just like with p104/p106, drivers came from the company and they never released updated versions as nvidia updated.

This is big disadvantage of mining card that many people doesn't know.

Yes many of us do.

I refer you to this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3319142.40
is it possible to mine on my computer whose operating system is window?

Yes, by using your CPU to mine

https://downloads.electroneum.com/

does anyone mine the electroneum on its android via the app?

Its not actually mining, its like running an app and you get an ETN reward

Yes, It for marketing purpose.

But I think it a good one.

Re: AMD Ryzen hashrate?
by

on 26/04/2018, 19:31:16 UTC
I have a Ryzen 1600x no (further) overclock running mostly @ 3700Mhz

I'd like to share my hashrates in those new algos:

1- Mining Sumokoin (Cryptonight Heavy)
150H/s, 53C, 51W
2- Mining Graft (Cryptonight v7)
480H/s, 60C, 63W

Obs: I'm using the same cpu thread config for both. Am I supposed to expect that much lower a hashrate for CN heavy mining?

I think it too much drop

Q: If I wanted to donate some pizza money to the broke ass college student that typed this up, how would I do so?

A: You ask the best questions! I doubt I'll get anything before more well known people/websites copy everything I just said (with no credit, obviously), but here are some addresses just in case.

CROSS POST FROM SLACK - SNAPSHOT DATE & TIME & EXCHANGE INFORMATION:

KARMASHARK:

Good evening everyone (in Canada it is dinner time ). You all have been extremely patient while we have put together the final pieces of the snapshot and launch. We will have an exchange partner with us and that exchange is Cryptopia. Between the professionalism shown in negotiations with us and their growing positive reputation as an exchange, we felt this was an ideal pivot to make for the network. The reason why we are not using Bittrex is due to the changing regulatory landscape and the internal decisions that stemmed from that (more background checks on coins to be listed, legal requirements and potential lawyers, increased site security and KYC and AML applications). All of these changes put listing a new coin / administering an air drop to a much lower priority from Bittrex's perspective.

We are still on very good terms with Bittrex due to the hard work we put in leading up to this as we went through a thorough vetting process with them between @coins101 and myself.  This work we put will hopefully get us in a position to be listed with Bittrex once Helium launches without hitch. We continue to progress conversations with Bittrex to advance this long term goal for Helium.

About the snapshot:

The snapshot will take place on October 10th, at 10AM NZ local time (Cryptopia is a NZ exchange). The block height is 1657200 and should fall within the listed time-frame. You will want to have your Spreadcoins (SPR) in your local Spreadcoin wallet or deposited at Cryptopia in the Spreadcoin wallet in your account. Cryptopia will be assisting with the air drop of Helium coins so if you are holding your SPR at Cryptopia you will be credited an equal amount of Helium coins once the air drop commences.

In summary, you will have to two options to prepare for the Oct 10th, 10AM NZ local time snapshot of the Spreadcoin blockchain (please note the TZ and adjust for your local TZ):

Holding your SPR at Cryptopia
Holding your SPR in your local SPR wallet

Details on the launch and specifics regarding Cryptopia and holding your SPR in your local wallet will be included in the next update. We are very close now to launching the Helium network so get ready to start your engines, the show is just about to begin.

BUMP

TL;DR --

The snapshot will take place on October 10th, at 10AM NZ local time (Cryptopia is a NZ exchange). The block height is 1657200

Does Cryptopia have official statement about this snapshot yet?

Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates?

Alright actual question here.  Might be worth another thread.

I restarted my rig.  4/6 Vega 64's are hashing at 1900+ still.  2 are not.  No matter what I do with the HBCC slider for those cards, enable, disable, I cannot get the hash rate back.  The card is otherwise clocked correctly, I get the same ETH hash rate as I would expect.

Any tips?  Full clean re-install of AMD drivers?  What I wouldn't do for some non-flashy software that would let you control these settings.

I confirm this problem. No matter what you do HBCC will enable only 4 first cards.

I think it drivers problem that does not support > 4 VGA yet

-Slightly faster Kernel
-Bether speed on multicard rigs. (but with more cpu usage)

https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/tag/LBRYSP6

1.7% fee (2 minutes for me, 118 minutes for you)

Untested on many models. Please test on the 1080 ti. What hashrates are you getting?

http://i66.tinypic.com/2is9xew.png

1080ti +180core + i3-4160
mod5 6cards cpu usage <1% 500-510
mod6 1card eat 30-40% cpu  490-500
mod6 6cards always 99%cpu 450-500

I have reproduced the problem now. If you mine with a high difficulty, you sometimes get errors. diff >= 512

on yiimp and zpool you can set a fixed diff in the password like this:

-p d=256

diff 1-256 is working fine.

OK first 2minutes does not have this problem and after set diff to 256 don't get error anymore on suprnova.cc

Thank you for your great works !

Cheers.
