Re: Forkdelta ridiculous order book

ForkDelta has a number of drawbacks and these drawbacks you just need to consider and be able to use the exchange further. Perhaps for analyzing the token trading on ForkDelta it is better to look at the trading history, see how often transactions are made and what is the average purchase/sale price. This will help you determine the supply and demand of the coin that interests you. In general, the main advantage of this exchange is decentralization and the absence of any limits.

Re: Are You Still looking For New Coins When Bitcoin Dominance Hit 90%
by
Vektrum
on 27/08/2019, 05:38:57 UTC
If the dominance of Bitcoin reaches 90%, then still 10% will be allocated to other projects, which means that altcoins are still popular. Do not forget that Bitcoin cannot replace some coins, for example, those that have the function of smart contracts and the creation of tokens. Also, Bitcoin cannot replace utility tokens and coins that have a low transaction price and high speed. Therefore, Bitcoin will continue to occupy its niche and exist in parallel with altcoins.

Re: hodl no shitcoins for future altcoin season

As an interesting example, look at the EGT coin chart on coimarketcap. At the beginning of the year, the price of this coin was $0.0005 and today its price is $0.02 - this is an example of the fact that the price of any coin can grow and make a profit. But these are isolated cases that do not mean that any shitcoin can go up several tens of times.

Re: New Instagram-like service running on the NEM blockchain

Problems and a change of leadership and other negative events in NEM negatively affected its price and popularity. Perhaps this service will help NEM become popular again and begin to grow. It's great that the Japanese NEM community is so active and developing the project.

Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$

This is too high a price for Ethereum, even if he switches to PoS he will not be able to grow so much. Moreover, it should be borne in mind that with such a high price of ETH and the current value of gaz, the price of one transaction will be 20 times higher than now. Perhaps the team will make all the necessary changes to reduce the transaction price and increase network bandwidth, in which case the price of Ethereum will increase along with its popularity.

Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time
by

Looking at how many altcoins are dying, I begin to doubt that the altcoins season will begin in the near future. But I still hold different altcoins and hope for their recovery and increase in their prices. I think there is no point in waiting for altcoins before the next year of recovery, the market should clear itself of useless coins.

I had heard about this platform before when it was at an early stage of development, but then it was not clear whether it would become promising or not. Now we can say that the project is developing and growing, so we can say that it has a future. Another positive point is the payment of dividends.

Re: The biggest scam of 2018
by

on 23/08/2019, 12:09:53 UTC
Sooner or later something was about to happen in the crypto industry. Cases like this teach everyone to be more careful and not to be greedy, because greed begets projects like Bitconnect. Perhaps this example will be a lesson to many of us. Every day scam projects appear, but it depends on the community whether they will be able to raise money and deceive everyone.

A good converter, but I would like you to add more functions, indicators, graphics, then it would be more popular. Perhaps the accuracy of prices depends on the source, but even coinmarketcam shows an average value, so this is normal. In general, a convenient thing, I think for many it will be useful. I have already bookmarked it.

Re: What DEX exchange do you use?
by
Vektrum
on 21/08/2019, 04:57:10 UTC
There are many different DEXs, but for example for Ethereum-based tokens I use: forkdelta.app and for TRON-based tokens: tronwatch.market
There are many different tokens on these exchanges, so you can always sell or buy something. But you need to remember that on DEXs trading volumes do not always allow you to quickly buy or sell tokens at the price that will satisfy you and have to wait.

Re: Should we have to follow the footmarks of top traders?
by
Vektrum
on 21/08/2019, 04:50:15 UTC
A lot of different services have already been created that allow novice traders to copy the trading scenario of experienced traders and make a profit. For this service, payment is often made in service tokens. I have not yet used the services of such platforms, but I read a lot about them. Perhaps someone here will be able to do an overview of such a service with a report on the profitability or loss-making of such a trading method. In general, I agree, it is much easier to learn from experienced traders and learn from their experience and knowledge.

Re: don't easily trust IEO, be careful with that
by

In the case of IEO, the credibility of the project is based on the authority of the exchange, which hosts IEO. The team of any exchange does not want the authority of their exchange to suffer, so they will carefully select projects before placing it on their premises. There is a risk of scam, but it is significantly lower compared to investing in ICOs.

Re: Be aware, so many scam coins are around
by
Vektrum
on 20/08/2019, 10:08:18 UTC
There have really been a lot of scam projects lately. I noticed that even old projects with MVP and a good idea may turn out to be scam after some time. Fraudsters began to organize ICOs in a more sophisticated way and so that they are not accused of being scammers, they gradually sell their tokens and when the price of the coin drops very low and many investors leave, they refer to technical problems or insufficient funding for the further development of the project. Thus, they promise to drag out time and force investors to quit the project and leave.

Re: Governments against privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies
by
Vektrum
on 19/08/2019, 11:41:14 UTC
Confidential coins cannot be controlled, therefore it is not surprising that governments do not like them and they intend to fight them. But for example, European politicians proposed deanimizing Zcash wallets so that the owners of this coin could further trade it on exchanges and use it for their own purposes. Apparently because of this, the price of Zcash, Dash and Monero fell so much.

Good initiative, it will be interesting to me to study your reviews and those projects that you will write about. I hope you carefully select projects for placement in your journal, because there are a lot of scam among the projects and I would like you to try to interview SEO and other team members, study the technical documentation and the prospects of these projects before publishing them in your journal. And your reputation in the crypto community will be at a high level.

Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin?
by
Vektrum
on 18/08/2019, 09:35:30 UTC
The trend is pretty clear as you can see the gold price is steadily increasing due to the slowdown in the traditional stock market. These investments are least likely to flow to crypto market in any way!
Gold has always been the most appropriate way to avoid losses during a stock market crash. Now, in the same way, many investors are turning to gold, but I think that the growth of the crypto market capitalization indicates that some investors partially invest in cryptocurrencies. Because the growth of capitalization is observed against the background of falling quotes on stock exchanges.

Re: Old Bounty Project Or A New Bounty Project?
by
Vektrum
on 18/08/2019, 09:23:50 UTC
It is important for me that the project has an active team and a large community that supports the project, but this applies to older projects. Such projects have agreements with different exchanges, have some kind of reputation and fame, so they are more likely to make a profit for investors and those who participate in their bounty campaign.

Re: How to prepare for long term HODL
by
Vektrum
on 17/08/2019, 11:00:51 UTC
Preparing for a purchase and long-term storage is not difficult, just create a wallet and keep a private key from the wallet in a safe place. It is more difficult to choose the coins that you plan to purchase and how to distribute the budget between the coins that you will buy. I prefer to keep the bulk of the amount in BTC but not more than 50% and invest all other funds in other coins.

Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image
by
Vektrum
on 17/08/2019, 10:30:27 UTC
Thefts on exchanges most negatively affect the image of cryptocurrencies, but recently, exchange teams more often take measures to protect wallets and user funds. Some exchanges create reserve funds in case of hacking of the exchange and loss of part of user funds, and this is a positive trend that can increase the level of security of exchanges and increase the level of trust in cryptocurrencies.

Re: Poloniex Delisting 23 Trading Pairs, Whats The Effect?
by
Vektrum
on 16/08/2019, 12:49:46 UTC
I think it’s normal that exchanges delisting coins that have low trading volumes. Because many weak projects with their coins take their place on the exchange, but do not bring any benefit to traders and the exchange. The market is updated periodically, so do not worry about delisting some coins with Poloniex.
