Nothing goes up forever. Everything has seasons and everything dies.
That said, I think this market will grow again, but I am not so sure it will be soon. Last years growth was insane.
What goes up, must come down.
I expect to be better off than we are now by the end of the year, but not like last years run up.

Let's assume, for argument sake, that a global economic recession is right around the corner. Stocks are dropping, home values tank and unemployment rises. What do you think happens to cryptocurrency? We haven't seen a major global recession since the inception of blockchain and cryptocurrency. It's easy for a 'new economy' to thrive when everyone is enjoying 10 years of growth, but what happens when the traditional economy tanks?

I have some alts for long term and some not soo important alts for short term .... Just wait 10 % gain and sell and looking for other coins. But this bear market is very insane atm so i decided to wait couple of days . Now everything is on HOLD

My advice is just close everything what is related with Crypto Market for couple of days .. Because it`s very stresfull to look at the charts .

Soon everything will start to grow .... BULL market is near i can feel it

The only way is to do a proper research and don`t invest in scam .

People must understand what to make money from investments it`s a lot of research in play ....

So when pseudo investor will learn this lesson will be less scam ICO and also SEC started to check all ICO what are on the market .

I filled my bag with EOS, AION, ICON, OPEN and waiting for Wan to fall little bit more and definately i will buy a lot .

It`s like black friday It`s good what i moved everything to BTC before this dip so now i can buy more alts.

Hopefully this bear market will end after this dip .

I'd short my alts on margin to keep current alt bags...but accumulate btc on the down fall of the shorts....thanks poloniex your my best friend in the bear market

We can either see a retest of support before more dumping or we bypass support in which the chart shows a triple bottom.
If the dumping continues, my eyes are on 4.8k range.
Surprised on how well my Alts are holding up to this.

I noticed ADA has not moved in months, bought it in December and after January it dropped and hasn’t went up.

Anyone know what’s going on?

Are people just not buying like they use to ??

i have same situation with 3 of my ICO ( Eristica , Globitex and Knowledge ) at the moment they are trading on decentralized exchange with almost 70 % lower than ICo price . To be honest i dont understand people who are selling at this kind of price . But for sure i will hold till they will reach good exchange .

ATM i decide to buy interesting ICO project from decentralized exchange because it`s more profitable . But this will change after bull run will start .

Before i invest in altcoins : I do a lot of research

1: Team (check their linkedin and all information regarding their experience)
2. Whitepaper
3. What problem product solve
4. Community

Charts , vol. of trading , total supply , what news a comming related to the product .

And if everything is good for me i buy if not search for another 

Good news for ETH and cryptos, as apparently ETH is not going to fall under the ICO umbrella in which a security license will be required for exchanges. Normally I would say this is bad news for XRP, but since Coinbase is applying for a securities license to trade ICO born coins.

This is part one to the end of the Bear market for a very long time, part two (for me anyway) is still Gox, which needs to end. When that is figured out - very good times ahead.

Again - to reiterate VERY positive news, Coinbase has applied for a Securities License, and once they obtain it, they will be adding alts.

The SEC also mentioned (for the most part) that ETH is safe and good to go.

That's pretty big news.

The question is - if they begin hammering down these exchanges in the U.S. that are trading all the alts, will that drag down the BTC and the few others?
